My truck broke down 10 miles from Richie s. I was not in a great mood. I was towing my work enclosed trailer had to leave on the side of the highway. I got to Richie s and my mood started to improve. Shawn was awesome. Very personable,hard working. She got my truck fixed and out of there to get my trailer within 3 hours. I ll go back and refer anyone to Richie s

Left a handicapped driver on the side of the road and never called back to tell me they cancelled the call. After waiting 2 hours I had to call to find out. Do not use this company. Especially if you a disabled vet

I wish I could give 10 stars. We were put in contact with Richie's through my Verizon roadside assistance app, and couldn't have been more fortunate or found anyone better to help even if we'd had close family right down the road. We'd had a flat tire on a trip from Washington DC back home to Columbia SC while a really nasty storm was barreling down upon us. The spare was iffy, and the items I had available to change the tire were not the kinds of things you want to fight with while you're trying to hurry in a windy lightning storm. Whoever invented a tire iron that's barely a foot long should be a shamed of themselves. Anyway, Verizon contacted Richie's via the app, which gave us a 90 minute wait time, but my wife called and spoke with someone at Richie's, and Mychal got there in about 10 minutes, who got us safe safe in another 5 minutes. I couldn't be more thankful to them for getting us out of that situation in such a hurry. Thank you to everyone who helped! I'm still sorry he had to come out in that mess to help us, but I'm certainly glad he was able, willing, and had the equipment to make the task much faster, and safer than I could have ever hoped for. The card I was given said I would get an email from AAA so I could write a review, but I guess since it wasn't through AAA, that didn't happen, and I didn't want to go without saying thanks for the help somehow,somewhere, so here I am. Someone give Mychal a raise, and a hearty pat on the back, as far as my wife, myself, and our dog are concerned, he went above and beyond to help us, and I definitely appreciate it!

I broke down on I-95 and called AAA for a tow. They connected me with this place, who informed me that there was only room for one of us in the tow truck and that the other could get an Uber or Lyft. Excuse me? We're on the freeway. We even checked in the Uber app and could not get a car to pick up on I-95.

My experience with Richie's was awesome!!! My driver confirmed it was me that was stranded and then was able to give great advice in order to fix the problem with my vehicle. Thank you Ryan Godwin! I appreciate the advice. Be safe out there.

These people left an Amazon driver stranded and refused to help change a flat tire on one of the Amazon vans. The tow driver cursed at the Amazon dispatcher and was extremely rude. Do not use these ill-mannered people.

My tire blew out Wednesday morning at12:30 AM and my insurance company originallycontracted a different company who hadMe waiting for over an hour only to cancel..Then they contracted Richie s and my driverLived near Fleming Stadium and arrived in10 minutes. He waited until my friend gotThere to give me a ride home. ExcellentService that uses new looking trucksI ended up in Parkers parking lot and amGrateful Richie s showed quickly becauseParkers called the police on me when IEnded up in their huge empty parkingLot.Sincerely,David. Today's tow was no different, Mychal was quick and professional, made sure I was good before leaving me and my vehicle!!!!Richie's has been dispatched several times to assist me with towing and a wench out..each time the level of service, the speed, and professionalism of the drivers as well as the dispatcher(s) at Richie's has been awesome!!! Whenever I have to call in for a tow I have my fingers crossed hoping I get Richie's and if I ever have to call for a tow myself Richie's will definitely be my 1st call!

Had them assigned for roadside assistance through USAA. They canceled my request when I tried to update the location with a HWY exit. The teenager on the phone was obtuse and rude and then hung up on me after saying he canceled my roadside request. Completely unacceptable.

Awful experience with this towing company, would give 0 stars if I could. I was traveling from out of town by myself and my car broke down on the side of the highway. After calling AAA, they contracted Richie's Automotive and Cycle Connection Inc. to come give me a tow. I was alone and felt very unsafe and since I was 2 hours away from home I needed to ride with the tow truck driver to the shop. Richie's called me to get my location so they could send a tow truck and I told them I needed to ride in the truck with the driver. They said I had to have my physical vaccination card with me. I informed them that I was traveling from out of town and did not have it, however that I DID have a photo of my vaccine card on my phone, that I am triple vaccinated, and that I have a mask that I can wear as well. They said that was not enough and that I had to have a physical copy present. I asked what I was supposed to do then, how am I supposed to get anywhere when I am stranded and have no other ride? They said uber or Lyft. I'm sorry but I am a young woman and I was not going to be picked up on the side of a highway from a place I've never been before by some random uber driver. Triple A even called Richie's and talked to the owner and explained the whole situation and they would not help me out. Waited on the side of the road for 3 hours by myself until another company could come get me. Would not recommend!

I was connected to Richie's Roadside Assistance service through my Insurance company this morning and I am very well pleased with the customer service I received today. First, the dispatch that I spoke with was more than happy in my opinion to help me with a stop that I need to make before getting to the place where my vehicle was by finding out how far out the driver was in order that I might make my stop. Secondly, when the driver, Mr. Mychal arrived he asked the necessary question to get the information needed to move the car, but to me the most important question he asked was, "DID I HAVE A RIDE HOME?" Then he said all I need is the key and I left. I say all that to say this, they were nothing but nice, polite, courteous and caring and I pray God would bless them abundantly.And by the way Mr. Mychal is a handsome young man too boot, LOL!!!

I gave this high rating because. When I called Blue Link my emergency road provider for my Hyundai. They got in touch with Richie"s and they was in touch with me within 10 minutes of me calling Blue Link. There office called and stated that they would have someone come take care of my problem.. Five minutes later a a technician called me to get my right location. When he arrived he was very professional and checked out the problem. He found out that I needed a new battery. I asked what there a good location close by to get a battery. And he stated that I have one in my truck that is compatible to the one you have in your vehicle.. To make a long story short, from the time I called Blue Link until I was able to start my journey for the rest of the day it was only 40 minutes.. So I can only say that was awesome service and professional person doing the work and I'm sorry I forgot his name.

Unfortunately, one night last week a deer ran out in front of my car and the car was wrecked. I m a AAA member, so the next day I called them to have it towed. They sent Richie s Automotive and the gentleman who drove the roll-back was named Craig. He was most courteous and polite to me, as well as being very, very skilled in removing my car from the wreck site and towing it to the place I have chosen for it to go. I can not imagine anyone doing a better job! Most grateful for Richie s hiring quality personnel and doing quality work. Thank you!Shannon

The Tow/Recovery Technician ( Mark ) was very professional and worked safely alongside a busy interstate while ensuringmy vehicle was loaded with great care.Once Richie s Automotive was contacted byMy Insurance company Mark called me immediately and was onsite almost immediately. This was my second time needing my vehicle towed and Richie s really shined today.I d like to add I ve been furloughed during the pandemic and today was only my 2nd day being around others and I ve been worried about returning to the workforceand was relieved to see Mark was following social distancing and was wearing a maskto safe guard his customers.

I had a tire fail a couple of weeks ago while on the highway. Moments after calling for roadside assistance, Craig contacted me and let me know he was on his way. Call it luck, but I have never received roadside assistance this quickly! Craig was extremely professional and an incredibly nice guy! Thank you for making a bad situation the best it could be.

I got stranded on the highway when a shop in j Jacksonville NC criss threaded my lug nuts. They came out waited until my ride arrived so I want standing on the side of the road on the highway and then fixed my car for a reasonable price and quickly. Thanks!

My fiancee broke down on the side of the road in our 2017 Kia Forte due to a bad radiator between Tarboro & Rocky Mount. We attained service with Richie's through Kia roadside service under warranty. It was memorial day and we were concerned they wouldn't find anyone available. We were given an ETA of within the hour by Kia, and Richie's was there within 20 minutes. The team member who assisted us was Craig who was courteous and very professional. He was on the scene and taking photographs at every angle of our car in no time. We handed off the key and got a ride from a relative home. Our car was taken to the dealership for service without hassle. The whole experience was professional and rather seamless. I definitely recommend Richie's for towing and would use them again. Thank you!

I do not live in Wilson but found myself needing a tow while I was there. I used my AAA membership and you never know who you will get. Eddie from Richie's showed up promptly, took the time to look into my engine and tell me what was going on, and even took photos of the problem for me so that I could show the mechanic who had supposedly "fixed" my car the day before. I could not have been happier with his professionalism and kindness. I only wish I lived in Wilson so that I could take my car to Eddie at Richie's.

I recently did a 4 star but didn't mean to at all please forgive me this is a 5 star car salesman place. I highly appreciate them to the fullest i had nothing to drive call them and it wasn't nothing but a word. So i do and would recommend anyone who needs a ride to check them out. They will help you out and stand behind there cars if something happens. Richie's youll the best.

I recently had a car repaired that had been sitting for a while. Richie's let me know exactly what it needed but more importantly, they let me know that it didnt need all the things I thought it needed. They saved me a lot of money! Some places would have just done it so I'm thankful for Richie's integrity.

AAA sent these people to change my tire3 hours later they arrived and were not helpI was missing one part of my jack and they refused to use theirs unless i pay them money.They wouldn't help and left me stranded on i95 in a very dangerous situation. Hopefully AAA will remove them from their list of service people

These people should be ashame of their self selling cars that breaks down two days later and expect a payment charge you for towing a car you just purchased and maybe just maybe a little lineancy on the part your car might need. And have the audacity to give there ownselves five stars these people are pathetic I wouldn't recommend these people to anyone.

Richie's sent a great driver to tow my car after I hit a 10 Point Buck in Edgecomb County. Vertis was professional, helpful, and very kind after a terrible accident. Thanks so much, to everybody at Richies, especially Vertis!
