Got a flat tire and submitted Roadside through my insurance, after submitting I noticed I didn t have my spare in my car. Called Auer and advised them I would need to cancel. Instead they went out of their way to look for a tire for me to help me and was able to tow my car where they found a tire! I just needed to update my roadside help! Amazing people! Tow truck driver equally as nice and efficient with everything! Would absolutely recommend this company for any needs!

The two gentlemen that helped us move our 5th wheel camper today were excellent. We were late to meet them and they waited for us with no problem. They helped us get the camper ready and hook it up. During the drive they were extremely careful and delicate with our home. Once we arrived at our destination they took the time and care to safely get the camper into a very tight area. They helped us level it out and made sure everything was set before they left. Super great customer service and all around good guys! Thank you so much again!Service: Special vehicle towing

I waited 2.5 hrs for a tow set up by my auto insurance. While waiting, Eric happened to drive by and asked if I needed help. I explained the situation and he gave me a card said if I needed something call and he would come back out. 2 hrs later I found out my auto ins canceled the tow they set up. So... thank God for your card! Eric came right back out, loaded my jeep and got me home safely. It was a very long day... but I appreciate all your help and would definitely recommend your services!Thanks,Aimee S

After dealing with the insurance for 45 minutes to get a truck, Auer were there within 25 minutes of being contacted. Driver was very friendly and professional. Excellent company will use them again if needed.

My husband was stranded on St. Rt. 250 this AM. Auer towing came quickly. The driver was friendly and professional. Reasonably priced. Thank you Auer Towing for getting him home safe!

So this morning I got a call no son wants to get. My mother was in a car accident. She was taken to the hospital where I met her. While there she requested that we grab some things for her. I asked my wife to head down to the lot. She was turned away as they were enforcing a policy requiring a power of attorney or the registered owner only. Frustrating but fair. When it became clear my mom was to be transferred to a better equipped hospital and would be spending the night in the hospital I rounded up her documents and headed for the lot so I could meet her with her things at the new hospital. Upon arrival the Wooster lot was locked up so I called the number on the gate. I was connected with a female associate who did not identify herself. After stating my intent to grab my mother s belongings I was shocked to hear her say that she already notified our family that documents would be required in a condescending tone. I informed her that I had the documents and would like access. I was told that this is a satellite location for them and they don t staff it. Strange that it s posted online as 24/7 when the reality is it s not staffed. She informed me I d have to wait and even added that if my mom was really in the hospital she wouldn t need anything from the vehicle. This absolutely floored me and I expressed my displeasure. Who is this woman to tell me my mother doesn t need access to her medications, bible, rosary ect. I also got a story about their policies, past litigations that caused the policies on and on. At one point I was told requesting access to another persons car was breaking the law and that I should educate myself . Keep in mind at this point I am in possession of the P.O.A. Documents. I felt attacked, disrespected, disregarded and not even treated as a human. News flash a towing service is a customer driven business. If you cannot properly staff your locations to a) provide access to customer vehicles or b) treat customers with respect you should do the ethical thing and remove yourself from the emergency dispatch list. Using a public service as a network to build business off of the misfortune of others and then treating them this way is unacceptable!Edit: Auer Towing & Recovery LLC clearly this is a top down organizational issue. Fantastic apology sandwich. Sorry, not sorry, look at our positive community interaction, sorry.I stand by my original statement and the fact that you feel the need to rationalize and justify your businesses shortcomings and your employees highly inappropriate comments and demeanor on a public forum should show any customer everything they need to know about your business!

This place is aAbsolute gem had my truck towed by them they said they where hiring went in a worked with them this place a the owners Chad a Megan are the best on top of all the people that work they. They treat not only the employees but customers like 100 % family members. They helped me out when I was at the worst part of my life and there still there for me to this day even tho I work els where I recommend this company to any an everyone

Josh was great. My car broke down on the highway. He got there 20-30 minutes of the ETA time I was given. Got my car towed home which about an hour ride.

Terri and Megan were fantastic! (As was our truck driver but I didn t catch his name)My husband and I got a flat on 71 heading to Cleveland from CBUS. We had our 2 dogs with us, and of course our car doesn t have a spare-just that stupid tire repair kit. Megan picked us up in her truck and brought us and our fur babies to where the car was being towed to replace the tire. Everyone truly went the extra mile-it was noticed and much appreciated!!Service: Car towing

They were fantastic! We hit a deer on our way back to Canada. Auer Towing were called for towing services. Steve arrived quickly and stayed with us til his boss, Megan, arrived to drive us to their shop. Once there, Megan helped us find a rental car company and brought us there, offering to take us to a hotel if the rental company was not able to provide a car. We had to go back to the towing shop after hours to obtain our belongings from our car and Steve was there waiting. I would highly recommend this company. They were friendly, beyond helpful, and comforting in a stressful situation.Service: Car towing

Auer did all the heavy lifting getting our old van up to milliron for us. They were great from scheduling to pick up. Eric did a phenomenal job explaining the process to me when he came to get the van. We ll definitely recommend Auer to everyone.

I needed to get my car towed to a dealership after a rodent chewed through some wires. I was able to get it towed within 15 minutes of calling and the woman that picked up was upfront and informative regarding the pricing. Ben was the driver and was very nice, professional, and efficient. I didn t get a chance to say thank you once we got to the dealership so thank you Ben!

Auer quoted me 70 dollars cheaper and got to me quickly when my car acted up. I drove along with Dan. He was super quick on pickup and drop off. I was impressed with his respect for the mechanic, he asked where he wanted my car and put it right there for him. He also took me home so I didn t have to wait for a ride, which was appreciated and above the call of expectation and duty. Not that I want to be towed again, but if I need to be, I know who to call.I just read through the other reviews let me address dispatch since I saw a few complaints the woman answering the phone, I don t remember her name, super kind and helpful. She was busy with something else and still made getting me a quote and a driver dispatched her priority. I will just say, the company answers and I trust their answers that the people complaining were behaving some sort of way. I have nothing but nice to say about the two people that I dealt with from Auer. Thanks again!Services: Car towing, Local hauling

Have had them tow a car from an auction, have had them work on multiple vehicles. It was explained to me, affordable & done in a timely manner. I m in no hurry to go back, but definitely will when the need arises. 5/5 highly recommend

The service from Auer was professional from start to finish. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful, giving me a timeline when the work would be performed. The service technician was knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous, taking care of the problem in no more than a few minutes. I have had similar services performed at least twice before by two different local towing services and the first was off-the-chart rude and condescending, the second was good but overly expensive. Auer will definitely be at the top of my list if the need arises in the future.Service: Battery service

Cassie (sp?) was great on the phone, helped to schedule me in a very very timely manner. Daniel was a true gentleman and was very careful with my vehicle as he hauled me to a dealership. 100% recommend Auer Towing. After sitting on the side of the road when our RV fuel line broke, we finally connected with Auer Towing. Their truck arrived within 45 minutes of our callamd towed the RV to our dealership which was at least an hour away. They were so friendly and efficient. I had spent over an hour on the phone with GoodSam Roadside Assistance (what a joke). Just an fyi, GoodSam is worthless and I canceled my membership.Thank you Auer Towing!

Van broke down at 4pm on a Sunday, called and told me they could have someone come in after hours to help us get back on the road. After hours guys were incredible. Fixed blown transmission hose and got us back on the road within 3 hours of breakdown. Super nice, super affordable, amazing experience. Saved our whole road trip to Tennessee. 10/10 service. This is your place. Great mechanic!

My husband and I had an unexpected vehicle break down. Lance was the tow truck driver that showed up. He was knowledgeable and professional. He helped to make a bad situation better. The service was quick after they were notified we needed Auer's service. I hope to not need them again but will contact then first and directly if the need arises in the future.Service: Car towing

Great company and great help. Blew a tire on my gooseneck with 8k on top of the axels they were able to repair the tire and get me a new rim fairly quickly to get me back on the road.

I needed a winch out (I was stuck in the mud) I called all upset Tish answered and calmed me down, Steven arrived and got me out. I was able to get back on the road home. Thank you for everything

Great people! Went above and beyond to come and help us when our AAA Gold Membership couldn't even come and get us until the morning 100 miles from home. Helped us locate a local mechanic and have greatly exceeded my expectations of what a tow truck company could do. Thanks again guys!

My friend's car died on the side of the road and pushed into a private establishment. A cop happen to be passing by and got involved so it had to be towed because it was in the parking lot of a business. As I got to the car to see if I could help in anyway, I asked if I could get in the car to retrieve his girlfriend's medicine in the back seat. The car was hooked up, but was not yet being pulled onto the truck. The driver was absolutely rude and refused to let me get into the vehicle for medicine... I would never recommend this company because their lack of professionalism and respect.

Auer Towing and Recovery. While traveling from Illinois to Pennsylvania on June 10, 2018 our front right wheel fell off our car. Every lug post was sheared off. The driver that picked us up was very kind and professional. We had our car loaded for the trip. He helped us unload it to the truck, drove us to the hotel we had to stay in for the night. He even offered to help me carry all the luggage to our hotel room. Now that is service. The owner of Auer's also suggested a shop that we have the car towed to for service. We were truly blessed to have had Gearhart's Garage in Ashland suggested as "the place" to be towed to. If you live or are a traveler needing towing service, don't call anyone else. Call Auer only. Truly a lifesaver. The rest of our trip to Pennsylvania and back home was perfect!
