They were absolutely terrible! I went in yesterday they were really busy and was told to come back between 6-8 for an oil change that is time they have for strictly oil changes. Well I couldn t make it back last night so I showed this morning with someone currently getting an oil change done . I physically watched them pull the drain plug as I was walking in and was told but the lady at the desk that they only do oil changes between those times . No where on any of their signage so they say only from this time to this time only Walmart I have ever been at to do this to me.

THEY DONT ACCEPT WALK-INSNever met a Walmart that doesn't accept Walk-ins. Honestly embarrassing to call this an "Auto" department when they cant even offer most of the services that STANDARD WALMARTS OFFER EVERYWHERE. I'm tempted to contact Cooperate because I refuse to believe this "Appointment only" policy is backed by the Franchise. They only accept appointments but REFUSE to answer the phone, so your only option is to WASTE A TRIP a Walmart just to schedule a freaking appointment because the service is so awful they cant even answer the phone half the time. It's plain embarrassing and honest i hope corporate sees my review and investigates this "Appointment Only" Policy this Walmart has started. I've never been to a Walmart where Walk'in wasn't an option. It's just ridiculous, the excuse i'm given is "We don't have enough workers" yet there has been no move by management to hire anymore help. It seems like a lazy excuse to turn away Walk'ins.

Former employee. Auto care center does good work, open good hours and on weekends. We did our best to answer the phone but sometimes were too busy to get to it. Unfortunately the head of the department goes out of his way to deny car and boat battery warranties. To the point of lying about customer purchase dates, placing the purchase date before the manufacture of the battery. aswell as forcing customers to wait around while their batteries warm up, even if they are room temperature. And not explaining that we have to test the battery on our larger tester in the garage in an attempt to trick customers that the desk tester (which always says batteries are good) is all we can do for them. After lying to me and the customer, I was pulled aside about my attitude and quit on the spot. Great shop, with some good people, just a really bad manager.

The only reason I am giving a 5 is because of Jerry - Team Lead at Walmart Auto in Minot. My husband and I were camping at VanHook and unfortunately got a nail in our tire. We needed to do some traveling to a funeral the next day so we brought our tire to Walmart on a Sunday. Jerry was in on his day off and was so kind to help us, despite being there on overtime. Jerry THANK YOU!! On a side note- Jerry had asked the stores assistant manager to help before he left, to which he stated F*ck no. I m going home . You could tell Jerry wasn t pleased with that but still, Jerry stayed. That is dedication. Again, Jerry, Thank you for thinking of us as someone s daughter, granddaughter, and caring for us as such. You deserve to be the team lead and more!!Service: Tires

We were taken care of quickly despite confusion with the online appointment booking through the app. The employee helping us was beyond patient and committed to getting us sorted and on out way quickly! Well done!!

This Auto care center it's the worse I have been!!! I went there yesterday for the last time and I will never come back again!!! People over there have very low education badly knows how writers and didn't how use the computer!!! I'm a foreign my English it is not that good, but if a person works a customer service they should be able to read and write English properly!!! I brought the car to take look in the battery, I had the battery for less than 2 years, they did the whole service in the car, putted a new expensive battery without asked my permission. I specifically told them DIDN'T DO any service in the car without asking me before!!! The guy name MELVIN repeated my information louder and clear for everybody hear and him still get the information wrong. Him even signed for me!!! They could do a whole service in your car $500 or $1000 without asked you, late on their will call the police if you don't have money to pay for. Was just so wrong in many ways!!! The store manager don't bother come to the car center, so you are in your own.

Drove over 2 hours on my only day off to make appointment time at noon checked in then did all my shopping went to check at 1:30 then was informed another 40 minutes till they take it back just to rotate tires

Slow. I love the idea of getting my car taken care of while shopping, but they are so slow. I stopped by in the morning and i waited 15 minutes with no one at the counter. Then was told it would be an hour and a half, minimum. How is it so slow when another place can do it in less than 25 minutes? Are they understaffed or poorly equipped? I don't know, but the only way it is worth it is if you are first in line at 6am

Did awesome job. Would of been a 5 star but they did take along time for a oil change an new tires. Took 2 hours an I was only vehicle they had.

It's the cheapest place in town to get tires put on. I order them on Walmart.com usually can get a good set for 45 bucks a tire then when you bring them in they don't charge you for mounting and give you free balance and rotation for the life of tires all for 60 bucks total to put on. You do have to wait awhile sometimes though.

Long wait and lousy service. I've been here twice for blown out tires and I'll never go here again. The first time I went I had a 4 hour wait and the tire ended up having a small but steady leak in it. It hadn't even been a year that I had the new tire that it blew out again! The second time I went in to get it fixed I had to wait two hours because two people needed oil changes (It should NEVER take 2 hours for two oil changes so I thought that was insane) only to have them call me and say that they can't do it because they couldn't find a lug nut key. I as confused as to why they didn't have any lug nut keys in their facility, and they also didn't have the equipment to chisel off the lug nuts in the event of not having the proper key. I told them to check the glove box two different times and they said it wasn't there and after an hour and a half of me running around town to my apartment looking for it and to the place where I bought the car to see if they had one I get a call saying that it WAS in the glove box even though when I had asked them twice before if it was in there they had said no. And so after all of that, it's been a few days later and I have come to notice that the brand new tire is starting to get a little flat again. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here.

I would give them a zero star rating. Took them an hour and a half to look at my tire and tell me that they can't fix it. Took them another 40 minutes to put the spare on. Very poor. Can't express how frustrated I am with them. Never going back there again!!!

Make an appointment for your tires accept the time they havethey are understaffed but doing their best got my tires installed thank you very much for the hard work from the team in automotive thanks again

Brought my car in at 1030 in the morning and was told it would be a 3 hour wait. Got dropped back off at 130 with the intentions on waiting a little bit for it to be finished up. Here it is 4 PM and I am still waiting while mechanics are hanging out in the back talking and BSing. I know you dont expect the best quality/service when you come to Walmart but this is ridiculous!!

Took 6 hours to get tires put on (despite being in line before they even opened). They claim they're understaffed, while 3 employees stand around at the front counter doing nothing. The alternative to pulling a free part-time shift waiting around at Wal-Mart was to schedule an appointment 3 weeks out. Also, they don't stock snow tires even though this is North Dakota. Just make an appointment somewhere else.Edit: only had the tires for a month and one of them blew out for seemingly no reason.

Last time I ll be doing business with Walmart auto center. I went to the store to purchase two tires for a small utility trailer. I was told they do not have any on hand so I ll have to purchase the tires through their website. Also, was told it is free installation once they arrive.I then purchased the tires through walmart.com, and they were delivered to my house. I brought the two new tires, and the trailer rims to Walmart to get them installed. They did informed me they can mount the tire on the rim for free but it will cost $15 per tire to balance. Pretty pointless installing a tire on a rim without being balanced.I don t know how you can advertise free installation and not having balancing include.Lastly, if you buy tires off walmart.com you cannot return them. Definitely the last time I ll be doing business with Walmart s auto center.

As terrible as everyone makes this place out to be. They still come back because everywhere else in town bends you over with no lube when they hand you the bill. $160 to mount and balance 4 tires @Tires Plus, or $48 with lifetime balance and rotate here. F it. I'll wait or come back to save $100 anytime.

Made an appointment to get my brake light fixed. Ended up waiting 2 hours before they final took my car in. I'd rather watch paint dry then to come back to this mismanaged, unorganized "auto center"Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Horrible!!! Will never go back. These idiots took 3.5 hrs to change my oil. One of the idiots wanted to try to climb under the truck to change the filter and drain the oil because he was too lazy or stupid to move it to a bay with a lift. Like I said horrible .. Wish I could give them a worse review They don't deserve the 1 star

Terrible customer service. They re super unorganized and unprofessional. We waited 3 weeks for an appointment and when we showed up they said we never had an appointment. Also the service man was pretty rude. Wouldn t ever go back, wouldn t recommend

Certain days are super busy. Every Friday and Saturday because they seem to correspond to people's paydays. Today was busy. Not much on the shelves due to volume of people but when I went on Wednesday thus week everything was stocked and clean. Try a not busy time or day to get best results.

Took my 2007 Tahoe for an oil change brought Mobil 1 synthetic 15000 mile and Mobil 1 filter from store had my oil change done at Walmart minot Nd and was not done probably have huge oil puddle now on my drive way 4 of them took back to Walmart they said they didn t screw the filter all the way and it s still doing it not as bad on my drive now have huge stains on my drive way from it no refund or anything from mistake or offer to clean my driveway from there doing very upset and will never take back to Walmart for an oil change if I could upload pictures to show I would.

Don t go to Walmart for anything. They wanted me to have an appointment and refused to change my oil because they were closing in 30 minutes. Don t post hours if you are. It going to assist customer. I ll take my business elsewhere.

Had a low tire waited for over half an hour to get someone to finally "help" me and then was told they couldn't help me and by that time all other shops were closed very poor service didnt even offer to put air in the tore for me had to drive on it low and ruined my tire walmart is terrible... Worst customer service I have ever saw in my life!!!!!

Been turn down twice... To get tires changed and we came in early to be told they might have a spot at 5pm which they close at 7pm.. I wouldn't waste my time with these people at all.. they are the worse and bad service Walmart is the worse I wouldn't recommend..

Waiting 6 hours to get my tires changed and still come out on wrong never again and get charged for a rotation that I didn't have dumbass people everyone wants to make big money at there job but can't change simple tires
