*Update*I was contacted by the Service Manager at Nelson Ford. After going over my repairs, he explained why the price was where it was. Nice conversation, so I am updating my review.I took my truck in for a recall, and to have an oil seepage looked at. I stated where I thought the deep was coming from, and was charged a diagnostic fee. Understandable. My service advisor stated he would get back to me with a price for the repair, but I authorized the repair with out a price. This was my mistake. I was promised my vehicle by noon. I took off work to pick up my vehicle. When I arrived, I was shocked at how high the price was. When I questioned the issue, I was told that my service advisor was out sick, and I could come back another day to dispute the price. It was unknown when my service advisor would be back in (he was sick). Again, I took time off work to pick up my vehicle, so the dealership had me over a barrel. I had to pay the price quoted to get home (I used a ride app to get to the dealer).I am disappointed with this entire experience. I was hoping since this new dealer was family owned they would care a bit more for their customers.

Went in this past Saturday to get an oil change and they were full. Ron helped me get an appointment for Monday. My oil change was done in a timely manner. The woman in the office and the young lady that checked me in were so sweet, and of course Ron is always the best!

Could've done a better deal but didn't seem willing to budget on the price. Dustin was super nice. A ten year old car shouldn't be over $ 350 a month. Is what it is

Jake in the service department was awesome. He kept communication with me the whole time my truck was being worked on and was able to get my truck back to me quick! Best service I have received at this dealership. I can tell Jake cared not only about this service but for any future needs I may have. Well done to Jake and the master technician for getting the big job done so quick.

The experience was stress free. I had a trade that to-be-honest had seen better days and the numbers I got were more then fair. The vehicle I am getting also was fair priced.

Most expensive oil change I ve had. Asked to rotate tires at oil change which they said they couldn t do but insisted they needed to charge the $30 extra rotation fee for inspecting the tires. The scheduled oil change took 1.5 hours. Waiting area nice.

I had appointment for oil chg and pwr steering fluid flush today. Met with Jake and I told him about my long patronage with Ford. As usual great customer service and no surprises. Thanks guys, customer for life. Bob Moore

3 BCM modules with numerous visits to the service shop in a 3 year period. Over $4K in repairs with the last repair being $900+ and upon departing the parking lot 6 service warnings went off. Apparently no test drive after resetting codes but quick to charge. Auctioning this vehicle soon and would never deal with Nelson again in the future. They also fire good staff members over minor infractions instead of showing empathy and talking to their employees about the issue. Spineless owners who would rather fire than to attempt to figure out employee issues first. Now left with staff that do a half fast job and charge big $'s.

I asked for an oil change and a tire rotation. The service tech. told me he was in able to do the work due because of not having the right tool? I drove to where I bought my rims. They sold me an Allen wrench and a thin wall 3/4" deep socket.!? The gentleman that checked me in was great.

My experience with Nelson Ford was very nice. The gentleman that greeted me as I pulled in was kind and considerate. Answered all my questions. My oil chg took an hour and everything was checked. Will definitely come back.

Service was good. The only thing I wish was that I didn't have to ask someone to print the inspection and go over it with me. I am older and like when they do that so that I know what needs to be done in future. Gentlemen was very nice about going over it with me.

I had an appointment for service. Over 2 hours to have oil change & tire rotation. No communication from any service person until I received a text after over 2 hours to except additional service, no personal contact from any service person. After they changed the air filter in engine compartment they left a wire harness loose, which could have fallen into engine fan. I found later while changing head light bulb. I had to drive back to service so they could attach wire harness. Very bad experience.

Had a problem with my cruise control on my 2023 ranger. An appointment was setup for today. After diagnostics a part was ordered and will be replaced at a later date. The service writer was very pleasant and helpful.

AVOID service here if at all possible:Three business days to get a diagnosis back on a check engine light.Expect to have to call service requesting updates otherwise you will not get them. I left multiple unanswered voicemails.Spent three weeks trying to fix a cheap and easy mistake made by Nelson during my service appointment, which eventually I was told to take my pickup to another vendor to get fixed.After being informed I would not be fully reimbursed, I thought the Service Manager might want to know about the terrible experience: He states it is my fault for listening to my Service Advisor and not escalating the issue sooner.Nelson service needs many communication and process improvements. They are willing to lose a customer over $60 rather than making right on their own mistakes. Go anywhere else.

Scheduling appointment: 5 stars12/12/23Check in: 5 starsCommunication and follow-up: 0 stars-At check in (7:30am). I was told that I d receive an emailed estimate of the cost of the repair, and if they didn t hear back from me, they d call within an hour. Neither happened.-Did not get a call to notify me that my vehicle was finished with either the oil change or the repair.-Upon arriving to retrieve my vehicle (4:30pm), I needed to see the check-in person, handling the case. At that time, he notified me that the repair was completed and it would cost me $180, for a code. I asked if he had emailed or called with an estimate. He said, no as it had crossed his desk 30 minutes prior.-He assured me the code was the issue, so they went ahead and entered it, which seemed to fix the problem . (For $180). Without the go-ahead from me. When asked about warranty, he hadn t checked into that either, and assured me he d do that first thing in the morning.-When asked about the second issue, he stated he didn t know anything about that, and would be a second warranty charge because it wasn t on the initial repair request. However, it was mentioned at time of appointment.-12/13/23 Brought vehicle in a second day, to finish the second part of the repair. Was told again, that I d get an email/call with estimate; none.-Upon pick up, still no clear answer regarding repair charge vs warranty submission, and follow up was warranted.-12/14/23 problem persisted. Called and left a message for case contact person toward end of day.-12/15/23 still no call back-12/19/23 husband called contact person. He asked that the vehicle be returned the following day. Stated his communication was spotty due to having a similar vehicle in the same day, with similar issues, so he thought he had made follow up calls.-received email confirming appointment. The confirmation had the incorrect vehicle and wrong service/repair listed.-12/19/23 7:50am valet service was scheduled to pick up at my workplace. I could see that they were circling the parking lot, unable to find the vehicle. Knowing that they may be looking for the wrong vehicle, I called the valet number to reach them- no answer. Texted-no response. Waited for them to circle back through, but they went to the other parking lot.-8:15 got a call, and turns out they had the wrong plate number. (25 minutes out of my work day, chasing the valet service, who was given the wrong information)-3:30:No call to confirm completion. Had to find a ride to 3:30 appointment.-4:10: just entering Ford lot, a call was received, that my keys would be retrieved in the office.-was charged warranty deductible. No further communication,*Still struggling in the service department!

My son purchased a pick up and they took advantage of him. They didn t tell him all the details. And after he got it home the check engine light came on and they wouldn t fix it. Wanted $500 to look at it. Which is crazy. And they lied about the interest rate. So if you are looking to purchase a vehicle from them I DONT recommend it.

I recently had service work done on an F150 at Nelson Ford. Ron Kaiser was my service advisor and he was effective with communicating the issue, efficient in the time it took for repairs and trustworthy! I appreciate the great service!

They had great communication when I had my pickup in there. They updated me on it and we re very honest with me about what needed to be done and how long it would take. When I went to pick it up it was simple and easy!

Jake was friendly and helpful. He kept me apprised of progress with my truck. I got some work done in the lounge while shipping my fountain Coca-Cola. I had six issues and ask were either taken care of or parts were ordered for next week.

Did not have to wait long for an oil change. Overall, when I got home drops of oil on the garage floor. I just wished techs would wipe the oil filter drip pan so this does not happen. Lithia was the same.. I also found that the oil dip stick was loose meaning it was not pushed in all the way in so that was not great. Just my common review. Waiting room was nice and had refreshments.

I worked with Grant to purchase a 2021 Camry and he was great! He was very polite and professional. My experience at Nelson was awesome and I would definitely purchase another vehicle from them again. The Nelson s golden retriever, coffee, snacks and massage chairs were a plus! I recommend!

I brought my service van in to try and find out why the cab lights were not working and also a few other lights did not work?About a year and half ago I did bring the van into another dealership and was quoted about $2000 to fix the issue. After Nelson looked into the problem, they fixed it with diagnostic fee included for less then $300 . Thank you Nelson Auto for the great service and being honest about the issue.Bryan

Brought F150 Platinum in for 4wd error code and grinding noise. They found no problem. Yet they came up with $2,300 of maintance suggestions. I will not use them again.

I was ticked that Nelson didn't honor my lifetime tire rotation with tires purchased at the dealership under previous owners but received an explanation at least from the service manager. Loved the 5-star service though from the Advisor Ron.
