I traveled 2 hours to purchase my 2016 Honda accord. This was my first time purchasing a vehicle and Mike M. made the experience as stress free as possible. He was very helpful from the first phone call we had and went out of his way to ensure all of my needs were met. Finance did not pressure me at all and gave me honest advice on everything and made the process easy. I recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to shop at Stevenson-Hendrick in Wilmington and ask for Mike!

Buying a car can be a very stressful experience, especially with a toddler and another baby on the way. Thankfully Miss Kira Orellana made it as smooth as possible for me and worked with me to provide the best deal for my family. I m not the easiest customer to deal with but I am very happy with my CRV and it s perfect for what I needed. I highly recommend purchasing a car from this dealership and specifically Kira. Ray was my dealership salesman and he did such a wonderful job. He was patient and consistent with me throughout my car sales journey. Not only did he make sure I felt comfortable with my chosen vehicle but he also made accommodations every time to make sure I was comfortable as well as my family, including my mother whose English is very limited. He was very attentive and well informed of each car we looked at. He made sure I was able to see the cars I was most interested in. And as a woman he made me feel secure in my choices and never second guessed the perimeters I wanted for my car. I am very thankful Ray was my dealership salesman. Another would not have been as patient. I love my car and grateful he did not pressure me into getting one I did not. Ray is the best, thank you.

I had such high hopes after seeing all the good reviews, but was disheartened with the experience. I made an appointment last weekend to come purchase this car last Monday (the next day). Hans called me to confirm the appointment Sunday and was a pleasure to speak with. He also texted me Monday morning to confirm the appointment time was still good and said he'd have the car upfront waiting for me. I was delighted when I pulled up and the car was up front as promised. Hans came out and met me, shook my hand, and said a technician was taking it out for a brief test drive to ensure everything works appropriately and would be bringing the keys back to him in a few minutes.When the technician came back, another salesman grabbed the key and showed the car to another couple after I was already there and checked in for my appointment. I could tell Hans was also frustrated this happened but remained professional the entire time. After wasting 2 hours at the dealership plus an hour of driving, I was told "sorry, someone else is purchasing the car."This is a complete breakdown in communication and professionalism, and a huge deliberate waste of my time! I was then contacted the next day to see if I wanted to see another similar car that was much older. That car had some serious issues and only got a few blocks before all the red flags were showing up so we turned around and went back and avoided purchasing the alternate vehicle.My fiance left a review with our experience but I wanted to wait a week to see if they would do anything to remedy this situation before I left a review with my experience. The GM called me within an hour of her leaving the review and apologized for how that was handled but then had the excuse that about half of the people that make appointments don't actually follow through and show up which is why they didn't hold the vehicle... I could understand if I made an appointment for a week out and on a whim, but I made the appointment the day before and confirmed that morning AND was ALREADY AT THE DEALERSHIP for my appointment.It sucks that businesses don't honor their word and making an appointment seems completely useless. That would have been great to know or I would have been there as soon as they opened last Monday morning.Now I'm wondering if this scenario is isolated to just Hendrick Honda of Wilmington or if this is a representation of the entire Hendrick group?! The GM said he would try to work his magic to find a comparable car within his fleet at other dealerships to make the situation right, but it has been a week.I generally leave very positive reviews and really don't like publicly posting negative reviews about a business. Hopefully something will change to redeem their word and I can update my review.

Customer service was top notch from the moment we walked into the dealership. Matt Banning and Noah Mix were great to work with! No pressure or upsales, they just asked what we wanted and made sure we got it!! Highly recommend visiting these guys if you are looking to purchase a vehicle!!

I recently purchased a 2019 Ram Rebel here. Alec Whittington was my salesman and he was outstanding. He made the process extremely easy and always quick to check in and see if he could do anything to help. Living in Montana, not even seeing the truck in person, he provided me with any Pictures, Videos or information I needed to feel happy and comfortable going into the purchasing process. Even made the transport process very easy with constant updates. If any hiccups came up, he was quick to find a solution and provide the best outcome for me. A fantastic salesman and dealership I d recommend to anyone. Absolutely loving the truck!

What an experience with Hans Mertens! It s my second go round at Stevenson Hendrick Honda and I, again, can t recommend it enough. Hans, my client advisor, was not your typically pesty car salesman. Very thorough, and timely follow through once I acquired about a truck with Natalia, who was pleasant to work with as well. I couldn t recommend the team more. I recently purchased a 2023 4Runner with Stevenson-Hendrick Honda. I had the pleasure of working with Alec Whittington who truly made the process seamless. Being a college student who has never purchased a car, Alec made sure to provided many detailed videos and photos, to ensure that I was confident before making the trip to Wilmington. With being a first time buyer, I had many questions. Alec was sure to provide more than enough information, so that I was comfortable with my purchase. Once I arrived in Wilmington, I was very pleased with he professionalism and care I was provided. My experience exceeded my expectations, and I am looking forward to working with Alec and Stevenson-Hendrick Honda again in the future.

Had an excellent car buying experience from Stevenson Hendrick Honda in Wilmington, NC. I had two vehicles I was interested in, and Will Gibson, my sales person was prompt to show me both. I was not pressured or hassled, and they worked with me to get the vehicle I wanted within reasonable price. Excellent Staff, excellent service! Just got my car serviced for it's yearly maintenance and Gary O'Neal and Jeremy Fairfax made it super easy. Both were super friendly and extremely helpful. They even replaced a recalled part that I didn't know I needed during appointment so I didn't have to make another trip back. I was in and out in a jiffy. Stevenson/Hendrick Honda service department gets an A+ from me! Highly recommend.

Keira H was the bomb. Very down to earth and relaxed for purchasing a car. I never felt pressured and everyone, Matt and Phil all very nice team. The whole crew at Hendrick Honda made buying a car and trading in my other car a very easy and smooth experience. I wasn't 100% if I was ready to purchase a car, but Nick Smith was so patient and really helped me find the one that made the most sense for me and my family. I felt absolutely NO pressure to purchase, which made me comfortable enough to walk out with a new set of keys! He totally understood what I wanted and was very understandable when I wasn't loving one that we checked out. We finally found the perfect car, and I am so happy with it!

I have bought my last two cars from here and I have nothing but great things to say! In 2021, I bought a 2022 Honda Insight hybrid. I loveeeed that car but it was pretty low to get in and out and complete long road trips when you ve gotten a little older and had a few surgeries. Monday I took Harry in for an oil change, tire rotation, etc. Alex had sent me an email about the Honda Xchange program, so I looked into it while waiting. Long story short, I walked out so happy with my new 2024 Honda CRV hybrid! It is everything I have wanted. Craig Hales was just amazing to work with, to be honest. This is the only dealership I have felt truly comfortable in. I also had a great experience with the finance department. He was patient and explained everything to me in detail, as well as not being pushy when I wanted to pass on coverages. If you are thinking about upgrading, be sure to go talk to Craig!

Updated Review: The head Service Manager Dean Hines contacted me immediately after I posted the review below. He did a full review of my service charges and found that several billing errors were made then immediately credited my charge card. Unfortunately, my concerns were not passed along to Mr. Hines prior to this review because I believe he would have taken corrective action sooner. Errors can happen but it's good to know that Stevenson-Henderick Honda will take immediate action to correct any mistakes and I believe will strive for even better service in the future. As a reminder, the services they performed were top notch.Original Review: Initially I was very satisfied with the service I received during my first visit to their service department. �I was impressed with how they managed my repairs, and the overall service and responsiveness that included a major unexpected repair and free loaner car.My biggest complaint is the cost. �When I go to a dealer for repairs, I expect to pay more than a general auto shop but I think that my charges (parts and labor) were on the excessive side. �I did some spot checking at an on-line genuine Honda parts supplier and see that generally I was charged almost double their retail prices. �It just should not cost $400 to replace 4 spark plugs.My other complaint was in the lack of response to the above concerns. I provided these concerns to my service manager, Robert, who said he would discuss it with his manager but after a week, I heard nothing more from anyone at Stevenson-Hendrick Honda.I appreciate the very good service I received at this location but disappointed in what I consider excessive charges, unnecessary diagnostic charge, and the lack of follow up on my concerns.

I highly recommend that if you were in the market for a new car, particularly a Honda that you contact Stevenson, Hendrix, Honda, Wilmington, and asked for Bubba Williamson. He made our trading experience most enjoyable and helped us find and delivered the car we desired. Thank you Bubba for a very pleasant car trading experience. i was in a really tight spot, i went to other resources of help (other dealers and also my bank) and no luck during the holidays and a new baby on the way, i didn t know where to turn. I purchased a 2020 4Runner in August. Since then I have come across a few very minor issues with the vehicle, but each time this happened I reached out to Noah Mix my salesman for help. Every time I have reached out he goes above and beyond to ensure that my issue is resolved. I have to say this has been the best car buying experience I have ever had, and I wanted to take the time to thank Noah and the dealership for making this a great experience. Found and purchased the exact Honda Civic I was looking for from this dealership. As my first experience purchasing a vehicle it was a very good one. Zak Warren helped me through the process. He was friendly, authentic, knowledgeable, cooperative and never made me feel pressured or uncomfortable. Everyone else at the dealership seemed very pleasant as well. The process took a little longer than expected as I was there for nearly 7 hours but I understand it s a busy time of year for dealers. This was our third leased CRV for us. As usual, Ray Ortiz was a pleasure to deal with and he continues to amaze us on what he will do to make a transaction get completed. Ray is professional, courteous, knowledgeable and personable gentleman when we talk with him. Making a sale isn t the end of your dealing with Ray, it is just the beginning off a warm relationship he builds with each customer. That is something that takes a lot of time and dedication by him. We are so grateful we met him 9 years ago and he is a friend of our family.But this was not the end of our present transaction. We met with another gentleman who is Sales Manager Matt Banning. Matt is another person of the highest professionalism, knowledgeable, and personable. I would also add that through his amazing knowledge and innovation, he was able to give us a different option on trading in our leased vehicle. I write this review to share the experience my wife and I had purchasing our new Honda Odyssey. From start to finish, every teammate my wife and I worked with, displayed professionalism and they were all sincere and genuine in their actions. Shane, Ken, Phil and Dan were the managers that helped me with my purchase and they functioned like a team should. Henry in finance was patient, transparent and help my wife and I choose the best option to better protect our new Odyssey. Henry never tried to "sell" us anything, he clearly went over each option and how they could benefit us and we chose what worked best for us. They all worked together with my wife and I to help us find the right vehicle that met my wife's needs and my budget. They were flexible with my frugal tendencies and I couldn't think of any other place that would be as patient, understanding and respectful of our needs and time. Needless to say, we have a new Odyssey in our driveway!!!! This is the first Honda we have ever purchased and because of this stellar team, it won't be our last. My wife and I just purchased a new Honda Accord hybrid Sport L. Ray Ortiz guided us through the process of finding the car that would fit into our present goals of a new car. He was a wealth of knowledge and honesty in make us fully comfortable in our decision making. There were very few questions he could not answer and few that came up he researched and found the answers the same day. He is an expert in the technology built into these new cars being produced by manufacturers . Ray guided us through setting up of this car for us with personal attention and a video library that we can always review anytime. Ray has kept in touch with us throughout the ordering process and post purchase period to be sure we are fully happy with our purchase. We have never felt more comfortable with the purchasing of many vehicles in our lives. Alec: SalesmanHad a wonderful buying experience with Alec. I called from out of state to purchase a vehicle and, it went better than I could have imagined. There was constant communication from the beginning all the through. There were videos sent prior to making that decision to travel down to the dealership. I was met by Alec upon my arrival to Wilmington Airport, and everything we discussed prior was still intact. There were no hidden charges or fees, Stevenson-Hendrick is a very honest dealership. Ryan, in finance was a tremendous part of the car buying process too. Overall, I highly recommend if you want to have a professional and enjoyable car buying experience.
