The people that work at this shop are amazing! I feel that they really care about their customers and do an excellent job, not only with their customer service, but also everyday in their work in everything they do. . Steve really took the time to help me understand my cars needs and went above and beyond to explain everything in details that I was able to understand. I ve never felt that they try to charge me for things that I don t need. They are very clear and honest, even about their pricing which is something I really appreciate and value. I have had no issues at all with this shop at all and I ve brought my car here many times. I highly recommend them if you re looking for auto repair company. They are a great choice and business.

I have 2 cars, both serviced at Wilmington Tire and Auto for several years. They are so easy to reach and always accommodating. My tires are always maintained carefully and completely, making me feel secure on the highway. That feeling of security is so important, especially in the era of high speed interstate highways and impatient drivers. Thank you Wilmington Tire! You guys are the best.

Here is a local company that really loves serving their customers. I always feel so welcome and appreciated when I go for service. Aside from that, they do great work and are honest. I started going in because they are close to my home, but I keep going back because I really like the staff. Steve is my service advisor and he really goes out of his way to help me when I need to get in in a hurry. I recommend them to all my friends and family.

Really attentive, positive folks. They are efficient and sensitive to your time. The waiting room is clean and well appointed. The staff is polite and definitely understands customer focus. This is my third time here and they are my go to.

They are absolute angels. I was running late because my relief at work was 30 minutes late. They still squeezed me in for 4 new tires and an alignment 30 minutes before close. I called several locations and they had the best possible pricing and location had a nice waiting area that was clean and welcoming. As a young, single woman I worry a lot about car stuff because I ve been treated really poorly / attempted to manipulate me in the past but I m glad to say there is no sign of this behavior at Wilmington tire and auto. Your daughter is safe to come here alone and walk out with the same great deal dad would have gotten! So thankful for the kind, welcoming and HONEST employees here. Thank you Wilmington tire for the great experience.

I had accidentally blown a tire at 7am the other day and needed an immediate fix as I live on the road. They quickly got me in and a new tire and did an oil change and tire rotation for me all that morning. The girl at the front desk was also really nice and helpful!

Had an issue with a right front strut rattle. Checked with Steve at the front desk and he actually took the time to ride with me down a close by bumpy road and we determined the problem. Steve and the rest of the team there really care about you as a customer, they are friendly and walk the walk. So, 5 stars to them. They earn and deserve your business.

Best experience I've ever had with an auto repair shop. Honest workers who will shoot you straight with your situation. Won't try and sell you something you don't need, and for what they do work on, it's reasonably priced. Highly recommend asking for Steve Huffman when you go!

Brought Bronco here for more tire work & they did a great job. This was after they did a full set of 35s & lift kit on my new Bronco. Its the only place I go for tires & they're transparent on pricing.

They really came to the rescue when my tire blew out while I was traveling. They were really organized, friendly, and they were able to replace all four of my tires within about 60-90 minutes of me arriving there.

I called ahead and asked how long it might take to fix (replace) one flat tire, since I knew I d need a new one. I was told 45-1 hour if they had it, so I said great and came in. Gave all my info and was told the same wait time, so I sat and waited for about an hour and 15 minutes. I saw them take my car into the shop about halfway through. Then they call me up to the front after over an hour of waiting and tell me they a) don t have that tire in stock and to get it from another store will be an additional hour b) they can t patch it because of the location of the nail, and c) that they re adding an additional tire that I didn t ask for as well as alignment that I also didn t ask for, and that my total would be $450. I walked right out and drove my tire to another place, where they saw me IMMEDIATELY, told me they COULD patch it, and when I asked for a new one anyways they only charged me $60. I am extremely disappointed in the time I wasted in Wilmington, especially because I had family I wanted to go see. EDIT: I didn t ask for a patch. I didn t expect them to patch and possibly leave me with an unsafe tire. It was wrong for them to wait an hour and 15 minutes to tell me they didn t have the tire. Should ve been the first thing.

Steve,Justin and the crew are awesome. Dealing with the public can be difficult as we all know. I think the tire industry is one of the toughest .no one goes to a tire business happy about replacing tires. It can be unexpected and very expensive. These guys juggle problems all day long and it takes backbone to handle numerous issues they are presented with. I have had nothing but outstanding service from Wilmington Tire & Auto

I trailered my boat from Charlotte to spend the weekend at the beach. Upon arrival I realized my driver side tire was very loose. I put my boat in the water and dropped my trailer off at Wilmington tire and auto.David an outstanding customer service hero was able to quickly locate a new axle for me. He and his coworker Zack, the mechanic from heaven, were able to fix the trailer on a Friday evening and get me back up and running so I wasn t stranded in the water.When I picked up the trailer after hours Zack even took his personal time to show me what had happened with my axle and give me advice to avoid issues in the future.Thank you Wilmington tire and auto! And thank you David and Zack!

Recently took my car in for an inspection and oil change. Also requested my window be fixed, as it would not roll up and down. Due to it being close to Christmas, it was my intention to use my CFNA card for payment. TWO employees assured me prior to me dropping my vehicle off, that was an option for payment. While the services that were recommended to me were not pertinent to my car passing inspection, it was decided that these also be performed for safety reasons. They had my car for 3 days awaiting parts to be delivered and the final cost for all services was $1700 - thank goodness I had my CFNA card to use. Excited to pick up my car and thankful for Wilmington Tire and Auto for taking such good care of my car, I was told my CFNA card was now NOT accepted and I had to figure out how to pay for services right before Christmas (needed my money for obvious reasons)Brandon, a WT&A employee states Sorry about the confusion. We actually reached out to CFNA about this. Apparently, CFNA is in the middle of getting new cards out to the customers and now the old cards will not let us process a transaction, plus we will only be able to process a select amount of the CFNA cards with the update being done. Have a Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas to me.

Had A temperature problem on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee indicated by the temperature indicator pegged. Opened the hood and found the water pump shaft wobbling. Also found the shaft problem was causing the serpentine belt to move slightly causing it to fray on one side.Had the car towed to Wilmington Tire & Auto and explained what I had found and waited for a phone estimate. The phone estimate was for around $1,100 to replace the water pump, the thermostat, serpentine belt and flush the cooling system. This seemed high to me, and I questioned the price. The technician on the phone, who was very nice, went and talked with someone and a concession of $200 was made, this being cheaper parts and a 6-month warranty rather than 12-months. I reluctantly conceded to the work.When I went to pay and pick up the car I noticed I was charged $46.15 for the thermostat which typically costs much less. The person that was sent to talk to me about this was immediately defensive and said the entire thermostat and housing were changed and that explained the $46.15. I had opened the hood to show to him that the housing was not changed (The housing was old and dirty) but looked as though the thermostat had been changed, based on wrench marks on the holding nuts. He didn t appear to want to look or discuss the issue. I, in frustration, gave up and drove home.The images attached show the thermostat housing currently on the car. It doesn t look like the hose was disconnected from the assembly, and it is obvious that the assembly is not new and was not changed.Granted, this difference in costs between the entire thermostat and housing and just the thermostat was minor, but I already felt the repair was costly and I expected that all that was said to be done, was done.All parts had an approximate markup of 40%.Labor prices were determined with a standard labor guide for the industry. In my case for example, the removing of 2 nuts at the thermostat location, pulling the thermostat out, putting the new thermostat back in and putting the nuts back on cost $179.20I have been happy with Wilmington Tire & Auto on all past services, only oil changes, but would not go to them in the future for repairs.

Steve and the team at WT&A saved the day when we weren t sure we were going to be able to make a trip the next day. They worked us in, did the diagnostics, kept us engaged every step of the way and set us straight for the trip. Can t recommend enough. Thanks guys!!

I had some trailer tires I needed filled as the seals had broken and I couldn't refill on my own. Small job but Steven got me taken care of - his customer service was on point and I also appreciate the folks in the shop that got right to it. It's nice to find places that go above and beyond- I will be back when it's time for tires for my car and I would definitely recommend them to others.Service: Tires

Great experience with Wilmington Auto and tire. Was getting an inspection and they showed me tire damage on 3 tires which I suspected on at least 2 of the tires. They were able to get 4 new tires mounted and balanced for a great price within 2 hours. Tire price was lower than if I tried to buy the same tire at Tire Rack. Awesome experience can t say enough good things.Service: Tires
