They ordered a special tire for my car very quickly. They offered me much flexibility with my schedule to come in. (I had to reschedule many times.) When I did get there, my tire was replaced very quickly. Hardly any wait time. Everyone was very nice!

Unfortunately, I've had to get a lot of work done lately - 4 new tires, new front brakes - all within the last two months.Fortunately, I got it done at this Tire Choice location.Ken, the manager, and the very nice young woman who works at the front desk, are always friendly, accommodating, and professional.But, my third recent visit today, is what inspired me to write this review.My wife got into a minor fender-bender just by our house. Nothing wrong aside from some popped-out paneling in the back. It was so minor I figured I could even fix it myself. My wife, on the other hand, wanted a second opinion. So, I obliged.I called Tire Choice, thinking they don't do body work but may give me a recommendation. I explained the situation, and they asked if I could come down right then. I did.Ken looked the car over and, without hesitation, began popping panels and ratcheting bolts right on the spot. I even asked if he wanted me to pull it in the garage to put it on the rack instead of laying down on the asphalt - he declined and kept going.All the while, I'm standing there chit-chatting with him while he's working. We talk about our kids, cars, etc.Fifteen minutes later, my car looked as good as new (or at least, as it had before the fender bender).I asked him how much I owed him. He said, "Just write a nice review."I hope this is satisfactory, Ken. Thanks, again!

On the twentieth of March, less than a month ago, this place replaced all four of my tires. I have had to add air to all of them about twice a week since they were replaced, not just a few lbs of pressure, I fill them to 30lbs and they drop to 15-18 lbs in less than a week. I take my car back and tell them the problem, and they want to charge me almost 200 dollars for all of the valve stems needing replaced on tires they just put on my car. Says the valve stems aren't part of the brand new tire warranty. When I went in to have my tires replaced, the manager told me all of this stuff was wrong with my car adding up to 1500. None of it was wrong. Most of it I just had fixed or replaced by an actual mechanic who is trustworthy. This place is a joke and a scam. Why do so many people in this world choose to benefit by making life more difficult for those around them?

Myja (sorry not sure how you spell her name) but she was the assistant manager at the Akron location was very helpful, attentive, and tried to at least reconcile an issue I had after receiving 4 new tires from them.The store manager however, I believe his name is Ken is a condescending, rude, and very arrogant human being and it's really a shame someone like that is allowed to be a manager and work in customer service. After I had left this shop I was driving on the highway and noticed wobbling coming from the rear of my car and pulled off the highway and stopped in at another auto repair shop to have someone take a look at the lug nuts to make sure everything was tightened appropriately. After the other shop tightened then he proceeded to report the back tires were very loose and compared it to being "hand tightened" . I then took my vehicle back to tire choice to have them rectify the situation and I made them aware of what the other shop had done.After they assessed my vehicle they refused to touch or fix anything because the gentlemen's trying to help me did make a mistaken and over tightened the lug nuts passed the recommended torque required for my vehicle. Tire choice then recommended I get my vehicle towed over to the other auto repair shop so they could fix the over tightened lug nuts and also recommended I sue this other company for doing so. Being caught off guard by this response I had to leave my vehicle overnight and come back in the morning which is when myInteraction with Ken happened.My dad was with me as I am a young pregnant female so he came to be another set of ears. Ken immediately had an attitude and came off very dismissive and didn't want to hear what we had to say at all. He then was picking apart the words I was using to describe what I felt in the car after leaving his shop initially saying "well last night you said vibrating and now you're saying wobbling that's two every different things and vibrating is not an issue" He could never even admit that there was ANY possibility that human error exists and that his techs could have possibly not tightened the lug nuts appropriately in the rear tires. He admitted no fault and basically washed his hands clean and refused to assess or fix my car after I paid his establishment almost $900. Not to mention I am 35 weeks pregnant and felt like I was put at risk and he didn't care and just kept blaming the other place for messing up (which granted they also made a mistake).Would not recommend and suggest Ken gets an attitude adjustment and or fired

Amazing staff and service! Manager Ken was great and Miyja was amazing VERY friendly and knowledgeable! Took time to explain things through with great patience and understanding GREAT shop! HIGHLY recommend!!!

The service was immediate, and the assistant manager kept me updated throughout. I rolled in on a flat tire, and they had 2 in stock my size. The technician attempted an alignment, and wasn t able to get it right on my VW golf. I still had to take my vehicle to the VW dealership the next day for a correct alignment. I would buy tires from here again, but now I know they don t have the right tools to align a VW.

Not the greatest with customer service, although Ken was generous in his concerns of my issues, he was not in the best of attitude. I felt very dismissed and not given the opportunity to see a reasonable resolution that could have occurred.

Shoutout to the crew here! The manager Ken met with me at 7:30am on Friday and was up front that they were a day behind due to a road construction power outtage the day before (which I had experienced myself that day) so they were definitely slammed. I needed front brakes pretty bad and rotors changed out and the oil changed while we were at it - told Ken I could pick up as late as 4 or 5pm and he called me at 12 to let me know it was ready to rock. Brakes working good as new again and I'm grateful we were able to be flexible with time and a good job done on such a busy day for them. Also appreciate the inspection and some things we went over to keep an eye on over the next few months. Thanks dudes! I'll be back

There has been a series of mistakes that need addressed at the 1680 W Market St, Akron, OH branch. We had a tire shipped to the store. Somehow when Steve, the manager, went to install the new tire, he managed to pop a hole in the side wall and also break the bead on the tire. He said he would have a tire in the next day. It ended up taking 9 business days to get a replacement tire. When we finally got the tire installed, there were deep scratches on the spokes, and chipped paint all around the wheel. They also managed to lose the lug bolt caps to the wheel. I took the car back to him and he acted like he had no clue what happened when I showed them the wheel, but claims to have one on order now.My wife complained that her steering wheel was shaking on the highway after getting the tire installed, so I took it out and tested it myself and found that she was correct. I checked the torque on the lug bolts, and it seems they decided to put the wheel on the car using their impact gun. They were torqued on so tightly my impact gun could not get them off. I had to jump on my breaker bar to back the bolts off. I then had to do their job and torque them correctly to 103 ft/lbs. I then backed them off again using the breaker bar to compare to before and found that they came off with relative ease as they should with a breaker. Overtightening a lug nut or bolt is extremely dangerous as you risk breaking the bolts/studs. Both Monro and we are fortunate the wheel did not come off with my wife and baby in the car.I'm never going to be a Monro customer ever again, and actively warn my friend/family about my experience. I don't appreciate the lack of care by the manager, damage to my car, and the fact my family was put in a dangerous situation.

Horrible experience and horrible customer service. I took my car there to get brake pads and rotors on August 9th. They squeaked for a month but I was giving them time to brake in. I booked an appointment for September 12th and the tech tried to see if the pads were defective. Turns out they put the wrong type on my car. They ordered the correct pads for my vehicle. I was out of town and said I d call and schedule on Monday. When I called the guy said they were on the shelf. When I got there today they had sold 2 of my pads to someone else. I waited while they put the two on my vehicle almost an hour and have to come in again and hope my brake pads are there. The manager Ken would not do anything to make things right and was smug in his responses to me.

I called at 12:30pm today to ask if they had room for a brake change and they made room for me, all on a Sunday! When I arrived at 4pm, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Walked me through what services I needed and applied discounts from their website. Such a great experience and I will return for any and all future work on my vehicle! Thank you Monro team!

I took my vehicle in on 8/12/23 bc it was pulling to the left. After an inspection Ken( Manager) informed me that I needed a wheel alignment and 2 new tires. I had the service completed $383.23. I returned my vehicle on 8/14/23 bc I had to get off of the e-way bc the pull is now actually worse. Ken (Manager) now shows me a very faulty control arm assembly/ball joint on the passenger side est. $232.75. My ?? .Why would a wheel alignment and 2 new tires be put in BEFORE the control arm assembly was addressed. I later called to speak with Ken about refunding my credit card. I spoke with another assoc. I've rcvd no return call. I've now paid for a service that doesn't function bc the other service wasn't addressed FIRST. A trained mechanic knew that and that decision by Tire Choice put me in danger. For your own safety and peace of mind. Choose another shop.

They're under new management and are very helpful, very informative and goes above and beyond for your car.I appreciate them for everything they did for my car to ensure it runs great and is safe to continue driving.Gave me great prices that I couldn't have gotten elsewhere too.

They did not have my tires from Goodyear, despite having ordered them ahead and Goodyear tried to deliver them. Then tried to make it somehow my fault, until they realized their mistake. Did not communicate when my car was done. Then one of my tires wasn't properly installed and I was once again treated as if it were my fault. I will not return and have already told my family to avoid them as well.

JAMIE was beyond helpful and professional. We needed 1 new tire, and he inspected to make sure....very professional, fun to talk to, and a great sense of humor. Our regular car dealership lost out because no service dept or tire purchases open on Sundays. Thank you so much for your consideration and understanding!!!

Been here since they were munroe. I order a set if new tires and ask for the hazard protection. Get a flat and they refuse to fix it. Also never even got the chance to explain what happened they were very rude and I have had my car in their shop 6 times in the last 5 months due to tire sensors, tires and what not because work wasn't completed correctly. I will not be going here again. Take your money somewhere else because you won't be valued or appreciated. Definitely do not recommend to anyone

I was in a bind a few weeks ago after my regular shop closed. I took a chance on this facility and and am SO glad I did! Everyone was so nice and professional. In fact, about a week or two later my tire blew on the highway and I knew exactly where I was going. I made an appointment online, same as last, only this time when I went I found out it didn t save. I was not made to feel I was a burden in any way and in fact they went above and beyond to make sure I had my car same day. Being a woman and taking your car to a shop can come with a lot of stigmas and NONE of those negative things you hear happened to me by any means at this shop. I have now become a LOYAL customer and will recommend to everyone!

I brought my car in for routine maintenance and was told to get new tires.Called Tire Choice and they had me in the next day to get worked on.Jamie was very friendly and helpful to me.I really enjoy the Wallhaven location and its team! The best place to go I drove from Kent just to give these guys a try and it definitely was worth the drive they explained to me what my problem was and even showed me on my car what it was. They didn t beat around the bush gave me a great price and did it quickly. Chris and Felip sorry if I spelled your name wrong they are very professional and Jamie he was very professional when I walked in the door I will be going back there. Thanks for your guises hard work. I appreciate it. If I could give you guys 10 stars, I would.

GREAT service all around and superfriendly staff! I was in 5 minutes after I called, and Jamie and Steve identified the problem within 2 minutes (exhaust needed welded) and finished the work on the spot under (!) the 30 minutes they had estimated. It truly could not have been any better. Excellent. I sure will be back!

I hit a pot hole and was near the shop at the time. I pulled in and all their bays were full. Everyone was so kind and friendly. I had to wait a few minutes but they pulled my car in and let me know the rim was bent. The guys kept me up to date. They put air back in my tire and I made it home safely. While I was there, another family came in with a wheel and they stopped what they were doing to seal their tire and get them back on the road. I appreciated their help so much.

Went in today for an oil change. The guy in the front, Ken, took great care of me. They went above and beyond for a simple oil change. Will be bringing my car here for all future issues and maintenance
