Wonderful long-time family owned business. This is the cleanest and well laid out military store I have been in. Great prices with many interesting things to look at. We found a couple of unique collector items to buy.

I've been going here for years. They have an eclectic and good selection of military type clothing, bags, memorabilia. The atmosphere is very friendly and the people are nice and helpful. You'll always find something you need or want.

I love this place! What an amazing family. I have been taking my car here for inspections for many years. They will not nickel and dime you. Some of the nicest and most honest people you'll meet! We also store our RV here for a cheap rate. My son used to love the inside store front when he was younger for fun army surplus items. All sorts of cool things inside for all sorts of your needs though! Be sure to church them out!

We stopped in having driven past many times before. The jet and deck gun in front are great, but if you don't stop you'll miss all the other cool stuff! Friendly and helpful folks, lots of great things inside. Keep the flag flying!

This is the best and most honest family... Love them! If you don't know there's an inspection station in back, you're missing out! They aren't out to rip you off, like so many are. Plus, they're fun to talk too!!!!!!

I go to these guys every year for both my van and car for inspection. All the people who are on site are great and to the point, very personable and professional at the same time. They'll tell you if something's wrong and where/how to fix it and sometimes they already know how to fix it! They refer great places when they can, which WAS great because I saved money on a muffler.Last time in the man on duty was concerned about my muffler and he was right to be, he remembered I had 2 sons with me before. It's dangerous and you can pass out! So it cost me less than 100 bucks to get a brand bew muffler installed and my van is running waaaayyy better; ever since I bought that work van they've helped me SO much to keep it safe and driving.100% recommend. Even if it means driving a few extra miles, these guys care and will help you get your vehicle inspected or if it's already perfect it takes like 15 to 20 minutes tops, in n out.

Great store and very friendly! Very honest. I thought I gave him a $10 and a $5 for the purchase when I actually gave him a $20 and $5. He quickly pointed it out. Highly recommend!

A surprise find near the monkey junction area. I picked up some ammo cans and survival can openers. They have some surprising finds like interesting knife options and sparring swords as well as decent prices on clothing. As expected for a surplus store it is kind of hard to find larger sizes, but it is definitely worth checking out.

My favorite store on earth. I've been shopping here for 20 years, have reccomend Strickland's to dozens of people, and consider it a landmark in the Wilmington community. I have always and will always buy here before shopping online to support this awesome business and fine family!

Second part of business is NC Vehicle Inspection station. Have been going here for 10 yrs. Best ever. Courteous, respectful, quick and accurate. Mini-museum of firefighter gear is really quite good. You either drive into the garage when you arrive or there's one car ahead of you. Go in the middle of the month in the morning. Opens @ 0900. Can't go wrong here.

They have a huge selection with low prices. You can find whatever you re looking for plus more. They have the best customer service I ve experienced during my trip to North Carolina. Doug was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store!

Great place, great service and great people! They get you in and out quickly. They inspected my jeep and had me ready to go in less than 20 minutes. .wouldn't go anywhere else!

Nice people. The man that inspected my car scraped off a sticker from my windshield that I couldn't get off.
