I took my son s truck to Dave at Specialty Auto for brakes, starter, etc. I was really impressed with his knowledge of what was going on, quick turn around time and the cost. He was by far the best price in the Bismarck/Mandan area. Been taking my vehicles here for years instead of using the dealer shops. Great service, doesn't nickel and dime you on the price and always willing to discuss options in a informative manner instead of just forcing a fix.Too bad I'm limited to only 5 stars!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I ve had my 05 dodge 2500 in here multiple times. Have always been happy with the work performed. So far just front end work. Brakes, ball joints, etc. Price has always been reasonable and below what the dealership quoted. Also have been able to get my vehicle in within a few days. Overall I have always been pleased with the service here. Highly recommend!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I unfortunately trusted this mechanic to put a new engine in my Yukon XL and after only 60K miles the engine shut down while driving with three children. He is refusing to make things right so I'm out 7k and need to buy a new car. I recommend taking your vehicle to trustworthy shop and this is not it.

Called Dave about a front bearing out on my truck on Friday, he got it in and fixed it on Monday. He kept me updated each step of the way. Had him do an oil change and transmission service right away. He wasn t pushy about other work that should be done. Prices seemed very reasonable.

Dave got our vehicle in, diagnosed the problem, ordered part from Minneapolis, and he had it back to us the next day! We had it in to other Car dealership shops and they never fixed the problem but were glad to get to take our $$. Dave fixed it at a fair price and it drives like new!
