We bought a truck from them. We had a wonderful experience and we are very satisfied with our purchase and what we paid for it. We had been looking for a place to do regular maintenance and other work on our vehicles. The search is over. Nesters automotive will be our go-to from here on. They were friendly and respectful and extremely knowledgeable about mechanics. Try this place out and you won't want to go anywhere else! They also sell Case knives!

I've been going to this place for nearly a year. Some of the work that has been completed on my Jeep, has been:1. Rotors2. Brakes and Calibers3. Oil Changes4. Alignment5. Car Sales ConsultingThey do great work with competitive prices! They have quite the selection of antique stuff. They can also work on Audi's! John, to owner, is a very nice man, with intelligence and professionalism. All of which is why I travel from High Point to him.The photo is the only photo I have on my phone, currently. It sort of shows you the area.Update, as of October 2022 I am still going to the same mechanic.

I am a female traveling from Florida to West Virginia and encountered a terrible rain storm. I hydroplaned, hit the median, and damaged my front end and tires. I waited until Nester's opened and the two gentlemen there were just awesome. I was a mess, my Kia was a mess, and I had my dog with me. They were so very nice, quick, knowledgeable, explained the damage very well, and helped me get on my way. The price was fair, especially under the circumstances. I strongly recommend Nester's. If I lived in this area, they would be my mechanics.If you like antiques, especially cars, this is a nice place to visit, too.

Messaged Nester's today to see about having a idle relearn procedure done on my pickup due to having had changed the throttle body out on it.John had 3 customers in the shop lobby who were enjoying themselves chatting about and I witnessed the customer service provided to one of the 3 customers and it was courteous and professional.Within 5 minutes of my arrival, John and I were at my truck taking care of the issue.15 minutes later, I left with a smile and a properly working truck. John walked back to the shop to take care of more work with a new customer in his pocketWould recommend!

Honest folks that will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your repair. With my daughter's BMW, they diagnosed and repaired the issue and gave her advice on how important the maintenance is on her vehicle. Replaced the brakes on my Nissan Titan and did a great job! I highly recommend them.

Broke down (broken strut and spring) on our way back to Canada. Nester's was the only one open on a Saturday and came to our help. They had to order parts (not available during the weekend). Their work was exemplary and the repair price very reasonable, we found ourselves lucky to have such honest people. The repair was quick and professional and for proof we drove 14 hours straight to Canada without any problems. Thanks again to John, Dakota and his team.

Our car stopped running in bumper to bumper traffic while on our home to CT from SC. The tow truck took us to Nesters Automotive. We absolutely expected an overnight stay an may $$$. Mr. Moore and the other mechanic took an immediate look, figured out the issue and after $17 sent us on our way. After another 14 hours of driving we had no issues whatsoever. These gentlemen could have easily stuck us for many more dollars. Their honesty and integrity mean so much. This is the place to go if you need an honest mechanic.

We brought in an old Lexus and they fixed it at a very reasonable price. They are polite and honest. We ll be bringing our vehicles back here for sure.

We were passing through town 2 hours away from home when our check engine light turned on. We stopped in to this place because they were right off the highway and could not have been more pleased. The friendliness, expertise, and honesty were refreshing and appreciated in a stressful time. I would recommend this team to anyone.

John replaced the water pump and timing belt in our older Ford Ranger when he first opened. We purchased our son a truck a few months ago and the ac needed to be repaired. I called John before we purchased the truck to get his opinion and cost for the ac repair. He did the work a few weeks later and now our son has cold ac. John is always honest with us about what needs to be done and I trust him with our vehicles. That s why he is the one we call for all our repairs.

John the owner worked on my cars before he ever had the shop. He never would charge me to change the oil or to put on the parts I needed. Instead he would charge me only for the parts. I have had many endeavors with other mechanics over the past 1 year and a half,and to say the least those other mechanics did me very dirty. I would trust John and his team with anything when it comes to my car. If there shop wasn't 3 hours away from where I live now, nesters automotive would be my top pick! The next vechile i purchase will definitely be from his car lot!!

Nice honest people,that will be straight up with you,on what your car does, doesn't need. He beat alot other prices for oil change! He come to me whenever car battery died,took it fix and brought car back,excellent people!

My car went to them 3 times over the period of a month. First time was to check for source of burning oil smell and get an oil change. 2nd was for 2 catalytic converters. 3rd was to have a 2nd coil pack put on in the same area a previous coil pack had been replaced about 2 months ago. It almost went back a 4th time because another code for the same area as the coil pack and catalytic converters that had previously been worked on was saying timing issue but also stated possible bad or low oil. Instead I took it to someone else. We had to stop on the way to put almost 2 qt of oil in to make it to the destination, where they put another 3 qts and rest of the other qt in. He said the oil that was left was very dark, dirty and old. He stated that you can see where the new filter was put on but no way oil was ever put in or if it was, was only a qt. Yes, I do have a small leak on the valve cover gaskets which was confirmed as small, and said it never would've leaked 5 qts in 900 miles. He also stated that because of the dirty oil and lack of the right amount of oil he fully believes this is why my coil pack went out again. Needless to say I am out the $200 for the oil change and the coil pack replacement, and also for the cost of 5 qts of oil. The owner does not want to accept the possibility of the mistake and writes it off as "it must be a pretty bad leak, 5qts seems far fetched, and says is because the valve cover gaskets were not replaced" yet was also told they did not need to be done right away and could wait. I personally along with 2 others watched the 5 qts of oil be put in, and could have locked up my motor. I have driven 300 miles since the new oil was put in it, which is 1/3 of the 900 miles driven that supposedly according to the owner here said the 5qt leaked out, and the oil has not moved on the dipstick yet, with his theory it should be at least 1-2qt low currently. Highly upset, not getting any reimbursements, and won't be going back. By the way the current coil pack is fine, never said its bad again. I said the coil pack had to be replaced. I also only declined the valve cover gaskets because I was told it was not needed at the time and could wait. By no means is the leak even leaving puddles on the ground or bad enough to loose 5qt of oil in 900 miles! By the way my children have Christmas, low blow to bring kids into this. I'm by far not lying. I trusted you and was crapped on period. Glad you are so great to others.

Brought my car in to get brakes changed left with no brakes at all. I had a mercury mariner hybrid, I was not told that they didnt know how to work on hybrids and it completely messed up my hydraulic control unit, after 1k it finally got fixed. Nice people just wished they would have told me prior that they didnt specialize in hybrids.

I drive out of town to get work done here -- I got tired of local guys ripping me off because I know nothing about cars. These guys are HONEST. Fair prices, and only the work you need instead of overpriced repairs on functional systems. If they say it needs fixing, it does. Can't recommend highly enough.
