The facility was very clean, the cooked food appeared fresh, well organized, and has a nice variety on the shelves. The employees are friendly, a cashier even kept his cool when someone was being a jerk to him. They do their job and get it done right.

With the new store More room. The prices are still $$$. But if you need it in the middle of the night they most likely have it.

I really like self check out! There was only one cashier at the time and he was swamped. Being able to check myself out takes a little pressure off cashier and gets me back on the road faster.

Run down and dirty parking lot. A few nice employees, but others seem to hate working there. One employee is always outside talking with The River People. Good price on my cigarettes though and open 24/7. It's a win/lose.

Went here for butter on 4th of July because everything else was closed. 9 dollars for a small thing of butter.These people are crooks. I won't ever come here again.

Our fast and friendly team is always happy to serve you!Unless you run into the guy I had the misfortune of dealing with.I don't think I've ever heard an employee of any store yell (sarcastically "bye") at a customer as they are walking out the door. He even suggested that I shop elsewhere. No problem, in fact I'll make sure to never go to ANY circle K again. Better yet, I'll let everyone I know to do the same. Most definitely the least professional person I've met working a retail job.

I am reviewing the Ashtabula Harbor area store at 917 Lake Avenue. I have frequented the Harbor Circle K, as well as several others nearby, for many years. The new, much larger store added recently has been nothing but a mess. It is common knowledge among anyone who has been there that you're not getting out quickly. The store employees are the laziest, most miserable group of human beings I have ever encountered. They act like they absolutely hate their jobs, and a customer's presence is a nuisance to them. They talk amongst themselves while one person (slowly) works at one register even with a line wrapping around the store. Their explanation, when someone complained rather loudly one afternoon after nearly 15 minutes in line, was that only certain employees can do register. While that makes sense, I have routinely witnessed employees who have definitely been on register before just standing there refusing to even look at the growing crowd entering the store. And, in those circumstances, if someone has to open a register, I have seen them fling the closed sign aside or roll their eyes or just act completely put out by the bother of having to actually, gee, work at their job!One employee in particular, Megan, is especially awful. She is extremely rude to customers, and literally turns away from people at the register to talk to other employees. Instead of telling you your total, she will point at the card machine or just simply turn back and start talking with someone behind the counter. If you get two words out of her, it's a good day. And this is not a random occurrence; it has gotten to the point that we will turn around and leave the store if she is the only one on register. Employees come and go from there often, and former employees who work elsewhere talk of the awful experience they had at that store.During one recent visit, there was a line of 12 people (yes, I counted). There were two open registers, but the girl (I do not know her name) who was working the second one was carrying on a very lengthy conversation with a customer who she obviously knew. People were putting down their things and leaving, muttering to themselves, shaking their heads.The previous little Circle K was, by comparison, wonderful. A small group of employees worked there, and everyone knew everyone, often by name. Only one employee (that I am aware of) moved to the new store and stayed. She always has a smile, always treats the customers kindly, and she is always working really hard no matter what she is doing in the store. I try to go during her shift because it is nice to have someone actually doing a good job and not treating customers terribly.

July 2021, recently added a self checkout, but it seems to take more time than an employee checkout. Management responded by scheduling fewer checkout employees. But those employees that you do interact with are always pleasant and helpful.

Great place to stop on any trip or general destination. Gas prices are always very competitive. They have nice clean restrooms. They always have fresh coffee, soda, food, and snacks. The food and snacks usually have pretty good prices. Very quality place to stop.

Good little place to go to for gas and cigarettes and chips and dip but there prices are almost double for milk and bread and almost All of the loop and now it's not fair to seniors and people have to pay for it by using a money machine for paying for the goods

Like the new stores and how they are laid out, have plenty of people working, wide variety. Also, have hands down the best chip dip on the Lawson dip

Good place, good selections. I go here almost daily. Only down fall is they don t hire the kindest people to run the registers unfortunately.

New location is a huge improvement! Much more pleasant experience. Haven't interacted too much with staff to have an opinion in that area. Visit this location maybe a couple times a month.

This location has good parking area, with plenty of room between the pumps and store parking. Their offerings are to be expected in a convenience store.

Tonight.. 3 customers with no masks, 6 customers with masks on their chin, and a cashier not wearing a mask. And I witnessed an armed altercation in the parking lot - but at least they were wearing masks.

Bought cigarettes from here and asked for specific cigarettes got a kind that I don t smoke. They screwed up and I spent money to be told that they couldn t make it right. I refuse to pay extra money for an employee s mess up.

Very nice since it's new. Good to have a gas station in this area too. Can't beat the fountain drink prices.

Definitely an upgrade from their previous size and location. I think its crazy how its brand new and everything seems to be falling apart though.
