My wife and daughter were driving across the country and had white splatter in their engine bay. Being 1000 miles away I couldn t do anything but could only guess it was coolant and a possible water pump or hose issue. I called Gille Auto (based on these reviews) and they told me to have her come by and they d get on it right away, but a water pump would be a day or two (no pump for her Prius in town). My wife said she drove in, popped the hood, and they came out and wiped up some of the splatter with his fingers. Felt it, and asked if they d hit some big puddles. They had driven through Glacier National Park in the rain the day before. He said it was mud, not coolant. Coolant levels were fine. No leaks. He walked away and refused payment.I can t tell you how much of a kind act this was. The honesty, consideration, and quick response was a huge blessing for us. Thank you!

Don't buy an engine from here! I bought one with a 105,000 miles spent a lot of money on a business to put it in and to be told the engine is no good. So I wasted 450 on a engine that is absolutely no good and the price of labor for a mechanic to put it in!That's what they sell people.

Had a nasty blow-out on a holiday weekend and was above my abilities to do it myself. Gille Auto roadside was able to help very quickly and get me back on the road. I didn't catch the dude's name, but he did a very thorough job, including filing some of the corrosion off around the wheel, lubricating the bolts, torquing the inner wheel on first (we have a dualie).Huge kudos to the company and that dude in particular. 5 stars.Service: Tires

These folks saved our butts, I was driving a truck from the east coast out west and the lower ball joint failed. They showed up within 20 mins to tow us and had the truck back on the road early the next morning. They were very friendly people that went above and beyond for us. Thanks a ton!

Last night our semi truck went off the road in the ditch of snow. We called towing service around midnight and the guy came out right the way and helped us. Price was awesome and we appreciated it. Avala Express

Amazing service! I got a flat tire about ten miles out of valley city, they were the only shop out of a few claiming to be open who answered- tow truck was there to get my car back to the shop in a very timely manner, and they went above and beyond to get me a tire and back on the road quickly- all in just an hour. I would highly recommend them and plan to return for future tire repairs thank you again for saving the day!

I saw they had a part I needed via their online inventory, so I made the trek from Minneapolis all the way up. I'm happy to report the part was as advertised and they gave me a fair price for it too! Super friendly people - I'd be happy to work with them again!

When we broke down in eastern North Dakota, we are glad that we found Gille Auto. Our tow truck driver Jeff was quick and extremely helpful. The repairs to our vehicle were done quickly, professionally, and at fair price. All of the employees at Gille Auto were a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them.

I stopped by there yesterday to have a couple of trailers stacked for me to haul back to Canada. They're very polite, very professional, and very efficient. I was very happy with the work they did for me. I highly recommend dealing with them!

I didn't like anything about this company. It took over a month of phone calls to make an appointment, when the vehicle finally got in, the company was called every three days AFTER the day they said the truck would be done. They had the vehicle for over 3 weeks when they said it should take a few days.They never called with updates or asked if they should order a new transmission since they had already sold the one they were going to put in. The estimated cost was $700 less than the actual cost. Do NOT recommend taking vehicles here for repair.

I had to keep changing my reservations with U-Haul and the lady who handles the U-haul business at Gille had to work long and hard to straighten out everything that Corporate screwed up. She also got me a better deal then I had on-line . Anytime I need a U-haul in the area they are my go to store. I can not say enough about the customer service

Gille Auto is awesome! The dispatching was helpful and kind. Travis showed up with a show room clean heavy wrecker and hoisted a heavy and awkward piece of equipment onto our lowboy and made it look too easy. Had an emergency oil leak right before a road trip. They took the car in instantly and had it fixed before lunch the next morning. (Would have been sooner but parts had to be ordered) Friendly and fast.

It took a little while for the heavy duty wrecker to arrive at my location because the driver was at an accident scene as a first responder, and had to go to the shop to get the truck and then out to get me. Once he arrived, he was right on top of things. He hooked up and moved my rig a couple miles down the road (with my engine running and the transmission in neutral) to a safe location to drop the driveshaft. Once that was completed, he towed my rig to a Petro service garage approx 60 miles away and got me there in time to make the repair arrangements before the shop closed at 6 on a Sunday. He did all of this in the rain. He was friendly and professional. I would use the company again if in the area and in need of towing.

I rented a u-haul car trailer from here. The lady up front was very nice. Was cheaper here to rent the trailer than other places. Not sure why but it worked out in my favor.

Nothing but good to say..i called for a part (radiator) in the previous afternoon, they said they would check it out, found one, i called next morning (today) and was told it was ready for picking up...very nice to do business with...will be my first place to call for parts..guaranteed.. ..i will drive the extra mile for such good service and friendly people to deal with..

BAD EXPERIENCE..Hi..My name is Beth Hernandez, I do not recommend this place I ordering a part for my truck last week, when I received was not the right part, call to let them know and the answer was. (that they were sorry but they had not another piece to replace it, also they would not return the money) so I loose $179.00 Dllrs...I think it is not a serious business and responsable

Called Gille to take a seized tire off my truck. They came out and knocked it off charged me almost $200 and didn t even put the spare back on the truck. I even had it sitting there waiting. Terrible customer service. I would never recommend EVER

My car broke down and they fixed it quickly as well as give me lifts to and from my hotel while I waited for the car to be fixed! Great shop and great guys!!!
