Giving them 2 stars is me being nice! The only one who deserved the 2 stars is the son and the mechanics, otherwise I'd give them 0 stars if I could. This place needs to get rid of the dad (older guy) (he works the front desk and the phone) he is the absolute rudest person I've ever dealt with in customer service. Don't expect him to call you. You will need to constantly call in to hear any update whatsoever and the older guy even laughed at me for my troubles. The story is about a year or two ago, I towed my Jeep to them, and they repaired it with a bad or faulty item. That means I had to have it towed to them again, they refused to eat the second tow cost (Total of $240 in tow cost at this point). This annoyed me since I believed it was on them, but I get it, the part was faulty but then when I asked the older guy to, he laughed at my situation and was very rude. He even was annoyed I kept calling for updates every other day or so. Without the older guy there, I'd probably give them 4 to 5 stars, older guy needs to go, or I suspect your business will.

Took me four times to get four very bad experiences. Shame on me. James is rude and I don t need to hear his politics. Put wrong size brake shoes on, constant rubbing noise. Tried to charge for a new transmission one time when all it needed was a $20 gasket. The mechanic I go to now says he wouldn t let them sharpen his lawnmower blade.

James and josh are some of the most honest people I know. And they do good work. If you are having car troubles take it to them and they will get it repaired.

Took my car there two days ago for an inspection and it broke down two days later due to a part that was removed. This is very sad that they sabotage your vehicle so you will return for them to repair. They used to be a good dependable place I don t know what has happened to them to become this way. I felt something was wrong when I saw a young man and Mr. James have my hood open during the inspection and closed the door once they noticed I was watching. Also Mr James used to be kind and respectful now he is just ugly and rude for no apparent reason. Also charged more than the legal inspection fee required by the state law. Find someone else people they cannot be trusted anymore

I've known the Roe's a long time. As I was heading to town for a vets appointment, a sensor said one of my tires was low. I asked James if he could help me out really quick and he sure did. I appreciated the last minute fix!

The Roe family and their employees take great care of our cars. They usually call with an estimate before beginning repairs, and we really appreciate that. They aren't the least expensive auto repair shop in Yadkinville, but they've been in business a long time because folks know they can be trusted.

These guys were life savers after having a stripped drain plug and all my oil leaking out. Had my vehicle towed here late one evening and got a call by 10am the next day that it was ready to go! Friendly, honest, fast, and affordable.

Ask for oil change and was charged $21.50 for antifreeze on top of oil change without being asked about adding any .. low coolant light was not on! Car was not hearing, ac and heat worked fine.. Questioned it and was told very rudely " that's how we do it here, we either do it right or we don't do it" NONE OF MY VEHICLES WILL GO BACK HERE!

My husband took his eclipse to have it looked at. The older man behind the counter was bothered that he even had to interact with a customer. My husbands car was smoking out of the sides of the engine and asked if he could come see where the smoke was coming from so he could relay that info to the mechanics and the man could care less. He was very rude. He was walking away from my husband the whole time he was trying to explain what was happening with his car. He didnt ask for the keys and my husband had to remind him to take them. We dropped it off Friday morning and we re told it would be Monday before they could look at it. Monday came and went, no call. I called Tuesday and once again the man was rude. He told me they didn't get to the car and he had no idea when he can after we were told it would be Monday. Tuesday came and went, no call. Wednesday came and went no call. So we took our car elsewhere. They are taking advantage of being the only mechanic inside town limits and are very rude to customers. Bad business practice

My girl brought her car for an alignment and they said she had a bad ball joint so they could not do the alignment bit i myself checked the front end and replaced a tie rod end. I have done many alignments myself and know that everything was good. Charged $35 for nothing. Totally dishonest.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Thought they were honest people. They lined my car up and inspected it. But failed to tell me I needed tires! And have an exhaust leak?? So hard to trust people today!!! Just won't go back! Not to mention they had my car in there shop twice! People please!

Replaced front rotors on my Sonata and charged me $400 claiming they had a lifetime warranty. No one I called afterwards said they put on lifetime rotors.

We have been seeing James and his crew for years! We have always had wonderful service. As a woman taking a car to be fixed, I never feel like I am being sold something I don t need or treated like I don t know anything about my car. I really appreciate that!!

Honest, helpful staff. Had to pull over during a road trip, car said it was overheating but when checked it wasn't. They took it in as a walk in, verified it wasn't overheating. Diagnosed the problem, but didn't have needed parts. Did not charge a dime. Great business.

James is friendly. The crew that's done work for me has been quick on getting me in every time through. Most of all I appreciate no bogus claims of my car needing unnecessary engine work or frivolous parts just to pass inspection. And I haven't had the rude arrogance of nosey mechanic(s) getting in places they don't belong or going where they've not been asked to go when I just go in for oil change or inspection. I've been hassled at some other mechanics shops but not at YCC. I've even been to a mechanic shop that put cheap oil in my car even though I furnished to him my own oil - I caught him cheating me because I had a bad feeling and went to check. I go to James @ YCC now.

Took care of my brake needs and were the only ones who diagnosed a different important issue I had. They showed me the worn brake pads and the other issue so I knew it wasn't false. I appreciate them.

So last week i bought spark plugs and took it to them to put in the spatk plugs cost 108 dollars. All i needed them to do is put them in my vehicle they charged me 365 dollars to put spark plugs in and service wjivh consist of oil a fluids. And inspection which was over charged. This week a coil goes out i get that miss fire has new plugs. But what i do not get the guy old man told the antifreeze was good to -25 degrees but that would of worked if there was some in it. Its only been 8 days it was bone dry no leaks. I could of blew up my engine and crack the block or blow head gasket. Please do not tale it to those rip offs. I will turn them in to better business bureau too.

This place blatantly lied and told me a computer they installed over a year ago had a recall on it. They claimed Chrysler was on them hard to fix it. It was all a scam to get my truck in their possession in order to collect a debt that I disputed. I disputed a part of my bill because they never fixed the simple issue of the passenger windows not working. They kept my truck 3 of the first 4 months I owned it, and kept claiming it was fixed. They even claimed it again after they lied to me about a Chrysler recall.Want a honest mechanic? Then go elsewhere.
