We have taken both of our cars here for oil changes and they installed my Ford's new backup camera. They are attentive with checking in with us every 3 months, but on occasion they lack some communication while they are actually working on the vehicle (eg: when to expect to pickup the vehicle). They are honest, friendly and reasonably priced.

Needing to find a local place to get my breaks fixed. After reading the reviews for Rad Air, I decided to give them a try. I am happy I went with them! Jay was very helpful in explaining what all needed done. Like most of us now living paycheck to paycheck, Jay was very helpful in breaking things down in order of what was most important!Also being a female waking into a mechanic shop can be very daunting, as if they think women have no clue about cars and cost. That was not the vibe I got from them! When picking up my car, I interacted with Quentin, who also was friendly and helpful! I will for sure go back for future repairs!

My F-150 refused to start and my regular shop is limited to what they can work on. I was very concerned about picking the right place. I wanted quality work and didn't want to get gouged. There are a lot of bad auto repair shops. It took a bit to find the issue and it required taking the motor apart. It was a big job. Although it wasn't cheap I believe it was fair based on the labor and complexity of the job. They used all OEM parts and my truck is running great. I highly recommend their work and follow up.

Jay and the team were very helpful in finding me an affordable solution for a much-needed battery replacement and oil change! Jay's customer service and communication goes above and beyond. Rad Air Akron has great attention to detail, with a full overview of my car's health at pick-up. Got my car serviced and back within a couple of hours. Will definitely be returning for future auto service needs!

Jay and the team helped me out in a bind when my car ran into several issues a couple weeks ago. They received my vehicle day of, and had a very quick turnaround considering the work done. Jay was professional and communicative and I felt as though he was being very candid about the work that needed done to get my car roadworthy. Will be returning when my car runs into issues in the future.

Oh boy, where to begin! I cannot recommend RadAir enough, from start to finish, Jay and his team went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me in getting my car repaired, from scouring for affordable parts to making sure my repairs were as affordable as he could possibly make them for me, a broke college student who s just doing her best to get by. He even had one of his employees drive me back home after my car was towed to his shop which was the sweetest gesture ever for me in an incredibly stressful situation. Life happens sometimes and emergency car repairs are needed, but Jay and his team made it as painless as possible from start to finish. Thank you guys SO much!!

I cannot commend this business enough for how professional and accommodating they were to me. My wife's vehicle had a slow leak from a nail in the tire. As busy as I saw they were, they were able to get me in for an early appointment next day to get it all worked out. They were so quick and efficient. This is definitely the place to go for your auto repair needs. Highly recommended!

Have had good experiences here the times I have came. Got my car aligned this previous visit and they were professional, got the job done quick, and for a great price! It is hars for me to find car repair shops I trust and this is one of the ones I do! Highly recommend.

Jay at Rad Air was friendly in all of our interactions. They replaced my tire pressure sensors and did routine maintenance all within the same day at reasonable prices. I will be coming back for my next car maintenance need.

I had an outer tie rod replaced a few days ago and the difference it made in my car has been insurmountable. Not only that but the kindness, professionalism, and engaging conversation with John and Quenton was so engaging that it made the time go by quickly. They made sure everything was set to go with my car and follow up to make sure that everything is going as it should. That is something I've never experienced with any mechanic I've had work on my car and shows they truly care about your experience as well as to make sure the quality of their work is satisfactory. I will be taking my car to them for any other needs after this great experience.

AMAZING!! ALL I CAN SAY IS integrity the staff is always willing to help thank you so much for fixing me and my girlfriends car!! it was done fast and affordable. they offered me two different kinds of financing so I didn't have to pay out of my pocket for the 30days even better they gave me 1 year same as cash!!! what a great experience!!!! I trust taking my vehicle here, knowing they are going to be honest with me. They let me know if something needs or will need to be replaced or fixed in the future and the work they do is quality. Add to this, everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and it s just a great place to do business with.

These people are awesome. I was having a problem with my car and I was traveling with my five year-old grandson. I pulled up to their shop to find out what was the matter with my car they gave me and my grandson a ride home which I greatly appreciate it and then once they figured out what was the matter with my carit was a simple fix and he did not charge me which I gracefully appreciate it because right now I m strapped for cash everyone that I ve encountered that worked. This is a great place to go for women. Because they don t take advantage of you and make you feel comfortable. I have been telling everyone my awesome experience with these guys. Thank you Rad Air for excellent follow up service. I had a new battery installed in November 2023, It died March this year. I took it back to Rad Air and Jay had the battery checked right away, found it was defected and it was replace the same day. Thank you Rad Air for quality service with a smile. B.A. Saunders

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Went there for a diagnostic of my vehicle, told me it would cost me $5k for repairs. Figured u go here since it is two minutes from my residence.I called another mechanic in Stow, and he priced me at $2200 for all that needed done including labor cost. I also didn t need a few items that this place was trying to charge me for. I ll continue going to my usual mechanic. Shouldn t try and rip people off. Especially in this economy.

I went to rad air today to get my car serviced, and I m very satisfied with service. The manager Jay, was very informative and respectful. I met the tech, Joe, who serviced my car. These guys went above and beyond what most shops have done for me in the past. Thank you!!! I ll definitely be back.

Oil change takes some time, but it's worth it. They let you know if anything else is going on and they're ready with options. They provide clear concise information, and service at a more than reasonable price.

We needed service concerning the battery/alternator in our car and I called late in the afternoon just before they closed and John was able to get the car in first thing the next morning and the car was serviced and ready to go that same afternoon. John was very pleasant to work with and we were very appreciative of the service. I actually didn t even use their services but called to corroborate what the dealer was charging me and the gentleman who answered was extremely honest and helpful. I did end up going with the dealer because it was such a common problem with my make and model but I would highly recommend this garage solely based on how up front and helpful this guy was on the phone.

I met with John very nice gentleman. My car had a very bad issue could not drive it so I had it towed to there place of business in two days my vehicle was back on the road these guys are very good mechanics I would recommend this place to anyone that needs car repair. AVOID RAD AIR!! This place always has such glowing reviews but I noticed a few things off until my last great big swindle. I had told them a few times to check my brakes but they kept telling me they were ok. So about a year ago I told them it's time to change them, and they call back telling me they were still good for a little bit more. I take the car back in February not three months later and suddenly I need everything, calipers and all. $1600. The next day when they send you those cute texts acting like they care I said my peace and got no reply. If that was the end of the story fine, I got swindled and learned my lesson, but each back tire that had been worked on now has one missing lug nut. Good work there. But the kicker is I m trying to replace my tires somewhere else and they tell me the lug nut key is missing from the package it's normally in and I can't get my new tires mounted. So months later and Rad Airs terrible job keeps tripping me up. If you have a car that you care about just go to the dealership. It will be cheaper and better in the longrun. If you got a beater, go to somewhere cheaper. These weren't my only issues with this place but previously I just papered over the cracks and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Never again Rad Air

Best mechanic shop in Akron without a doubt!! You can't beat the quality of workmanship and the warranty they provide. I highly recommend Rad-Air in the valley to anyone!!

I just moved to the area, arriving after an 8-hour drive with the Check Engine light telling me I had an emissions system problem. I was delighted to find that there was a well-reviewed service center close to me AND that they could take me when I called. Quenton was super kind and got me back in driving shape. Recently had work done for one of my vehicles for the first time. Spoke with manager John and told him the problems I was having with my car that needed diagnosed and fixed. All work was done and price was fair in my opinion. I would recommend to anyone .

Great auto shop! They usually have a special or discount that brings oil changes to a very reasonable price. I feel they're honest and don't recommend a service, in my case brake pads & rotors after I mentioned a change in braking performance. They communicated where the pad levels were, and estimated time of life left and gave me a great deal on a full synthetic oil change. A little longer than a 5 or 10 minute oil change place, but this place will continue to get my business.
