They are not overly worried about achieving things in a timely manner when it comes to ordering and scheduling. Being such a small shop, this pitfall presents a real pain if you are in a pinch with a daily driver.Hard for a small shop with a high influx and great reputation to balance this. I will not knock it against their score.Great work otherwise, so my review will reflect that. Good and fair pricing for top tier, honest performance. That is hard to find. I would definitely use this shop for big projects, while considering heavily staffed shops for the more minor inconveniences.

Very friendly and helpful! Beyond fixed in a timely manner! Been going to them for years and he's always done a great job. With it being a small shop and limited workers I couldn't ask for better local small business service. Not to mention the wallet isn't emptied after repairs! Will always recommend this place over others as I know the work is done right and the problem is fixed.

I took my F-150 to Shawns Repair and they treated me very well. My pickups fuel pump went out one night (So i thought) Shawns Repair was able to diagnose my pickup quickly, and figure out it was actually my Fuel Pump Driver Module not my fuel pump. Them taking the time to figure out what is actually wrong saved me ALOT of money! They really looked out for me as a customer! Thank You for your excellent customer service! I will be coming back again.

We have started using Shawn s repair exclusively for all of our vehicles which consist of Ford, Nissan, Dodge and GMC and range from 1991 to 2022. Not only are they fast and accurate but they are honest. They don t try to upsell and make sure the work that needs to be done is done right and priced fairly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

So grateful to Dan and Shawn for so quickly and efficiently getting our car towed and fixed when our brakes went out. We were many hours from home and appreciated the fair pricing, honesty and respect that we received. These are just plain nice guys, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing car repairs.

Quick repair, great work, great pricing.When I don't have the time to do it myself, I take it to Shawn's repair.Shawn's is one of only 2 Mechanic shops in the Bis-Man area that I trust to work on my vehicles. With honest opinions, honest findings, and honest pricing, you can't go wrong taking your vehicle here, new or old.

I'm a person who enjoys working on my own vehicle, I'm also wise enough to know that when it's beyond me, I need to seek professional help. I was recommended to Shawn's by another local who told me they were good. I had a right rear wheel bearing in my vehicle that was going out, after I spent a day trying to remove it myself, I brought it to them. These guys are true to their word, and to their work. The price quoted to me was the final price. Unlike some mechanics who add on extra charges, these guys for sure don't! I can't say enough about how pleased I was with the quality and the price of the work. Outstanding job! Thank you guys so much!

I had my vehicle at the local dealer for 3 days. They threw $2,500 worth of parts at it and still didn't fix the problem. They wanted to continue the "Well let's try this" game and I'd had enough. I took my vehicle to Shawn and he actually took the time to figure out what was wrong with it. One simple sensor and it was running like new. Wish I had gone to Shawn first. He's very knowledgeable, honest, and cares about fixing his customers problems, not just taking their money. I HIGHLY recommend Shawn's Repair to anyone looking for an honest mechanic that won't screw you. Thanks Shawn, I really appreciate it.

We aren t from the Bismarck/Mandan area, so when our engine blew up 30 miles south of Mandan, we had no idea where to go. A friend recommended Shawn s Repair. He gave us a rough estimate on the spot and then called us later after he did some research to give us prices for both refurbished and used engines. He ordered the engine right away and had the car fixed within two weeks, which we thought was a fantastic turn around time. His bill was true to his estimate, which made us even more thankful, and the car has been working like usual since we picked it up (knock on wood). We are very satisfied with Shawn s friendly and professional service and would absolutely take our car there again!

Great people to deal with! I was 2200 miles from home and needed a new oil cooler line on my promaster van (big job) and he was able to get me in right away and back on the road again. I would recommend these guys to any one local or even passing through! If I could give them 6 stars I would!!

While on a roadtrip with my grandson traveling from Wisconsin to western Washington I experienced car trouble early on. I googled car repair and called Shawn. Not only did he get me in right away but he stopped everything he was doing to take care of my vehicle. For a more than a reasonable price he got me back on the road within 2 hours. Thank you Shawn , made it home right on time. I would recommend Shawn's repair to anyone looking for an honest repair shop. I just wish he was in Washington, he would be my new repair shop!

They are amazing! Just moved to Mandan in July and was having engine problems. They got me in next day, didn't horse around and got my car running great! Excellent service and very reasonable! Will definitely take my business there in the future!

These guys were referred to me as I'm from out of town. Outstanding service! They not only fit me into a very busy schedule but had to fabricate a part that couldn't be found locally. All for a reasonable price. WOW thanks guys, your a life saver. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The service and the professionalism is through the roof at shawns they do great work and are honest about the prices. Have been taking my vehicles there for a few years and will not take them anywhere else.

Friendly people, but I told them I was picking up my vehicle around noon, they never told me that everyone in the shop takes an hour long lunch break. I waited outside for 45 minutes. No sign on the door or anything informing when they get back from lunch.
