I absolutely love this shop they have a friendly staff that are knowledgeable in their field of work. They give good timely service and always let me know of any and every problem that may arise with my vehicle Erica is a great help always friendly and upbeat and Alex is a great mechanic who's quick yet very efficient when working on my car I will always bring my car to their shop any and everytime I need to.

Bought 4 new tires and rear brakes from here. Dropped it off in the morning and had it back shortly after lunch. The Toyo tires Erica recommended are as smooth as glass. A week later I started hearing noise in my front end. Thinking it was brakes, I took it back back to Erica. She called me within a couple hours saying it was just rust buildup on the front rotors. They cleaned them all up and the car glides silently now. Will be taking my wife's car there soon, they definitely earned my business!!

I can confirm that the 5 star reviews are well deserved. Erica was polite, friendly and helpful from the first phone call. I brought my car in due to a grinding noise in my front brakes. They even gave me a lift home from the shop! After they checked it out Erica called and said that all my pads and rotors had plenty of life left. The grinding noise is normal first thing in the morning... who knew? Not me that's for sure! They did an oil change, rotated my tires, and replaced my back wiper blade for a really good price. I love an honest shop and that's hard to find. Will definitely come back for my future repair needs! Thank you Erica and team!

Erica is everything the other reviews have said. She's kind and knowledgeable and thinks about the customer. She and Carl took great care car of my car. Definitely will take my car there for future needs and let others know about the great service at Stan's!

ive had to come here more than anyone would care to in the last few months. the transportation deities have been unfavorable recently but a neighborhood hero was there in my time of need! i will keep going here as long as i live in akron. erica is super friendly and up front. her team is quick and the quality of work is more than what you would expect for a fair price. after hastily dealing with other shops i took the time to read reviews and ask people i know in real life about where to find a good mechanic, and time after time stans came up as one of the top suggestions. i now know for myself why. i couldn't recommend them enough.Services: Auto brake repair, Auto emissions testing, Battery

Always friendly, always truthful and always willing to help you out. We've been going here for several years with several vehicles and have never had a bad experience or felt they were trying to just get money from us. They're always honest about what we need to do for safety and to keep our cars on the road. We love Erika, especially. She's quite a gem.

My first time going to Stan's was Friday the 20th. I will absolutely always bring my car here going forward as long as I can make the drive from Canton. Everyone was nice, courteous, and prices were very reasonable. I ve been going to Stan s for 5+ years and Erica is knowledgeable and pleasant every single time I call. I take all my vehicles here and have had nothing but excellent and quality service. I recommend Stan s to everyone! 10/10

Been going here since 2008. Best auto shop I'm Akron. It's a little expensive as opposed to working on your vehicle yourself but no more expensive than any other shop. The only difference is when you take your vehicle to Stan's, you know it's going to be done right. On some of my larger costing bills they've let me be short on cash before numerous times, take my vehicle, and come back and pay them a few hundred bucks at a time over the next couple weeks. I'm very grateful for this place, it's people, and how they've helped me over the years. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My car had been broke down for 2yrs. Stan's got me up and running again. I am amazed after it sitting for so long how quiet it is. The office staff was very helpful and polite. Thank you, guys for an awesome job! I would definitely recommend this place.

Honest car repair shop. Does very good work for a very reasonable price. Erica, the service manager is awesome to deal with.Had a heat shield that was rattling and two broken tie rod ends (thank you Akron roads). They quickly figured out what was wrong with it, gave me a quote, and it was fixed by the end of the day.This shop keeps my Toyota Corolla in good repair. Thank you!

Definitely recommend Stan s Auto! After working 12 hours I found my Jeep with a nail in my tire. They were busy but got me in as quickly as they could. Erica was super nice and friendly. The technician fixed the tire very quickly once they got to it. Will definitely return for any future automotive work that needs done!Service: TiresService: Tires

I was referred to Stan's Auto by a customer and mechanic from a muffler shop. My car was running hot and leaking antifreeze. I received excellent service at Stan's Auto Service. They removed and replaced my radiator. My car is running very good now! The repair was reasonably priced and completed within one day. Erica, front office, was very nice and welcoming. She was also very knowledgeable about the service I received.I will definitely use their service again!

Unfortunately, I ran over something on the road and sliced the sidewall of my tire. Stan's was closest, so in my bit of panic, I pulled in hoping for help. It was lunch time, but that didn't matter. Erica and the tire garage gentleman set aside their own lunches to help me. It was fast, calm, and very affordable. They were so kind to me and I intend to put them on my list of "go to" garages. When driving home from Akron our tire popped. We stopped at a national chain tire shop who was not able to assist us. But they recommended. Stans tires for less. They said that they are our best bet at getting the tire fixed to get home. They could not have been more correct. Great service, great prices and were very kind people. 10/10Service: Tires

I've been going to Stan's for years now. When I first moved here, I didn't know Akron too well, but I needed to find a reliable auto service shop. After a time, I thankfully found Stan's. This place is honest, fairly priced, and employs a host of friendly people. I cannot stress enough how excellent their service is. They always do a fabulous job on my car and take the time to explain what they're working on. They go above and beyond in their service. Far beyond what you would find in your typical auto shop and, like I said, I'm beyond grateful they're here.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

Could not be more happy with the service I received with them. They were reasonably priced and the customer service was one of the best expierience I have ever had at an auto shop. Erica even let me know what services were a priority and what was not. Not only will I continue to use them but I'm going to send anyone I know needing work to them too. You can really tell they take the time to take care of their customers. Best of all my car feels brand new again!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

Had an alternator go out on my truck and after researching local mechanics I happened upon Stan's. I'm very glad I did. The customer service is superb and the front desk worker is professional and friendly. I got a great price for the work done with no added push sales that you get at other shops. I felt like I was being taken care of and I never felt like I was getting scammed, which seems to almost be commonplace now-a-days with mechanics.I highly recommend them. This will be my mechanic for all future repairs.

I highly recommend this location. Erica was super friendly, kind, and patient. I was able to get my car looked at the day after I called, and they fixed it two days later after tracking down a difficult to find after market piece. I was shown what was wrong, explained my options, and given price quotes. I ended up paying less than what I was quoted as well. They made sure that it was fixed correctly and urged me to return if I had any further issue.I appreciate the kindness Erica and the guys showed me. I will be returning here when my next issue arises.

I had a great experience at Stan s Auto! The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Erica and jasmine! I had my car fixed in one day for an extremely great price. I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs quality care for their car quickly with great prices (:
