These guys are great. They work their tails off servicing our cars. And I'll bet for little pay, but they all great you with a smile and get right to work, and they are fast in and out within 20 minutes and very reasonable prices. They have business from now on. I think my service manager was Paul.

I'm a bit late with this review as I went there last month but it was a super fast, efficient experience from kind, polite staff who didn't make me feel badly about driving an older car nor judged when I asked about an oil change special to save money. I thought I'd need someone to pick me up and before I could make a call they were already done and asking if I had questions! It's been a month, no issues and I highly recommend them.

I went there to get an state inspection and 10 minutes or more into inspection the guy comes to me and stated they can not do inspection because my car have a plastic under lining. I told him they did it last year and he gave me a run down of that is why they have all new staff. Worst excuse I have ever heard. I just hope that they have not done anything to my car. The inspection never failed they stated that they could not lift my car because of the plastic under lining because your lift is not design for it. According to your service tech they did not do an inspection.

As a military veteran attention to detail is key and this location never disappoints. I live 30 miles from Wilmington and have been coming to the Valvoline location for 7 years. Today they only had two workers when they first opened. The assistant manager Lee and Garrett were both on top of things even thought they were short staffed. The customer service didn't decline, the attention to detail was awesome, they were very professional, and courteous. Job well done as usual Valvoline Wilmington !!!

The men here suck, made me feel belittled and dumb. Sorry I don t know anything about cars but that s why I pay you to do it. I had 2 things wrong with my car and they laughed at my suffering for both issues while I m fuming. Wouldn t recommend!!

Love this location of Valvoline! I stopped in about a week ago needing an oil change, inspection, and my tires checked due to my tire pressure light being on. Garret took my vehicle in right away and finished my services in a timely manner. I will definitely return to this Valvoline!

These guys always do a great job. They also do it quickly! They are not super cheap, but on the whole it's reasonable. Keep up the good work guys!

Went in at 6pm and it wasn't busy at all. The guys Paul, Ian and Parker were so incredibly nice! They even took extra time to talk to my 85 year old Mother, which made her day because she loves people!They did a great job on my car and explained everything to me. I've gone here for years and this is why. Great service and great staff!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Been bringing my wife's car here for a while, they've always done a great job. They know I'm particular about things, like wanting to know how the oil looks coming out, putting the sticker on my receipt and such. Definitely recommend this location, they've always been respectful and good at what they do.

Big white dude with light brown beard doesn t do his job didn t even verify what oil I wanted and had an awful attitude. Go to any other valvoline in Wilmington and they will treat you better.

Not one to normally write bad reviews but this Vavoline has really left me and my family in a hard place. Received an oil change from them on my way home from North Topsail Beach. I knew one was needed and stopped by there with the new car I just recently purchased. I received nice service (so I thought) just to drive home to Virginia and my check engine light came one. I had a notable mechanic check it out and they said I had no oil on the dipstick. Fast forward I call my dealership about the issue and was encouraged to continue to put oil in my car until the light came back on. A few weeks past and no luck but my car was clearly leaking oil. I take to my dealership at their urgent request in hopes of finding the issue. They told me that as they tried to perform oil change and diagnostic they found that the oil plug was double gasket which caused the oil pan to crack. No one at Vavoline mentioned doing this or seeing this prior to servicing me. Essentially my dealership let me know this is human error but they should have notified me. In my invoice from the dealership they noted that Vavoline overtightened the drain plug and cracking the oil pan trying to stop the leak. When the lifted my car up the engine undercarriage was soaked with oil and and the felt was saturated.What gets me is I call to file a claim and spoke with the area manager (Ben) who mentioned he had to PULL FOOTAGE for next steps and would call me back Monday or Tuesday of this week. I never received a call Monday so I reach out to Customer Support Tuesday just to be told he was on vacation but he would call me back Wednesday. No call by 3 pm Wednesday so I reach back out and support connects us. On our call he pretty much said there was nothing that would do to fix because the person who did my oil change has a clean record and has been with them for years. I asked about the footage and he said THERE WASN T ANY. I ask how can they determine this decision them and essentially he really has no explanation besides how the company personally feels about the employee. After this I asked to escalate to his manager because none of this makes sense: I also requested in writing a policy or procedure on how issues like this are handled. He still had no response and said he would escalate to his manager.I really just want and need this mistake resolved. I love Vavoline in VA and always took my Honda there during college. I am really saddened by how they re trying to make a decision but there s no footage?Service: Oil change

I called to see if they change your lights. They started on my car right away. I told them it's the right turn signal. They went and checked all of them. My brake light was out too. They fixed it in no time. Such friendly and professional service. Dallon, Christopher, Jesse and Quinn are amazing. They also plug tires which is good to know. The lady that works there is amazing. I can't remember her name. It starts with an M. My go to. Thanks you guys!Excellent job yet again! I love the professionalism and kindness when I come. Thank you to Quinn, Willie, and the other kind gentlemen. I think his name was Jimmy. My car needed much love and they were on it and gave me a great time frame. Another customer drove up and they went right up to him and answered his questions. Love you guys!!Oh my goodness! My car runs like a Ferrari! It is a VW. Awesome job guys!!!I went again to put air in my tires. Ian helped me out kindly. Just a wonderful attitude. Be back just to see him. Great job!

Two bad experiences in a row very poor customer service demanded that I remain in the waiting room for a vehicle inspection on a 2022 Acura I just wanted to go to Food Lion for a couple of items right next-door never go back

Arrived during busy time before severe cold weather to check my antifreeze. The employee was very helpful, friendly and cheerful. He topped off my antifreeze, and also topped off my brake and steering fluids without charging. I felt well cared for and better prepared for an upcoming travel. I will return for all my other services.

Just putting this out a warning they will state that they don t have a filter in the middle of an oil change to cover up a big mistake of draining the transmission fluid and not coming clean and ruining a perfectly running van.

BEWARE! Went to get a car inspection. The guy tells me my cars wiper blades arent good enough to pass inspection (which work fine btw) unless I buy a set of his premium wiper blades for 30$. I said no thanks and went a mile down the road to Strickland brothers who did an excellent job getting me in and out within 15 min without pushing unneeded equipment.

Have had hit or miss experience at this place, but as of late, I will be finding elsewhere to do business with handling my vehicle services and recommend the same for others. Have seen and experienced long wait times on multiple occasions, which doesn't line up to the company's name or branding. Seems like frequent crew rotation also occurs, adding to disconnect and confusion at this location.

I went to get an inspection and oil change out of convenience (short wait time). If you don't specify the grade of oil you prefer they will give you the highest grade apparently. I guess this is how they're choosing to start of 2023. Moving forward I will be using Precision off of College Rd. There's no reason for me to pay $95.99 for an oil change. I've been to Valvoline PLENTY of times and this has NEVER happened! I have been duped! Thanks Service: Oil change

Clean, fast, and efficient. Everyone there was friendly. The shop area was extremely clean for a lube joint. It was one of the fastest oil change turn around I've ever experienced. Will do business again.

Exceptional service! The knowledge and friendliness they gave me was outstanding. Sharon explained every service and answered my question thoroughly.Also, the convenience of staying in the car during the pandemic is a plus. Everyone is wearing a mask even if they are outside to keep everyone safe. A super respectful team! Always great employees there. Today, Big Shout-Outs to Tylor and another gentleman, I want to say his name was Batman (not sure). I misread when my oil change was due. They honestly told me my oil was fine and clean and not requiring the change. They still topped of my fluids and filled my tires. This service is why I always go there. Especially the Porter' s neck location. Thanks guys!Services: Tires, Oil change
