There was a minor miscommunication due to the fact that Kevin does such great work, they are constantly backed up. But the issue was absolutely made right by Kevin. I respect him and his team and recommend Superior automotive without any hesitation. we will definitely be going back.

I ve used Superior for over 10 years. I could not be more satisfied! They let me know what needs to be fixed right away versus what could wait so I can save money. They always do a fantastic job! I even consult them to decide what kind of vehicle I should buy next!

I bring multiple cars to this shop they are very detailed and very thorough check everything down to the light bulbs windshield wiper blades stuff that means a lot to me! Ways to be safe on the road and that's a very good thing to offer to people.. Kevin is an awesome guy easy to work with, a very fair and honest guy!!!

My car unexpectedly broke down yesterday (on a Sunday evening) and I had it towed here at a friend's recommendation. Kevin called me this morning , was honest about what he thought my issue was and that the dealership was probably the best place to get it fixed. On top of that, he did not even charge me a diagnostic fee and has been INCREDIBLY patient while I have been trying to contact a towing company to come get my car. I know next to nothing about cars, and I cannot express how much I appreciate his patience, kindness, and honesty. If you are looking for someone fair and trustworthy, I definitely recommend this shop!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I highly recommend Kevin and his team for all of your automotive needs. For two years now he has taken care of my SUV for me. He is always polite, professional, and has been very accommodating. His pricing is well below dealerships and I do not worry about being taken advantage of because I am I woman when I am having work done at his shop. His staff is thorough and efficient...I m able to drop my car off and run errands while they do the work. He even surprises me by going the extra mile . When I picked up my car recently from having an oil change, damage that been left from someone scraping against my car had been buffed out for me. It made my day!I can tell you I won t take my car anywhere else in Wilmington.

Over the weekend I discovered a flat. Towing company advised that it was unrepairable; that I also would need to replace all 4 tires due to age. I got quotes & even took it to a tire center, but was told it was too late in the day to complete the job. That evening a good friend told me that they got their tires from Superior Auto & Tire and were very pleased. Kevin and Staff were most accommodating, reasonably priced, and courteous. And, I was very grateful to learn that the flat tire was repairable and that my tires were still good! Thanks for your honesty. I will definitely return when I do need tires and other auto services. They even vacuumed my car! Nice touch. ; )

We were heading out of town when our car died in the middle of the road. We walked to Kevin s shop and were helped immediately. Not only did they get the car back to the shop, but also topped off engine fluids, checked/filled the tires, vacuumed the inside, and polished the headlights. The alternator was quickly replaced and Kevin was kind enough to share an orange with my young kids. We were extremely lucky to have broken down so close to the shop, but I would still recommend this place to anyone.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I came to this shop last minute to get my state inspection (on my way out of state before the end of month). I am not from Wilmington so I do not know the area (just that I needed to get it done) and I luckily found this place!I left while they completed the work and when I returned I was speechless. They noted that I was on a long-distance trip and rotated my tires, topped off my fluids, and vacuumed the inside.To be honest, it felt like my dad had just made sure my whole car was okay and ready for my first road trip. They did not gauge me on the price and my bill was super low and super transparent. As a customer, that means the world to me.This happened this past December and I just found the receipt (I put it in one of those "safe" places to remember to write a review, but the place was a little too safe:/). Maybe they were so generous because it was just around Christmas...but I needed a win that day and I did not expect to get it at an auto shop.I highly recommend this shop simply if you want to get treated with respect and not screwed over. Thank you!

Kevin and Danny are AMAZING! I have bringing my vehicle and my three kids vehicles here for 8 years now. They are honest and their work is SUPERIOR. Whenever you take your vehicle to them, they not only perform the work you came in for, they look your vehicle over. They make sure your vehicle is safe and give you a heads up on services that will need to be done in the near future so you can prepare your pocket. They even vacuum my truck when it is bought in for service. Had major repairs done with the shop and they did not keep my vehicle for weeks like other shops have. They are efficient and get the work done. Would not trust my vehicles with anyone else. Their name fits them......SUPERIOR.

Where to begin with this mechanic shop. Absolutely out standing. I have been in there multiple times and I m out the door and ready with my car in under 30 minutes. Kevin is the man I usually talk too and he is outstanding. His customer service is just awesome. I m so happy I live close by because y all have my business for a long long time.

Kevin is the man. I've never been here before yesterday, and then it was only to get a tire plugged. Ended up bringing my car back this morning for inspection and he went above and beyond to help me out. Little minor things were taken care of with little charge and he even cleaned my car out and fixed my hubcap! I cant say enough about these guys. They have my business for good.

These guys are amazing! Kevin and Dan absolutely love what they do. And they are always a man of there word. I have never had a problem with Superior auto and tire. I use to live in Raleigh and would drive down just so Kevin can fix my car. He's helped me tremendously with my car. I only trust these guys to work on my car. Thank you Kevin and Dan for all you do! You guys are the best!

Kevin and crew do a great job keeping your car healthy and safe. They provide excellent service at a reasonable price and always provide accurate quotes before they start the work. I trust them to tell me what I need and not to sell me anything I don't, they treat you like one of the family.

I have been a customer of Superior Auto & Tire for 10 years. Kevin is one of few honest mechanics in Wilmington. He has ALWAYS been honest and delivered top notch service. I highly recommend him!

When it comes to professionalism, honesty, and service the owner Kevin and his son Dan absolutely meet every expectation. They have been taking care of my vehicles for 13 years. They always provide me with honest work at a fair price and its worth every penny to keep my business going and my family safe. Go see Kevin he's the real deal!!

I have known Kevin and his family for more than 10yrs. I have entrusted Kevin and Danny with my vehicles for years. I will drive from Norfolk Va just to get their service because I know that they will treat my vehicles the way they would treat their own. I have referred family and friends to Superior for years now and they have all had wonderful experiences. Kevin believes in full auto care. So if you dont want to be told what is wrong or recommended to do to your vehicle then dont waste your or his time. However if you want to be kept in the loop on the condition of your vehicle and what to expect in the future at a fair price by a very honest and trust worthy family then I highly recommend you go pay Kevin and Danny a visit and they will fix you up. Nothing better than supporting a small family owned business!!

Recently had to have some Tires replaced, Superior Tire & Auto was where I had my car towed to. I'm so lucky and thankful b/c they were awesome. Changed my oil and vacuumed car for free. Stayed in constant communication throughout the process and although they closed at 5:30PM, Kevin waited for me to arrive shortly thereafter.Many Thanks

I went here on Friday, and the manager Kevin seemed pretty kind and helpful I requested two used tires and that is what I received. Sunday morning I had a flat tire by Sunday night my tire blew out. I returned on Monday morning requesting my money back as well as my old tires and he could take back his two tires that he had given me the manager agreed on my request but then 20 minutes later turned around and just put another used tire on my car refused to give me back my money and dismissed me. This I believe is unacceptable customer service due to the fact that you were kind when I was paying you but because I didn't like your service he decides to be rude and disrespectful no one should be treated like this man or woman!! I believe he selling unsafe tires and should be put out of business!

I've been to several mechanics in Wilmington and Superior is by far the best service for several reasons. Not only am I always treated with upmost respect but I'm given superior quality labor, parts, and care. Kevin and Dan give me the most fair prices in town in an incredible turn over time. If you need car service, you'd be unwise to go anywhere else.

I was directed here for a tire patch by someone. (They actually couldn't remember the name and sent me to performance auto who said they send all tire repair work to Superior Auto) The service was superb. I had a severe hole during work as a delivery driver and barely got the tire to them before closing so they couldn't get it finished that night. They put an interior plug patch in and had it ready for me early the next morning and i didn't miss any work thanks to their diligence. Owner also was able to get me a quote for 2 new tires at nearly half the price of the tires i have been buying (far too frequently for the cost of them). I will absolutely be returning for those tires as soon as finances allow.10/10 will be a repeat customer!

Every time I go to Superior, I get a list of free stuff that they've done on my car while they were attending to the actual problem. My car isn't very new, so it's really noticeable when they fix something.My dad told me one of the wheels was bent, so I told them that when I brought my car in to Superior. They found that none of the wheels were bent, but they fixed the shaking issue that I thought was caused by a bent wheel. Kevin told me the only remaining issue is a bent tie rod end, and I can still feel my car pulling slightly. It's just a matter of time until I can get my car back into the shop. (I am poor).Their goal seems to be making my car work better for me, not taking my money. Kevin knows how to make the customer feel like they got a great deal.

I don't think it needs to be said that women are more likely to be ripped off when going to mechanics. I've had that experience with other places in town, where employees are condescending and rude, and jack the price way up because they don't think I'll know the difference. So that is why Superior Tire and Auto is a genuinely comfortable place for me to go. The employees are always honest, respectful and fair. My father is an automechanic, and when I go to superior I feel like I'm treated with the same kindness and honesty that my father treats his customers. I have been going to superior for three years and have always been pleased with their service. They even go the extra mile to do things I don't expect, for example, once they vacuumed my floorboard without me asking. Superior is a place that makes you feel at home, and like you're dealing with people you can trust, whether you're a man or a woman.

These guys are awesome. Kevin is always very thorough and attentive, and the entire staff is friendly. I stopped in randomly about three years ago to have a truck tire for a company car repaired and have been coming back with my own vehicles ever since!

DO NOT GO THIS PLACE FOR INSPECTION. Went to superior tire and auto to get my (well functioning) 2009 Nissan Versa inspected. After waiting 2 and a half hours for inspection to be completed the mechanic came up to the front desk and said "well you have many issues with the car." They continued to tell me the tires were bad, windshield wipers where bad, lights were too cloudy, licence frame light was out AND the subframe of the car was dented and needed to be replaced. ALSO when I returned to my car I noticed they had spray painted one if my tires yellow, I thought that was rude to do that to my car. This inspection came as such a shock to me because my car has no damages, Is well maintained and rides smoothly with no odd noises. I was so upset and felt hopeless, in order to fix just the subframe alone would be timely and more than 500 dollars. I decided to get a second opinion. I took my versa to get inspected elsewhere and they told me there is nothing wrong with my subframe, my tire and head lights where fine... all that was needed was a new license plate light and a new windshield wiper (only because the old wiper had been barely hanging on due too manipulation to it... which couldn't of happened from over time driving it had to be done from intentional manipulation of wiper). I was relieved to be right about the other shop scamming me. What could of been a 500 plus dollar expense to "fix" my fuctionial car was just 30 dollars at another shop. Thankfully the other shop I took it to was able to over ride the inspection due to the other place being faulty but in most cases you would have to re-inspect the car at the original shop that failed you so long story short DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE. I'm not the type to leave a bad review but this was necessary in order to possibly help prevent others enduring the stress I went through.

I brought our work truck here twice for tire repairs. I thought it was great then. But this is also a great mechanic! Now I bring our work truck AND my personal vehicle in for services! Thanks for keeping me safe and running on the road, guys!

Terrible service and did services we didn't ask for. Change windshield wipers for $70 when never asked him!!! Rude and obnoxious. Added oil for $40, when could have got a full oil change for that price. Uses used parts that mess up shortly after you leave. Got the car back had to go back 3 days later for the same problem. Avoid this place at all costs.

RIPPED OFF!!!!! I went to them a while back because my 2nd cylinder needed replaced, and the car needed a tune up. They charged me over $400 (can't recall the exact amount to the dollar). The car still had a problem even after. I took it back to them, and they swore it was a brand new cylinder and that it could be 1 of 1,000 things causing it. I just had to drop it off at a shop elsewhere, because it was puttering so badly that I didn't think it would make it to work. The shop just called to say that the CYLINDER HAD NEVER BEEN REPLACED. Was "taped with electrical tape" and the "spark plugs were all the original plugs". He took photos to show me when I go to pick it up. Superior Auto and Tire are a bunch of crooks and liars. The maintenance now needing done on my car, due to Superior lying and cheating, will now cost me $1,200 to fix. Money I don't have. What I DO have is a lawyer that works pro bono.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO RACIALLY MISTREATED IN MY LIFE. I arrived with my mother and my son to get a tire plugged. The men who worked there would not even let us get out of the car. Then they told us they could not help us.
