Very honest and professional mechanics. Saved me lots of time and money. Stayed in contact with me for my tow from ellendale. Troy was there within the hour. Was closing time and he still helped me. So thankful. Will be returning for next vehicle service.

I was passing through Jamestown and my Chevy truck broke down on me. I contacted both my phone carrier andy insurance company to try to us their roadside assistance, I wait for hours and heard nothing back from either about a tow. I started calling around myself and J&L had their their tow truck to me in about 15 minutes, had the part delivered from a local parts store just after it got into the garage, installed it, and had me on my way in short order. If I lived in Jamestown, this would be the shop I would go to for any vehicle needs.

I love that They are full service. Putting gas in my car is a great service for me. I have had service work there and it has i'm very good

I blew a tire on the interstate with my two kids in the car and trunk full luggage. The gentleman at J&L was quick to come get us, wonderful with my girls, was able to get me a new tire on my car, and back on the road within an hour. And his prices were VERY fair! Will recommended to everyone! What would have been a very bad day was anything but! THANK YOU!

Stranded on the side of I-94, my wife and I were trying to figure out what to do. We had just lost a wheel in a blowout. Not a tire...an entire WHEEL was gone from our trailer!As a full-time family with a toddler and five dogs, we mentally prepared ourselves for leaving our home on the side of the road while we found some way to tow a 39 foot trailer that only had 3 wheels.Fortunately our AAA RV agent put us in touch with J & L service. She sounded skeptical when she told me they claimed they can fix us on the side of the road without needing to be towed.When Troy from J & L called he calmly asked a few questions about our situation. We texted him a picture of the carnage and he called back a few minutes later to tell me the plan. He had the wheel and tires available but just needed to locate a hub.Ten minutes later he called back saying he has the hub, a new spare wheel, and three tires and that he's on his way.Troy arrived exactly when he said he would, parts in hand. He and his team proceeded to replace an entire hub, wheel, mounted the tires, and had us up and running in a flash. He even re-packed all four bearings since I was long overdue, preventing future damage.My family was ecstatic that we would not have our home towed and left in a shop for repairs! Absolutely amazing, thank you so much guys!I highly recommend this company, they are excellent at their craft.

The shop went above normal customer service for me today. Stalled in Jamestown when I was visiting the Worlds biggest Buffalo - had 2 Rottie's with me too!! Had a tire emergency on our camper on a Sunday morning. Needed 3 new tires and were 5 hours from home. These guys we more than happy to help us in a pinch. The owner and service technician were both great and personable. We arrived and they both started working quickly to get us back on the road.The price was also fair. No price gouging just because we are from out of town and having an emergency. I highly recommend them.Service: Tires

I called J&L for a car lockout. He was extremely friendly, polite and efficient. He came in under 2 minutes, which was excellent because it was -40 degrees out. 10/10! Hope I don't have to call them again for a lockout, but if I need to I won't hesitate!

We had the bright idea to go on a road trip with a Ford. Obviously that didn't go to well. We ended up 300 miles from home 400 from our destination. We have the truck being serviced at the Jamestown dealership, but we still have a giant camper with no way to get it home. We called around for a uhaul or something that might be able to pull it, but to no avail. When I went to J&L to ask about their uhaul service, we weren't able to do it for technical reasons. However, he offered to tow our camper himself over 300 miles home! Our insurance covers it too, so it was perfect. We are extremely grateful for this. Would definitely recommend talking to them with your problems.

My wife and I were lucky to find J & L Service open on Father's Day after our vehicle came down with a flat tire. When they were able to look at the tire, they found 2 bad valve stems on the rear tires and fixed them quickly and efficiently. Great service and value. Would highly recommend!!!

Troy from J&L came to our rescue when our car broke down about 20 miles from Jamestown (on a Sunday) and we couldn't have been happier with the service he provided! We were just expecting a tow but were pleasantly surprised to find out he is also a great mechanic! He got to work on our car immediately, even picking up parts on the way to the shop and he didn't stop running around until he had it fixed. He also introduced us to delicious goose sausage and jerky! We really enjoyed meeting him and his team! Definitely recommend!

We are from out of state and traveling last weekend, got a nail in our tire and unsure how we were going to get home. Found j & l online....a short wait later, our tire was patched and we were on our way. Great customer service, extremely fair price and helped alleviate a ton of stress for us. Thank you for your help and for being open on a Sunday!

we were traveling to Alaska and had problems with our U-haul truck, Mr. Wade, the owner of J &L was very knowledgeable about engines, diagnosed the problem quickly, and was very helpful in us securing a new truck at another U-haul location so our long journey would not be delayed further. Great service, could not have asked for any better. U-haul should be proud to have his business as one of their locations.

Brought car in for heater core replacement along with replacement of the upper radiator hose fitting which was leaking. They replaced the heater core, but did not replace the leaking fitting. They did not flush the coolant system, as agreed on, and mixed green coolant and dexcool when they refilled it. I received the car back with overheating problems because of the coolant, a dash light on for the coolant level sensor, and a broken dash bezel from where they removed the radio and smashed it back into place crooked, thereby ripping out several wires from the radio, also. When I called, to let them know I was accosted, and against my better judgment let the. Have the car agai. To "make it right" of course they didn't. I went back down there at the end of the next business day when it was supposed to have been done, and it hadn't moved. After 10 minutes of waiting for them to get done working on the owners racecar, I asked to have my keys, so I could take my car. I was again met with attitude and bs and had to forcefully tell him to return my property. Like several reviews state, they also left my car unlocked when I went to retrieve it, but thankfully nothing had been stolen out of it. Previously I had had them do several tire jobs, but it is apparent that much more than that is out of their capability. Unprofessional, careless mechanic work. After two tries, I took back a car that requires more work to fix than when I brought it in. I wouldn't recommend having them do mechanical work on your car, EVER. JL service is awesome! Had a job interview hours after my car was having issues. I was given a ride to my interview and they worked quickly and efficiently to fix my car. Unassuming, fairly priced, small service shop, run by good, honest people. They have done excellent work for me recently and over the past few years. They are a full service mechanic and tire joint, with a fuel station, including full-service! (That's kinda hard to find nowadays) They rent U-haul too. Great place

My boyfriend had called 2 days ago to get his truck towed over to J&L to have his tires replaced. We had called three times yesterday being told they would be here at 8:00 am, never showed, called again, said they would be there shortly, still nothing, called again said they were behind and would call that day when they were on the way. They have yet to arrive. Called again today and no one answered the phone. This is very poor service, very very dissatisfied.

I was 1100 miles from home and this guy helped me right away. He knew it would delay me to order the part I needed, so he called another mechanic who did have the part and asked him to please help me. It takes some real integrity to send a potential customer to your competition when you know it's in the customer's best interest but not your own!

HORRIBLE BUSINESS!! This place is Horrible! They do not stand by their work. They had my son' s car (he is a college student there) for over a week. It was in for heater issue. It ended up being a very small hose clamp that they never put back on. While it was sitting on their property during that week, they failed to lock the car. My son's $60 backpack, $250 Oakley Baseball sunglasses and $20 worth of change were stollen from the car. The only thing they said to him was, Well we had so many vehicles on our lot during that time we just forgot to lock it.I SERIOUSLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

We returned a U-haul trailer there 10 days ago at 2:15 pm and were charged an after hours return fee. I've called them 3 times with no response other than "Let me take your phone number and call you back" ... they have not returned a call yet.

Was on my way through on a hunting trip. Yes Troy was good about getting me right in with brake issues. Put brakes together incorrectly made it to Bismarck and had to replace them again and additional parts that were damaged do to incorrect installation $640. Contacted Troy. He admitted to doing wrong n said he'd stand by it. Called him 4 different times in a month n kept making excuses. Never heard back or seen a dime. Bad business!!!

Just had my truck in to get the cv axles replaced. While there they ran into a problem and called me. They had to replace a part that I wasnt planning on. However, when I went in to pay, they only charged me for the part and not the extra labor involved! Talk about great customer service! Will definitely be taking my vehicles there for future work!

Been waiting two months for my car to be fixed. Call and they say they will call back many times and don t. Drive by and see it hasn t moved but the hood was opened and not shut all the way. Then they swore it would be done by Friday. Friday is here and I call and all the mechanics have gone home for the weekend and the guy answering the phone says they ...haven t started it. Call back on Monday... Grrrrr!!!!!!

My wife and rented a Uhual trailer in New York city to move our 2nd car across the country. The people at the location we rented it from did not properly install the straps to the cars wheels causing the straps to come loose and damage the bumper cover. We stopped by this location and the owner himself came out and fixed the issue and fixed the tail lights that weren't working which caused is to get pulled over by the state police the night before. He did it all in no more then 10 minutes. Its good to know that great customer services is still alive. Support this local small town service center.
