If you know you can trust your mechanic, you have a good thing going on. Providence Auto is our dependable mechanic shop. The owner, Mike goes above and beyond, even for our aging vehicles. You wont be oversold or taken advantage of. I highly recommend this small-town, friendly and honest mechanic shop.

SCAMMERS!They tried to charge me $3000+ on my car, after already charging me that for the last repair. I went to someone else for another opinion, they only charged me $500 for the repairs! They make up reasons to have your car fixed! For all I know, they were messing up my car more so that I would come back! I didn't want to believe it but all of the bad reviews are all true! I am disgusted by how they run their business.

I usually hate going to the mechanic due to me being a young woman and not really knowing much about cars in general, but Providence Auto Care was THE BEST experience I have ever had. They were polite, quick, and honest! I got my air conditioner fixed and did an inspection while I was there as well. Never tried to oversell me on anything or try and tell me something else was wrong with my car. Very affordable as well! Super happy about my experience there, and even though I live in Raleigh, I will definitely be coming back for future car issues.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Air conditioning

I dropped my car off over the weekend, and Mike and his team diagnosed the problem and followed up with me on Monday. They fixed the problem and got the car finished a day ahead of time.They did an excellent job. I ran into Mike as I was picking up the car after hours, and he took the time to tell me how they approached the work that was done, and discussed ways to prevent a future problem.

9-19-19 Great Job Mike and Meriam!Mike worked overtime to complete important repairs to my classic Buick. I highly recommend Providence Auto Care.5-25-18 My 1968 Skylark's A/C was not blowing cold, only slightly cool. Mike found the problem immediately and now COLD! Great job Mike and Steve!

1st visitFair and honest! Very comfortable with their work and diagnosis2nd visittotally honest and reasonable prices. They gave me the repair price and as he looked at the bill, said that doesn't belong, and reduced the bill. That just doesn't happen at most shops!

Mike and his team are truly PHENOMENAL! They installed a custom electronically controlled exhaust system in just a few hours having never even seen that product before. They discovered some unique challenges and found excellent solutions to them. Oh, and they charge a very fair price. I would trust them with any of my future auto care needs. Thank you guys!

My family has 3 older vehicles (30 yrs, 20 yrs and 18 yrs). A neighbor recommended Providence Auto Care about 7 years ago for our older vehicles. We have never been disappointed! Providence has worked on engines, electrical, cosmetic and pretty much anything to do with an aging vehicle and keeping it roadworthy. Their service is worth the drive from Wake Forest to their shop in Youngsville! I used Mike and his Team before for all our other services and they did a wonderful job. We moved here a few years ago and I wanted to find a mechanic that had the same character and values as my old mechanic in another City.I had some troubles with an older model vehicle circa 1995 and they identified the problem and fixed it as expected, and I have not had any troubles with it. They are honest about pricing and will make sure that any customer is aware of what the services will be that are performed prior to pricing.

This place reminds me growing up watching my dad work. These guys are awesome, and upfront with you. They fixed a mistake from another mechanic and was so kind with me needing the inspection done 1st that morning. As well as recommended from guys my husband knows. Performed the annual inspection. Hardly any wait. Always professional. Had my car in the shop for about a week and a half which we expected. My wife and I were given updates as the work progressed. Had no issue with anything. Highly recommend Providence auto. I am so thankful someone recommend these guys. I took it in, and they gave advice about my clutch. Not just what would make them more. The cost was not as much as I expected my dad being a mechanic in a bigger city, I know a base on what it would cost back home. Then came in under the estimate so another plus for being efficient as well. I was 100% blown away by them. Thank you guys so very much for your kindness and honestly. I am coming back!

The owner and workers was very knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter was in the process of buying a SUV from a dealer and before purchasing, she took it to Providence Auto Care. I highly recommend Providence Auto Care because they get my car problems fixed and fixed properly. They are very trustworthy and very pleasant to deal with. What else can I say? Providence consistently provides outstanding service that goes above & beyond my expectations. I would not hesitate to send my kids to them with an issue with their cars and tell them whatever Mike says you need, listen to them. I trust their ethics, which is huge in this industry. Once again, Providence does not disappoint. I may not always like the diagnosis that they give, but I know I can trust it. This is the way an Auto repair shop ought to run.

This is my chosen mechanic when I need something done. They are quick, cheap, and honest about their work. I ve for sure thrown them a curve ball a couple times wi the my car but they ve always found a way to come through
