They rescheduled our service due to the cold which was fine but on the rescheduled day we got the email that they were coming between 8-5 and waited around all day. No call, no text, no show. I called the next morning and the best they could tell me is we ll have someone call you . Extremely disorganized, poor customer service. Have been waiting over 2 weeks now for service. Still waiting for a call back.

Very unsatisfied! I paid for my sisters windshield to get replaced two days ago. Fast forward to that night and she drove to work. The technician didn t close her hood all the way and it blew open on her, shattering the hours old new windshield! They claim to have a lifetime warranty but refuse to replace or refund the money! The only good thing out of this is thankfully my sister didn t get hurt. The picture is the damage the hood caused.

No stars for their moble service. Poor communication. Windshield came in broken. Never reordered a replacment one. Wasted 10 mins of my time just to tell me cant do it, its cracked. I rescheduled and still had to call. The guy never showed. Was so post to call n tell me. But, they had the wrong # on my workorder.

Rude lady at the counter... before I could even say anything she gives me a dirty look and says "I called everyone this morning, we don't have glass sooo..."Okay... I checked my call logs and I never got a call, i tried to tell the counter lady this and she just gave me attitude and kept speaking over me... I really hope a manager sees this, all I was trying to do was make sure she had correct information... since she wasn't honest/correct the first time.

Easy scheduling online. I had a small chip in my windshield. They fixed it in about 45 min. Everyone was friendly. The waiting area is small, and they have coffee and water.

Was reccomended by multiple people to go through this company. Scheduled a mobile appointment and was told they d be here from 8-12. No call, nobody showed up and when I called to get it sorted out nobody knew what was going on. Was told they d get the manager for me 4 separate times with no respond further than that. Very disappointed in the customer service.

Window shattered for no apparent reason just a month after safelite replaced it, should ve been covered under warranty. Instead I waited a week for someone to come check it for the warranty just for them to tell me it can t be determined how it broke so it s not under warranty. Kinda need my window fixed so the waste of time is awesome

Horrible service. Had set appointment time and they never showed up. Tried to find a new appointment time and they were very hard to work with. Found time, dropped car off and was told it would be completed by a certain time. An hour after said time, they had not started on the windshield and expected me to wait 3 more hours until completion.

They keep taking payments out n the glass still is not fixed then I got to wait another week to bring it in yeah it was cold but waiting over a month to get a window fixed is bad service. Next time I guess take it to dealer n get it fixed at least it won't take a month to get fixed.

My overall experience with this Safelite shop was great. It was super easy, convenient, and professional.My vehicle is insured through Progressive with a policy that includes $0 Glass Deductible. All I had to do to get my front windshield replaced was open the Progressive app and schedule an appointment. I opted to have my windshield replaced at their shop instead of having a technician come to where my car is located. I did this to ensure that if they had any issues that required specialty tools they would have close access to them right away.The day I arrived at Safelite at 3:00PM, all I had to do was hand over my keys and sit in their waiting area. They had plenty chairs, a TV tuned to a local channel, a fridge with bottles of water in it, and a nice selection of snacks. After about an hour and fifteen minutes, my car was ready and had a nice new crack-less windshield on the front of it. To my surprise, they even went above and beyond and cleaned my car floors as well.From the front desk receptionist to the actual technician that worked on my car. Everyone was super friendly and easy to work with. Will recommend this shop to anyone who needs their windows fixed.

They did fine replacing the back glass but went ahead and replaced my front windshield wipers and charged my card an extra $60 with out authorization from me. It took 4 days of calling then to get a response and a refund. Poor customer service experience!

This place is a joke. If you have problems and want to talk to a real person you have to go through an automated system that continues to hang up on you and you will never get to talk to a live person. They told me to go to the website so I did and they still didn't reach back to me. Had to call my insurance person before I could finally get somebody on the phone. Here's an update. They replaced my window and put a defective one in there that had blemishes on it and it did not fit the truck properly. So made another appointment. And when I showed up 6 hours later to pick my vehicle up they never once touched it. So now I'm on my 4th appointment for the same dang window. And each appointment has been about a month apart. Save yourself some headache choose a different company cuz if you have problems with something you're last on their to-do list.

The first appt I had, the tech called me to cancel because they needed my windshield for something else. The second appt, the tech was a no show. Very poor customer service all around!!

Unprofessional and unreliable.I had a cracked window and booked replacement in my garage.First time, I waited all morning, the technician simply didn t show up. I did eventually get a call from the franchise. Rebooked for a few weeks later. I was contacted the day before to confirm I have a 3 car garage they can work with.On the day of the appointment, I got a call trying to cancel my appointment. He said he checked I had no garage. Clearly a childish excuse for not want to show up. Eventually he get his way because mine is not heated.This is a legitimate reason I accept. And no guarantee my next appointment will be kept unless I bring my car to the shop. They just need to be professional about they prefer the job done at the shop due to the low temperature reason. And making it a policy not booking any home visits in winter.I cancel my service request with Safelite. First time and last time.

I brought in our Toyota Sienna with a cracked windshield and the team fixed it up in a timely manner and did a fantastic job! I would highly recommend to anyone in need of windshield repair. The employees were also very kind and helpful!

It is impossible to every connect via phone to the local service center. Tried 10 times today and each time got a dead end and told to go to website. Very frustrating.

DO NOT go to Safelite if you have a heads up display on your vehicle. They will screw it up.I took my vehicle to Safelite in early September 2022 to get the windshield replaced. My vehicle has an active driving heads up display that projects into the windshield and as soon as I got into the vehicle I noticed it was not calibrated correctly and it was super blurry and hurt my eyes.I turned around and asked the technician about it and he said they'd have to order a new OEM windshield and try again with that. It is now November 22nd and no one contacted me or anything. I can't even get through their terrible phone system to talk to someone at the store.What a joke of a company. I'll never go here again.Edit: I did try reaching out to their customer service as the reply to this review indicated. I received no response after three weeks from the email system. And I've tried calling in to the local office again and still cannot get a real person on the phone. DO NOT use Safelite if you value your time.Edit 2: After another 2 weeks of waiting the manager from the local Safelite did call me and scheduled a second windshield replacement. This time they did it correctly and the heads up display was restored. However, when I went to pick up the vehicle the battery was dead. They claimed it was dead when they tried to pull it in. But I have a car starter system on it and the notification for a low battery was not sent until 10:38am. At which point it had to have been in their shop, since they sent the email to me that it was finished at 11:00am.I also mentioned several times during both services that I had a ceramic coating professionally installed on the windshield before the accident and they neglected to note it in my file. So when my insurance agent attempted to contact them they claimed that since there were no notes and the coating is an aftermarket install they won't pay for it to be replaced.Again, if you value your time and sanity, DO NOT USE Safelite. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with for repair work.

Don't waste your time with them. I waited 2 weeks to get some glass fixed only to have them call me the day before saying they dont have my VIN# on file so couldn't order the part... even though i replied to their text with my vin the day i made the appointment. They then blame it on me saying i didnt reply to the email they sent also asking for my vin... didnt know i had to be on the lookout for a email asking the same question a second time, clearly someone in parts ordering screwed up by not checking my text and is blaming the customer to the boss.Also when i tried to reschedule, the estimate went up $500.. literally doubled.

Took 3 scheduled trips to get windshield installed. When windshield finally got installed, got call the next morning that they were on the way back to calibrate the lane departure. They never mentioned anything about that the day before when they finished the install and the vehicle was already gone for a 10 hour trip. Was able to get the "10 minute" calibration done in 90 minutes at the destination of the trip. Went to use the windshield wipers for the first time after the windshield replacement and the left wiper and arm went all the way off the windshield and didn't come back because they didn't tighten the arm when reinstalling it. Was told when they rescheduled the second time that they would give me new wipers for the inconvenience. Never got them. Overall, not impressed one bit and would have a hard time recommending them to anyone I like.

Scheduled an appointment a month in advance to have tech come to my house for repair. My window for them to come was 8-12 p.m. At 1:30 p.m I finally decided to leave the house since I didn't get any indication they were still coming. No call or text that they were running late or anything. At 1:40 p.m, I got a text that my technician was on the way. I turned around and went home. Well, he never showed up and I haven't heard anything since. This was 5 days ago. What a waste of time. Similar experience happened to my dad 2 months prior with this same company. I will be letting my insurance company know how unprofessional this company is.

Really bad experience second time booking a windshield replacement for my box truck. First appointment, they called same day said they were short staffed.(understandable)Second time they never called, no show, and lied that they called. We called the regional manager to fix the issue bc the local manager couldn t do his part and figure the problem on his end. Very disappointed and unprofessional.

The overall cost wasnt to bad. They came right to our home. They had it swapped out in no time. There was only 1 problem. Tge rear view mirror was different. We no longer had 1 option. The dim out button wasnt available on the new mirror.

Scheduled appointment for them to come out on the 10th. Paid in full at that time. Immediately received a conformation email for an appointment on the 22nd and for receipt of payment. On the 21st at 2:30 pm(the day before the appointment, mind you) I received a phone call saying that they would not be able to perform the services requested and when questioned the lady calling became very rude. Was told that I can take an appointment for 2 weeks out, but that I must bring the vehicle to them.(It has a shattered windshield, hence making the appointment for them to come out) Nowhere when making the appointment was I told that the vehicle must be brought in. The phone numbers listed lead you to a call bot and get you nowhere. Tried to call the local number and was sent to the same call bot as before. Was also told that I would receive a call from a manager on the 24th. The 24th came and went with no calls. Ended up going to the bank and disputing the charges that they were so happy to take. Please don't waste your time with this company and support a local business.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Apparently you can't call and talk to anybody anymore. Robotic system won't let you get a quote over the phone anymore and only tells you to go to the website and talk to an AI chatbot.
