I went in here for a electronic valve stem sensor part. I was in a hurry and trying to fix my car. I can't remember the guys name but he went well above and beyond what he had to do to try to help me get the right part figured out to get my car back on the road to get to work. I think his name was Josh maybe but that's the kind of service I wish all places had. Thank you if you happen to see this

EDIT: The guys name is Leo the legend. An airforce veteran I would be proud to have working at my store. Every time im in there he is such a great help and glad I found someone as decent as this man. I can't recommend you use this store enough with this man working here.

Chloe was great. But the prices? RUKM! Six other stores price my part at around $12. Adv Aut? $60!!! I ll not ever look for parts here again. I don t care why it s that way. But it is. Why not just feed my money to the garbage disposal?

This is not a review of the service. The employees are great. However I have had many issues and heard from employees about general "management". Well, lack there of. The general manager does not seemed the least bit concerned at keeping schedules or making a work environment efficient enough for the employees to do there job correctly. This has been YEARS now that there have been several complaints from not only regular costumers and employees but also the business' they service too. I am amazed at how the general manager still has his job when it clearly seems he does not take it seriously enough to do it properly. I hope the district manager does something because it will not only cost Advance it's gracious and patient employees but it has already and will continue to cost them costumer service over 1 personwho does not care.

The workers super friendly. Prices are kinda high. This particular trip i was looking for toggle switches which were almost 40% cheaper at walmart. Although they were awesome probably be an only if I need to come here place.

Although the items I needed were not in stock, the clerk was able to order them for me, a d they arrived the next morning. I wasn't required to pay for the parts until they arrived, though I could have if I wanted. He provided me with a list of tools needed to do the job I was preparing for. The necessary fluids (power steering and brake) were also on sale a d readily available. The tools were available for purchase, but the prices for these was high. Standard tools are not a available through the tool rental, but a set can be borrowed, if one is willing to do the repair in the store lot.

I usually don't order from Advanced. But I gave them a try again after a bad experience last year.I was very surprised at how well things worked out this time.I placed my order, 30 minutes later I stopped by the store and my order was ready to go. All I had to do was sign there receipt and I was on my way.I have to thank the Sunday staff for getting my order right and having it ready for me.Thanks guy's for taking care of me and showing me that I can trust Advanced again. I will be ordering again.Thank you,JD, Athens

My experience was over the phone, so don t take my review as reflection of their in-store customer service. I called to ask a question about maintenance and parts advice from their parts professional and before I could even finish telling him the issues I ve been having with my vehicle, he blew it off as it could be tons of things. Your best bet is to just take it to the shop. Great first impression.

The Advanced Auto Parts in Athen s Ohio is a great place to find basic parts of any kind , the customer service is very helpful and the store always has exactly what i am looking for and i hope that they can assist you as well.

Kurt, "The commercial parts pro"Did a excellent job today and made me more willing to give them my business. He obey all the covid requirements . Excellent and very helpful his assistant ryan who was a manager was very helpful too

Zach is amazing!! My 2011 Honda CRV would not start after being at Petland- right behind Advance Auto. Not only did Zach walk over to jump us, he took the time to explain the battery covers. He even mentioned I could go awhile without a new battery but I didn't feel like getting a jump everytime or worrying. He found us an ideal battery and installed it in no time flat. So grateful that we were close enough without having a tow or find someone to jump the car!! Advance has those handy portable chargers. So awesome. Last year I purchased deer whistles from here and they work like a charm!! Thanks Zach!

Very helpful employees. Also, their attitude and attention to help every customer even if it is a complex issue and take a lot of time they are very willing to take their time to help you. I recommend this place to anyone. I was very impressed and surprised how much they love to help the customer out. I will be back to shop with Advance Auto parts on east state street.

Literally the worst customer service ever provided by one person. The guy who only stands behind the register with the weird hair, is singularly the worst person to have represent your store.

So I really hate writing bad reviews but this has me fired up. I went to this Advance because this was the only place that had what I needed without waiting for days. So I went in and seen that there was a sign up that said pick up so automatically went to that register sat at that register for 10 min waiting for someone to come assist me all the while customers are being ran up while I stand there, 3 customers where ran up and assisted before finally I ask can I get some help over here. The fat curly haird guy working the regester looks at me and replies That's not the line as rudely as possible. That fat guy needs some training in customer service. I will never ever shop at another advance auto parts store ever again. If this is how company trains there employees to help customers .

Good hours of operation. Prices tend to be a bit higher than the competition UNLESS you have a coupon, and there seem to be a lot of those to be had off their website, from papers, and elsewhere. They've had stuff in stock where Autozone, my other go to place, did not.

They just rejected refunding me for a headlight bulb bought through their website. First one person wasted like 20 minutes trying to refund me and then the manager came and refused. I hadn't even touched the product and went to pick up and then only I asked to return they just said, we don't refund for electronic items. Hilarious. Customer service very bad.

Good prices but most of all they are very helpful with questions that seem very minoot to some people. So no matter how small but question is the answer and come up with a solution with a smile. Glad you're there

Josh is very nice and helpful, I don't know much about vehicles, which I was honest about so he explained my problem to me and how to fix it so I understood it, he was very knowledgeable.

This is a definitely a good place to get car parts for a reasonable price. And if you need something special ordered, they ll typically have it in within 24-48 hours.
