Top notch! Fast shipping, great product, and fast processing of core return. I've had my steering box installed for a couple weeks and even with a worn rag joint in my steering column that I'll fix soon my 1985 F-350 turns like a sports car!

Blue top does excellent, quick, and affordable work and craftsmanship! Cannot recommend them enough. I was very pleased with my 1972 IH Scout iI steering box rebuild. Customer service was great and their work was top notch. Extensive rebuild at an affordable price. Skip time and save money buying the "rebuilt" stuff from cardone, and avoid spending large amounts elsewhere. This is the place if you need a steering box rebuilt! Vehicle: 2001 F250 4x4 7.3LI don't leave a lot of reviews, but this definitely deserves one. I went through two part store steering gears for them to both go out in less than a month of installation. Even then, they never felt like they were right and the steering felt off with a lot of slack. In the process, I replaced all steering components thinking it had to be something else. What are the chances of two boxes going bad so quickly? Apparently way better than I thought. I purchased a BlueTop, got everything back together and IMMEDIATELY noticed a huge improvement. It steers like a brand new truck. On top of that, I was an idiot and forgot to purchase the core return packing slip. I was able to reach out to them and spoke with a real person. She was very nice and took care of it quickly over the phone and emailed it to me. I dropped the core off on Monday, and today, mid day on Thursday, I got my receipt stating that my core has been processed and paid back. This company get 5 stars based off of product and shipping alone, but they deserve a 6th based off of the communication and service. If you steering gear box is bad, definitely get a Blue Top.

I just got the blue top steering gear I orderedput in my 2007 F 250 powerjoker yesterday .had the original steering gear replaced 3000 miles ago, with stock replacement . It was still walking a little and then all three mounting bolts sheered. So I bought three new bolts from ford and ordered the blue top for my powerjoker - as soon as I pulled out of driveway. I was like wowwwwThe steering is TIGHTER and SMOOTHER THAN I HAVE EVER FELT BEFORE. ABSOLUTELY WILL RECCOMEND BLUE TOP TO EVERYONE I KNOW!I am sold on BLUE TOP FOR LIFE NOW.AND CUSTOMER SERVICE, was absolutely fantastic in my opinion!

Just replaced my Redhead that quit after 8 years and 80k miles. Steering is tight and installation was easier than expected, especially with the instructions provided. Seems we are off to a good start!

Blue top rocks! They take the time to respond to emails and even answer the phone which is a hard thing to come by these days. They helped me thru some videos of my issues before having me send the red head I had previously bought to them. It had issues and red head said it was the nature of the beast. Blue top got it right and I finally have my trucks steering back to the way it should be!

Felt great at first but at 2 years (40,000 miles) had a major seal failure 600 miles from home. Never have had a failure like this on stock steering gears and only replaced ours because of too much play. And Blue Top said it was probably too much fluid pressure so they are not taking any responsibility. Not pleased.

I bought one for my truck. I flushed the system, installed it, and bled the system. Damn thing was leaking out the the adjustment screw seal. Now my truck is useless for the weekend when I need to deliver and I m facing liquidated damages. Guess what, they were too busy to answer my phone call and didn t return me email.

Ryan with blue top was excellent to work with. I had replaced the front end on a 96 yukon but still had issues with the reman steering box. This blue top worked great! Highly recommend

I just received and installed a steering gearbox for my 1999 Ford F-350 dually. The truck has 479k miles on it. The original box was looser than a bag of buckshot and was a constant effort to stay in my lane. I wasn't expecting the new Blue Top Steering box to transform my steering to rack and pinion, but it's real close! Fantastic improvement! Highly recommend the Blue Top if you need a replacement steering gearbox.

Put on on my 06 lbz after I had had 2 other steering gear boxes in the truck, fixed my sloppy steering from front end and the steering wheel is tight, blue top is high quality!

They can be problematic - took me 3 tries! The 1st was loose and stiff to steer. The 2nd developed a leak at the pitman seal within 6 months. The 3rd has been fine for a while with no complaint! Application is a 1992 Chevy C1500 pickup if that helps.This was just my experience but if I had to do it again I'd do my business with Redhead. Seems like their quality control is more on point.

Great customer service. Was helpful in diagnosing the issue and very fast and responsive. New steering box is great. Before I wasn t able to turn the wheel at all at dead stop and had to constantly death grip the wheel to drive as it was very stiff. New box is buttery smooth and feels like I m driving a small car.

Sent Bluetop my steering box for my 08 E-350 Psd 4x4, the turn around time was amazing, the communication was great and my van drives like a new truck. Absolutely the best mechanical upgrade I could possibly have done.

Just replaced my original steering Box With a blue top... I do like the way it was packaged Very professional. Fitment was good & So far I've got to say that I am Satisfied also they gave me full core Refund. In addition I was able to speak with somebody In North Dakota that was more than helpful and knew her stuff. I would like to thank Everybody at blue top. America needs more companies like this.

Tried store bought gearbox, junky with play all over. Pulled the trigger and ordered a blue top and it was day and night difference. Got about 100 miles on it now and it feels incredible.

These guys are awesome! The place to go if you need a replacement. Better and upgraded quality than OEM. Customer service is fantastic. There was an issue with the box I received as it was damaged in shipping, but blue top sent out another one without hesitation! Cant speak highly enough of these guys, if you need a replacement gear box, get blue top!Forgot how nice it was to have tight steering again!Replaced on 2004 F-350 6.0 Turbo Diesel with 250k mi on it. Easy, and Blue top also provided instructions how to remove and reinstall and bleeding instructions. Easy and awesome!

Wow! Just did my OBS Chevy, having previously done the rest of the steering/suspension. SUPER tight steering box - feels like a new car. If you're on the fence, just do it.UPDATE: Received my core charge back today in full. Quick turnaround on that, as well.

So I've waited to see how this steering box was going to play out, so far 2k miles of driving on the truck. At first I was kind of iffy with it. Seem to still have play in it and the steering was stiff. As time has passed the play has settled and almost non existent. Still stiff but not like when it was first installed. Keep in mind I drove with a bad box for years where the steering would basically free spin. The turn around time was quick. I had 2 cardone boxes and they were pure junk, the blue top really made that night and day type of difference.

Great product with great customer support. Thought I had a problem with the box I got but turned out the issue was with the steering stabilizer on the truck. Bluetop was very helpful in helping figure out the problem on the phone. Highly recommend!!!

This guy is the best! I had multiple issues yet he continued to help me out and get another box ready and shipped the same day. Its so nice to find a company that cares about they're customers as much as I care about mine. He is always extremely responsive and took care of me over and over. Thanks again for all your help!

Just finished installing Blue Top steering box in my '96 12valve ram. The owner Ryan was quite helpful when I was a little apprehensive about bleeding the system. Following his instructions and encouragement everything worked out better than expected. Had no idea my steering could be so tight and responsive. Kudos to Ryan.

First blue top gear box, excess play in steering and so tight to steer. Replacement blue top gear box. Stiff spots in steering, excess steering wheel play. Spent $5k at multiple shops replacing every piece of steering and suspension components. Finally called red head gear box, took a chance with a 3rd gearbox, boom. Every complaint solved. Drives like a brand new truck finally. Just my experience with blue top, save your time and pay for the RED HEAD

Junk was sloppy and loose when I installed it went out before warranty was up got another went bad 2 months after warranty only been driven 4000 miles I'm an old man truck is oem bluetop is junk cost me 600$ in labor and 440 for box gotta get one elsewhere as these are junk sorry I ever bought one Greg very unsatisfied customer

This rebuilder fits custom oversized worm gear balls and machines housings if necessary just like the other steering gear guys whose name has a color in it, at a much lower price, and unlike the other guys, charges honest $18.95 shipping. Bluetop's 36 spline F250 gear feels excellent. I am already having him build me another gear for another car, I am so happy w/ his work.

I truly wanted to give 5 stars due to the customer service received from Ryan (I originally purchased 32 spline and it turned out I had 36). But after install and driving it around for a few miles, I noticed slight vertical play in the gearbox shaft that connects to the pitman arm.
