I was there late evening on a Friday night to get a battery. It was busy and the crew was clearly tired but all kept up a quick pace and gave friendly service. The crew was willing to help even if it was not the service / job they were assigned to and if they could not help you would find someone who could. Great crew.

The guys and girls work hard; but management needs to set them up for success. Enable them to be open on time, for one thing. Also: someone needs to start a petition to give them a raise. Wal Mart has a substantial profit margin, and is no longer the most affordable option: this means your employees should also prosper.

DO NOT take your car here. I brought my car here to get the battery changed and they damaged my car to the point it would not even drive out of there. I made a claim with all the proof they asked for just for them to wait until two months later to respond and tell me I was denied.

Yikes! Save yourself the hassle and take your car to Madison location instead. Ashtabula did a hack job on my tire change. Broke a sensor on one tire, bent the valve stem on another tire causing a bad leak and put on mismatched lug nuts on my spare. Took my car to the Madison location and they did right by me and fixed Ashtabula's mistakes. Same company, but such a HUGE difference in competence and service.

We've come here a few times for oil changes and tires, there always seems to be something new wrong with our vehicles after we've come here, and twice now they've "done" an oil change, without changing the filter.

Was told that I was second in line to get my tire changed then it was a five hour wait. Came in the next day and was told mine would be next. I went shopping and came back and four different cars were in front of me. I was told maybe I should go thru the dealership. I will NEVER go back there again.

Zero stars, first I called they told me they only had 1 set of 4 tires for my car. I said I would take them and was on my way, the guy gasp and hung up the phone. I get there and there is a sign stating tires are done by appointment and walking will be worked in. I asked again what they had for sets of 4 tires in my size, 30 min later I had 3 options. I decided what I wanted, the lady told me to take a slip out to the garage and they would schedule me. I walked out and 10 minutes later a worker asked what do you need? I gave him the slip. He pointed behind him and said all these are ahead of me. I asked would it be a few hrs or what. He said I can just tell you how many ahead of you. I decided to buy the tires and have them installed elsewhere. They were very happy. I went inside paid for the tires, took about 15 minutes. As I wheeled the tires to my car the garage cleared out. I would have been next in line. They implied a long wait so they did not have to change my tires. I was so exasperated I just left. The 6-8 employees working on 12/31/19 @ 3pm should all be fired. Worst experience ever. Felt I was pushed out the door. I went in for 4 tires, a premium oil change, wipers, and any flushes I could get done there and left with 4 tires... somewhere else will get my money for all the profitable services income. I would like this complaint to be resolved by a call from regional manager.

I went in for an oil change at 11am and they said it was going to be a while because 2 cars in front of me were getting tires done etc.. I said it's fine because I'm expecting to wait 1hr or so because yanno WALMART. They asked me for my number checked me in and all was good. I'm walking around walmart, I walk to planet, I walk to go to the play place in the mall (I had my 1yr old with me), walk back to planet and then at this point it's 1:15pm so I'm thinking, "why haven't they called me it's been around 2hrs" so I walk back to walmart and ask for the status of my vehicle and they said THEY PAGED ME AT 11:45AM!!! I said what do you mean paged? And they said on the loud speaker at walmart. I said why didn't you call me or text me if I didn't show up? Why did I even give you my number if you didn't even try to contact me?! Why even have an alternative way of communication if you aren't going to use it? I was walking around for over 1hr 30min with my child because I thought it wasn't done yet. If I hadn't gone there myself hey would have never contacted me!!!! Don't tell me it's going to take a long time and then have it done in 35minutes and not communicate. Not only that, but I went to pay and I was waiting for around 7minutes to be addressed. I saw the workers standing right in front of me having a conversation and they purposely didn't even look at me knowing damn well I was there. They were so rude. Honestly you'd be better off paying a few dollars more at Volveline down the street because this place is a JOKE.Service: Oil change

I've taken my car to Walmart auto a few times. If it's just your basic oil change, they are fine, but i did not have a good experience with the tire services. It is also hard to get a hold of them by phone. I miss the days when you could just drop your car off, but i guess it makes sense that they need a schedule for being more productive.

First of all, I waited for sometimes and they said someone will be right with me in a sec, that second became 35 minutes. After that, they lie about full synthetic oil change, last time they said it s good for 5000 miles but now they said it s your wish , it s your car, we don t care if you drive for 5000 miles. Today they said it s good for 3000 miles. They are very rude and their way of speaking is too bad! The guy with beard thinks he s the owner of walmart and the pther guy who was repairing a vehicle thinks he s the dean. I would never recommend anyone to go to Ashtabula Walmart for auto service. I don t even want to give one star but whateverServices: Tires, Oil change

Auto center was very rude... I called earlier that day and asked if they could get me in to fix my tire they said yes after 4p he said no appt needed. When I got there attendant was very rude to me and said I would have wait 2 hours or more that his appts came first and to go move my car before he would take my information. I left and found another garage to look at my tire... Turns out I had to buy a new tire... They got my $200. not Ashtabula Wal-Mart

Avoid at all costs spent over 5hours waiting to put a tire on 1 rim . And the employees kept going outside to smoke cigarettes while knowing we're watching. And they refused to price match from there own website. It was 50something for 1 tire and in-store was 70something and wouldn't price match for the 50something. Very unhappy with the service yet again. I'll be going to my car dealer for now on after this. And been here now 6 hours so we're just leaving it here and buying a new rim and tire. Not even worth it saying anything at all.

Went last Saturday to get one tire put on my car. They didn t have my size. The lady working the counter said they had a different size that might work (not sure how she figured that) and then offered to order 4 tires of my size when I only needed one. Went home, ordered my tire. I called today around 1:00pm to see if I could have the tire put on when I left work at 4:30pm. The lady said that would be fine, I could likely fit between appts they already had scheduled. Showed up at 4:45pm, was told that I was late for my 1:30pm appt and that they had been waiting for me and no longer had a spot for me. I asked how long of a wait for the one tire, they said 2 hours. I said no thanks, I can t wait that long, I ll just take my tire and go somewhere else , to which the lady responded soooo... you don t want to schedule service? No. That s what I m taking my tire and going somewhere else means.Drove down the road to Glotzbecker s, 20 minutes and done.

Avoid at all costs. We dropped car off for an oil change. Tech stated it would be about 20 minutes and they'd call over the PA system our name. Started shopping in the store, finish shopping. No call over the PA (in half hour's time). We make our way back to the automotive service desk and a different tech prints off a sheet that states. "Cancelled: Couldn't get oil cap off". He also stated that previous place we got our oil change at put the cap on too tight and to take it back there.I take them at their word. Get home, test oil cap myself and was able to get it off myself in about 10 seconds time. So now I'm out gas money, time and above all, a damn needed oil change. I will not go back to this place and you shouldn't either if their techs can't properly remove an oil cap.I KNOW oil changes are dead simple. However, not everyone has a garage or necessary tools which is why we pay for others to provide the service. Simply unacceptable.

Waited over 3 hrs for oil change. When I dropped my vehicle nor a single employee was working. You could have heard a pin drop in the bays. Employees slow as molasses. Not worth wasting a whole afternoon to save a few dollars.

Rude people. This is the first time I have had problems in a Walmart auto care center. I love them, but this time in Ashtabula it was hard. The manager is terrible and so are the employees.

I have had pretty good luck here. The last few years I have used the Wal-Mart Auto Center for all tires and a few oil changes and I feel they have done a good job. It does take awhile but it sure beats doing the work myself. :)

They took a 15 minute job and made it last two hours. When I went in to check they were all just standing around doing nothing. Then one guy saw me and walked back towards the car. Very unprofessional and you can see why Walmart Mechanics have a stereotypeService: TiresService: Tires

They won't let you bring your own oil and filter for them to change for you. You have to use there Bulk crappy oil and generic filter..... Who does that? Turn away business because the customer doesn't want to use your junk motor oil? I'm from erie and the Walmart there let you bring your own oil. Even says customer provided oil and filter on receipt...... Get it together. Seriously!

Horrible service. Took over an hour for an oil change with nobody in front of me. Lazy employees standing around joking and laughing instead of getting customers in and out. Wish i could get paid to stand around and horseplay while customers are waiting. I would give them no stars if it was possible.

Was there for 5 hours to get 4 tires put on. A little excessive I'd say. Very disappointed. No one gives you an update or apologized for the wait they just ignore you...

Waited 2 hours. No cars were there when we got there. 2 hours later we were told 2 cars were ahead of us. Cars came after we did and were taken care of ahead of us. We left!! Terrible experience
