Being the car guy that I am, I generally know exactly what's wrong with my car before taking it in. These guys were the most honest, on point, caring, time and cost efficient auto service I have ever experienced. You get the sense of they true care and honesty. They give you feedback with urgency on the matter to help you budget out if needed. They're app is fantastic. Never knew an auto shop to have an app but you get instant savings, rebates, coupons and ease of communication. The customer service is stellar. Not to mention I called, dropped off within the hour with a list of service requests any auto shop would schedule out or take days on, and had completed in about 24 hours. Trust me when I say it takes ALOT for me to leave a review, be it positive or negative, but these guys are definitely worth checking out!

This hometown mechanic shop has been a real gem for many years. I have sent our family vehicles to Tiltons for over 10 years. Always an honest inspection, prompt service, and quality workmanship. Highly recommend.

Tilton s was fantastic!! They gave me a quote that was HALF of what the other guys wanted. The staff is very kind, I didn t feel taken advantage of as a single mother. The work was done efficiently and well. I will be a returning customer forever!

Tilton's Automotive Service is the most trustworthy and honest auto repair shop I have ever been to in the Columbus area! After trying other repair shops for years, I finally switched to Tilton's and they have been great. I visited my dealership recently for some repairs covered by my warranty, but then the dealership told me I had a bunch of other maintenance and repairs that needed done which amounted to over $1000 through the dealership. This was completely ridiculous so I took my car over to Tilton's to have them look at my car and the maintenance that the dealership said needed done. My car is only a year and a couple months old. Upon inspection of my car, Tilton's confirmed that everything that the dealership told me I needed done was totally incorrect and looked like they just wanted to get money from me. I know Tilton's is in the money making business as are all businesses, but I appreciate that when nothing needed done and my vehicle was alright without any repairs, the professionals at Tilton's were open and honest with me and didn't try to charge me for unnecessary repairs. Any and all work I have had done through Tilton's in the past is top notch and at much better prices than most other repair shops.

The folks at Tiltons Automotive are wonderful. They are knowledgeable, professional, their prices are reasonable, and I believe they truly care about me and my car. It's saddens me to write this post because we've always had good experiences at Tiltons for over 20 years. I have also felt confident that they would do right by my elderly father who does not have a lot of auto knowledge, but unfortunately that confidence has been shaken. Roughly six weeks ago, my daughter took her vehicle there to have her oil changed, She has taken her car there for any work that is needed since she has got it. During the service they told her they were surprised her air conditioner was still working because it was leaking air conditioner fluid. They did not give her any instructions beyond that, except that she may need to get that taken care of before next Spring. A week ago when my daughter went to start her car, It wouldn't start and we had to get it towed to Tiltons. They informed us at this time that she was going to need $1500 worth of work done on the engine, because it had overheated due to leaking engine coolant. There were no service lights or gauges indicating that her engine was overheating. I am not not naive enough to think that they Are responsible for all the cost and fault, but I also don't think it fair to charge us full price for a misdiagnosed issue, I also did not appreciate the condescending way my daughter and father were spoke to when smthey approached them about this. I feel that it was a fair to question why they couldn't tell the difference between air conditioning and engine coolant. I guess this goes to show that twenty years of loyalty does not mean much.

Tilton's Automotive is fantastic!! My better half & her mom have been going there for years and now I know why. Professional service, questions answered, and and old truck fixed safely for my family. Bob is awesome and the customer is first!! I'll definitely be going to Tilton's for vehicle repair.

Had my car in for oil change and tire rotation. Dropped car off and picked up later that day. No problem at all. Would recommend Tiltons.

Bob and team are wonderful! So glad to have them in my neighborhood. Service is top notch and prices are honest. There was one time I had a weird knocking under my hood and took it in. Turned out it was a cap to one of my liquids that popped off and was making the sound...they didnt charge me for putting the cap back on :) . And recently we had one of our vehicles serviced at a dealership for a recall and they found something that needed to be fixed. Called tilton for a quote and they came in at a fraction of the cost. Best auto repair shop I have ever worked with.

Went in to get the alternator changed but they said it was not the problem. A short time later the problem came back. Turns out it was the alternator. Had to turn around and bring the car back.

Tiltons came through for us when our car suddenly broke down recently. They even have a very efficient towing service and reasonably priced. Even though we weren t on their repair schedule they got us in the next business day and did a great job.Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

My wife and I have had brake jobs, oil changes, and a transmission replacement done at Tilton's, and I have been really pleased. The prices are pretty middle-of-the-road, but the clear and professional communication, the transparency, and the quick turnaround have been exceptional. On the one occasion that they made a small mistake, they owned it and gave us a discount on the next work we had done there. Who can complain about a local business that stands by their work and does right by customers? Highly recommend this shop.

Tilton's services all our Company vehicles. We had an unplanned incident and had to have vehicle towed there, and they had us running again in only 2 days! Fantastic Service and Customer Service always 5 star!

I blew a front tire on the elevated portion of 670 outside of Gahanna during morning rush hour, which was terrifying. I was able to limp into town and luckily ended up a block away from Tiltons. The guys there were great. They were fast, efficient, and kind - and took great care of me and my car and made sure I was able to get safely home an hour away. My day could have been a nightmare, but I got very lucky. Highly recommend!
