This was an extremely smooth process and great experience. Due to our distance from Grand Forks, Ryan made it easy to figure everything out remotely. The finance conversation with Alex was quick and utilized common sense, an uncommon feature in vehicle negotiations. Best of all, we were able to get the perfect ride that she wanted. By far the best automotive purchase we ve ever experienced! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Thank you so much!

I had the absolute wort experience with getting a vehicle serviced at a dealer this last weekend!I took my Gladiator to the dealership for its first oil change and tire rotation on Saturday April 6th. Upon receiving my vehicle back from service, I discovered there was oil everywhere. Oil all over the inside of my engine bay, on my front grille, and front bumper. Oil was on my door handle, steering wheel, shift lever, center console, floor mat, and the driver's seat. There was so much oil spilled in the engine bay it actually dripped oil on my garage floor after I retuned home. I ended up with oil stains on my jeans and shirt from the oil on the seat. I spent the next 4 hours detailing the inside and outside of my truck to get all of the oil cleaned up.The absolute worst condition I've ever received a vehicle from any service department in my life! I keep my truck in immaculate detailed condition at all times. In fact I detailed my truck the day before I took it in for service. The blatant disregard for other's property the service tech displayed is appalling and down right unacceptable!I'll be taking my Gladiator and my wife's Wrangler down to Corwin for service from now on, I do not want anyone at Nelson touching any of our vehicles ever again!

I was in a pinch where my previous truck broke down and I need another vehicle fast I called up Nelson's and they got me into my new pickup fast and listened to what I was looking for. Overall best experience at a dealership! I didn't have to wait hours on end to get approved. And the staff never pressured me into buying something I didn't want! Definitely will recommend to family and friends! Thank you!

I dropped my car off for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation, in the early afternoon ( appointment was around 3pm). You would think my vehicle would be done in 2hrs, tops. Nope! I didn t get a call for my vehicle back until the following day, around noon. No way, it should have taken almost 24hrs, for a scheduled appointment. Service is just like Lithia, if not worse. Maybe, not retaining the whole staff from the previous owners would have been a step in the right direction as far as improvement goes. Make sure to tell the service reps, That scheduling appointments on the time they take their lunch break is not professional. Just for the client to come in and have to talk to a different rep for the slotted time, that they already were supposed to have reserved. Luckily, I was early and no one was scheduled for that appointment time. Yet, it still took almost 24hrs.

We needed a new part for our 21 TRX, they ordered it as soon as the issue was confirmed. We got the call yesterday it came in and got us in the next day to install! It was a lengthy process, but we were able to have a truck to get around in. The service department had great customer service, definitely will be back!

Service was barely passable and it was over priced. Thankfully, they were able to look at my vehicle today. Initially they weren t going to be able to look at it until a day later at the earliest. Also, didn t explain well to me why the repairs they recommended were necessary and i was charged well and above what I expected the repairs would cost. Would rate lower, if it weren t for the fact that they did actually look at my vehicle today. But at least they were ultimately prompt and efficient in their service.

Chris Woodward was great to deal with. I had Nelson s service department undercoat the Jeep so I didn t bring it home right away. Chris also took it to another business for me to have a spray in bed liner installed before I picked it up. This is the second truck I ve bought from Nelson s (the previous one was their Fergus Falls location) and I ve had great experiences both times.

I went to purchase another Ram truck because my dad and I had basically the exact same truck. Same year. Same color. Long story short - my dad passed away in his truck. I needed a change.I bought a Certified Pre-owned Ram truck for the peace of mind that it comes with. Or should.There have been numerous things wrong with the truck within the first two months of purchase that began on day 1. The tailgate "didn't open" when I was looking to buy, so they said it would be fixed. They finally got it open after paperwork was started, and there was a 5th wheel prep package installed in the bed. I wanted that taken out, and he said "I would be able to do that myself", but I insisted they do it. Turns out the entire bed needed to be taken off to remove. They made me pay for half of that even though I was misguided several times.There was an open TSB for insanely loud, moaning brakes that wasn't taken care of. I had to pay for that.The back window floods water when the truck is being washed. There is an open warranty for that.My check engine light came on a little after a month, and it is saying there is a problem with my right rear blinker. I brought it in, and they said there is something corroded, and that it was "a good thing I had a warranty because the part is $1,400 alone, but my deductible would only be $100". My truck sat there for 2 entire business days without them calling me back. I called them 4 times for them to tell me that there was a mistake, and it wasn't covered under warranty, and it would be $2,000 to fix. Since then, my entire center console has blacked out/bricked. No rear view camera, no radio, my defrost is stuck on high and heat, and my front windows don't go down.This was a Certified Pre-owned truck.....I asked what they can do to help this situation, and they said they would get back to me. It s been weeks, and no one has reached out. I need my truck for work, so it being at the dealership for days at a time every time something has gone wrong has made things even more difficult. This experience has been, and still is a nightmare.

Made an 8am appt for an oil change, 2 days in advance. Told Service Advisor I had to work that day, but would drop my keys in the early bird drop box at 6am. After work, stopped in to grab my Jeep, but someone (manager on this particular day) did not check the drop box and my oil change had not been done. Pulled my Jeep in right away after learning about the mistake. Luckily I was done working for the day and did not have any plans to travel or live out of town.So, be weary if your vehicle needs servicing, as it may or may not be done in a timely manner, even with an appointment.

Went to Nelson at the suggestion of a friend who recently bought her car there. Jacob worked really hard to come up with a purchase agreement that I felt comfortable with, and did it without being pushy or high pressure. Would definitely come back in the future.

Went into the service part of the dealership again. My battery was dead the day before, and while driving my car another issue was identified. Even though I didn t have an appointment I was in and out in under two hours with a new battery and an issue resolved I didn t even know about! Thanks again Nelson for being awesome!

I will never go to Nelson Dealership again in grand forks north dakota. They where very rude. Was going to purchase a pickup. I told him I had a pickup to trade in The salesperson didnt get off the chair to go look at it to see it. They didn't even care. He asked me what pickup. I wanted then he kept on asking over and over how much money had to put down so I got sick and tired of it so I left went back to my dealership. It's not like I was buying a 80,000 dollar truck.

I ve been there 3 times so far( 2 oil changes and 1 part replacement) and both time they have been helpful and friendly. And they have also come in at or under the estimate. They have been great in the short time I ve been using them and am looking forward to a long relationship.

Been here a hand full of times for different services, in the past customer service was awful and I was pleased to see with my recent service this has changed. Bree was great, even when I got an attitude at the significant increase with a oil change and tire rotation. I gave a 1 star for the fact that after my tire rotation they didn't tighten my front side lug nuts and my tire about came off when attempting to leave the lot. I was able to come back into service to tell them about this and the service manager Dan did a fabolous job of handling my problem and refunded my oil change and tire rotation. 5 star customer service, 1 star actual service to my vehicle. With this being another bad experience at this location I will be making this my last and getting services done at a different location.

I stopped in this past Friday afternoon (2/23/24) with my buddy who was looking to buy a used vehicle. We drove around the lot a couple times looking at vehicles. We parked at the dealership and walked around the lot a bit looking at vehicles before finally heading inside where we'd heard an advertisement that they were serving free brats & chili. Someone friendly (not sure if employee or not) held the door open for us and greeted us. After that, we walked around the dealership a few times without anyone greeting/meeting us. Due to the lack of interest from salesman, we decided to scope out the food, the brats were gone, but there was a tiny bit or chili. As we were grabbing the last of the chili a salesman walked by and asked us how we were doing. We turned to respond, and as we responded the salesman continued walking to his desk and completely ignored our responds, after that we decided to leave.TLDR: While the name of the dealerships may have switched from Lithia to Nelson, the Lithia attitude/behavior hasn't changed.

This is just my opinion due to the issues I had to go through with this place .don't waste your money here go to rydells or fargo. less u want to take the chance of possibly getting a flooded Vehicles with a clean car fax. if u want to know how they did it follow on me on Facebook @ Paul r Billings. not saying the sale team are bad people just upper mangerment is. andmangerment wontt be honest with u.Now again this is just my experience, that i had to go through .and will never ever go to them or ford . stop and see rydells or go to Fargo the cars will not be over priced like it is here. a customer should have never have to go through what i had to go through.. not only one day but a month and 5 days in a row . I showd up here because the sales Manger give me his word he would make it right. and I believe it yet he did not stand by his word. wasted 5 days of my time that it shouldn't have ever been wasted.I just open adam and his wife looks at all rThe reviews and and clean house for their dreams can come true .
