Keith is absolutely amazing. We live out of town and needed a wheel bearing replaced. We just, showed up and he took our vehicle for a spin to make sure we had the right diagnosis, came back, put it on the lift, verified which side needed to be replaced, got the part and replaced right away. Only waited a couple hours. I didn t think we d get it fixed so fast. We couldn t thank him enough but all he cared about was getting it fixed so we could go home. Pricing is beyond reasonable and even though we live 3 hours away, I will be coming back for any other vehicle issues.

Went in to get a new radiator and get spark plugs replaced. A week later, my vehicle was still throwing misfire codes. On top of that, my coolant all leaked out in a parking lot. It was leaking from a tee that they said they didn't mess with, so I had to pay $250 for that fix. There were other hose clamps I had to replace due to more leaks that "magically" started happening thereafter. I know they tampered with the clamps to get to the spark plugs.I ended up checking the cylinder 3 sparkplug, and it was loose!! No wonder it was throwing codes. Ohh, and every band for my air intake was loose. Nothing was tightened properly. I will not be back.

I've taken 3 of my vehicles to this place for some custom exhaust work. Each time I was highly impressed. Keith does fantastic exhaust work and I'm fairly convinced that there are none better in Bismarck. I'd gladly do business here again. His estimates for me have all been spot-on, so you likely won't be surprised by the bill when the work is done. Check this place out and you won't be disappointed!

Very nice people and very helpful! Can take payments over the phone. Was very close to my apartment. Just wish they worked with some other towers since Dakota Towing is super expensive!!

We called in for an issue we were experiencing while passing through Bismarck and they were able to check things out right away for us and offer us the best service possible. They were incredibly kind and definitely took the needs of the customer into their hands! DO NOT GO HERE! They are advertising alignments on the internet. I called and said I would like an alignment. They said ok. I scheduled for a friday. I brought it in. I signed paperwork for THEM to work on my car. 5 hours later I get my car back! They said they dont do alignments. They said they took it to Ed's alignment to get the work done. They said they had to inspect my car before they sent it over there. I said why? Dont they do it anyways? They said yes but we did it so they dont have to. So they charged me over the amount they quoted me and I did not have my car for 5 hours! Why would I take my car to a place where they DONT DO ALIGNMENTS? So I can pay more? This place is a rip off! Do not go here. BBB should get involved!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Never would I ever recommend Lauer Auto to anyone!! I had him replace the timing belt on my van and it didn t even last 3,000 miles before it blew up the motor so now my vehicle is shot!! Also ironically my air conditioner worked amazing when I took it there and magically a compressor went out on it when I picked it up. I went to him to make good on the timing belt issue and he said he would once we got the work done he decided it wasn t his fault. I don t think they have a clue what they are doing or are just taking advantage of innocent people. What a shame!! I spent thousands of dollars there and 3,000 miles later I m out of a vehicle!!!

We took our Chevy traverse 2010 to get a reluctor camshaft code fixed check engine light was on NO Other LIGHTs and it still ran. An old man worked on the vehicle and explained different stories to me and my wife. When we was due to pick up the vehicle the oil pressure light was on this was not on before I took it there. We paid the place almost 500 dollars and what we ask was not fixed the old guy did something totally different my wife and the kids were in vehicle the day we picked it up from there right before Christmas and it gave out on them. The oil pressure light was blinking since we picked up the car from laurers. Before it gave out we stopped over there and ask them why that light was on and they needed to fix it because it wasn t on before we took it there. Some guy the owner told us another different story now it was the engine. I will not recommend this place to others. Seems like they tend to take advantage of people they don t know on the outs, but give good service to people they know outside their work. Just my impression. The old guy even said well I can take tthe parts out I put on which was one sensor. Our vehicle has a lot loose parts on it now as well. This is wrong and crazy.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I asked for a service they couldn't get to that day, so I dropped my car off early and they said I could get it the next day. They fixed the (multiple) issues within a few hours and called me right back to get it. Friendly service. I especially appreciated that they listened to what my concerns were and explained what they had resolved clearly instead of just shoving a receipt for services over the counter. I will recommend this place to any friends who ask.

They have been in business for a long time, and it most definitely shows. I was here one time, and I will be coming back as well recommending this place to my friends and coworkers. They were honest about the work that needed to be done and what could wait, ran everything by me before it was done, and got the job done fast.

I brought in. 97 suburban with very specific instructions to change the front seal going to the front driver side driveshaft and brakes but if there were any changes or additional issues to stop and call me before performing any additional repairs and to wait on the break repair if there were changes or additional repairs as I would likely scrape the truck. I mistakenly used the word transfer case instead of differential which as the transfer case doesn t have a seal going to the front driver side axel the mechanic should have immediately noticed the discrepancy. The the mechanics doing the inspection checked the front seal on the transfer case which was fine and noticed the rear was leaking which was not on the invoice. The mechanic who took the order disregarded the verbal contract to call me for authorization and had his employees Change the invoice to the rear seal and changed the brakes and didn t even check the front axel which was leaking profusely and would have been impossible to miss as he changed the brakes.when I picked it up they didn t mention any changes or the obvious issue with the differential they just took my money and got me out of the shop as fast as possible. Three days later the front differential locked up and I had to have the vehicle towed. If the mechanic had kept his word and called me before changing the invoice I could have explained the issue instead of him deciding on his own to change the invoice. When I brought up the issue it took days to get the mechanic to return my calls and he refused any refund on the unauthorized repairs and and wanted to charge me more for the differential repairs and would rather go to small claims court than refund one hour labor on the rear seal he wasn t authorized to replace not to mention the breaks he wasn t authorized to replace. I thought they kept their word but I was sorry mistaken. They said they would call if plans changed. They didn t and just wanted to bill me for what they could instead of allowing me to make the decision which parts to replace. Not the shop I thought they were.

Someone here just helped me learn that my Camry's maintenance light was just a timer telling me I needed an oil change, and helped me reset it over the phone. Your expertise saved me the time and possibly money of taking it into a shop. Thank you and keep up the good work.

I was on a road trip from New York to Alaska and had some truck problems come up. When I called, Kevin told me to bring it right down. He showed me exactly what the problems were on my vehicle before doing it, and then fixed them. When they couldn't a part that was no longer made, Kevin worked late to go to a reclamation shop and took the part off another vehicle. He went well above and beyond, and I would highly recommend him to everyone.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! I GOT CHARED OVER $120 TO REPLACE A FUSE (UNER THE HOOD) 15 Cent Fuse Cost Me Over $120? When I Called Them They Never Mentioned To Check The Fuse But Said It Was Probably (I Forget The Name) Something I Couldnt Fix But They Could.. I Understand Labor But My 9 Year Old Daughter Could Have Replaced It! NEVER AGAIN!

These guys took me in on the spot, was in and out with changed wheel bearing and hub assembly in less than two hours. Would highly recommend this place!
