Cheap service price, good work, but not a comfortable environment. Not rude, but not friendly staff. They don't act like they are glad that you choice to do business with them,and not give your money to another tire place. They give you the feeling that they could careless even if you don't come back.

Horrible experience. Sold me a used tire for 85$ and it had a cut in it. Never again. John's tires it will be for now on.

Was a bit leery of this place because of the location and look of the building. They were very friendly on phone & had good prices. As a woman it's hard to feel like you're not getting ripped off. This is a family run place. Nothing fancy. No waiting area with TV & vending machines. No hydraulic lifts and fancy equipment. Just basic equipment and hard working guys who do the work right there in front of you. In and out quickly, great prices and good tires. I've already sent a family friend there for tires and they had same good experience.

Great used tires and great prices. Fast and friendly service as well.Edit as of August 2023 i can still recommend this shop. Got a really nice used tire for literally 30 bucks. Im convinced the bad reviews here are just other tire shops seething at not being able to sell me 2 new tires for 300 bucks.

Terrible they charged me 25$ per tire to mount and I had to take my old tires and dump them myself. They're cheats shady business but I was in a bind and had to get it done so I paid

Bought a whole set less than 6 months ago and had to replace two already. Idk how they could rip off a pregnant woman and still sleep at night. I would have been better off with my old tires.

Quick service at a reasonable price! I wish I had found this place sooner!I needed 2 front tires for the band van and didn't have a lot of cash to spend. RUTS tech was on it in a flash... The "used" tires he brought me had 90% of it's tread still on them. Total price (mounted and balanced) $82. And he had me out of there in less than 30 min.I would recommend these guys to anyone on a budget that needs tires!!

I used to recommend everyone to this place. I've always bought used tires for my two work vehicles: Dodge Ram 1500 and Jeep Grand Cherokee. The owner would sell me a tire and put it on for 40 bucks. I've had some for 2 years and they still would pass inspection. However, now he has a new employee that does the price negotiating. The last time I went I just needed a tire taken off one rim and put on the other. I even took the wheel off my vehicle while waiting. This ended up being a mistake because when he told me $20 to swap (for another $15 more I could have gotten a new/used tire) I did not have any room to negotiate since my vehicle was jacked up and missing a wheel. He knew that. And that's why he knew he could charge $20 for 10min of work. You live and learn

These tires I bought from here on Friday caused me an xtra 110.00 because they did not check tires good the money I gave them could have bought me another new tire, this is the second time they sold me bad tires I bought three on Friday and had to fix one immediately when I got home from barbershop, taking people hard earn money and not freaking visually checking these tires!! I done with them! $45.00 and out of all 3 one had to be replaced and the other fixed it s a crying shame

Bought 2 16in used tires for only $40 bucks out the door. Tires look really good and it literally only took the guy 15 mins. This is a Great small family ran business that gets the job done right and quick.

Another place with an inaccurate rating! I've been here 3 separate occasions. If they have the tire size I need, I come over and within 15-20 minutes I'm pulling out of there with some great looking used tires at the cheapest price in Wilmington. On a 98 Corolla with 14's... 35$ a pop. On an 04 Highlander with 17's, 45$ a pop. You can't beat that unless your uncle runs a tire shop (mine doesn't).

Terrible customer service. I went there for a used tire which was a last minute resort and after fixing my tire, my tire pressure gauge system no longer read my tire pressure. I went back to see if they could look at it, and I was told they didn t touch it and couldn t help me . It worked when i got there for the tire replacement which is how i knew i needed a new tire since it read low and it was leaking air and didn t when I left. I asked for them to just look at it to see what went wrong and as I was told they couldn t help me, i said yes you can. Please just look. I was then told i told you my answer already. I didn t break anything. After speaking to another shop about it and could it have been touched as the tire was removed from the rim, i was informed it HAD to have been touched. It s attached to the valve stem. No one wanted to even look at my car to view the mistake. I will make sure to tell everyone their work is terrible and customer service is worse. I NEVER leave a review for a business ever and I HAD to this time so it doesn t happen to anyone else.

This place has been a source of tires for QUITE some time for myself and my work truck. The service has ALWAYS been excellent and I have found that their used tires are long lasting. Additionally, even when I JUST needed air in my tires, the Owner was ALWAYS FREELY ACCOMODATING.

Horrible! We had all four tires done.They tried to over charge us after putting on the tires after they quoted us a different price on the phone. Then we realized they actually did half of the amount they were going to over charge us after we got home through the square payment system. They also scraped all of our rims really badly! We only had driven about 30 min on the tires before the back left tire blew! We had to sit on the side of the road at 10pm with our 2 yr old in the car. When we came the next day to get that tire replaced they fought us and said they wouldn't replace it. finally they said they would after we wouldn't let up, but then tried to put another bad tire on and stated it was the only one. Then we told them they were lying and it turns out they had a whole stack of them but said it was $10 more for one of those, a decent tire to replace the one that blew. Do not go here! They are liars and con artists!

Family owned business that charged me less than the other three places I called. Got a great deal for two tires I needed last minute before a road trip. Name brand and 80% tread left for half of what I would have paid new.

I would have given them 5 stars but one time I was in a guy had just bought nearly $300 in used tires from them for a couple trailors and wanted to bring the other 2 trailors back one at a time to have them installed but Mr. Roble was goung to charge him the extra fee for each so they lose a star in my opinion, BUT if it weren't for that they would absolutely derserve the 5 stars. The couple that owns this place are amazing people and I've tried a few places in town this is by far the best used tire shop. For $35 you get a quality nearly new used tire installed in the rim and vehicle, I go through tires from a paper route and a 2nd job that requires a lot of driving so I am there quite often. Take it from me don't buy a used tire anywhere else in Wilmington.

Need new tires? This is the place to go... Well New Tires to you! So I need 4 tires for our honda odysee and almost went to firestone and would have paid 600 bucks... I drove out of here for 170 and very happy.. Sure they are not brand new but look it, lots of tread.. The Robles family is expert at getting this done fast. We were in and out withen 40 minutes on a Saturday... Highly recommended.... Never going back to Firestone..

The worst experience I have ever had with a used tire place. I paid to have all 4 tires replaced and they destroyed all my rims and after he put on the tires he tried charging me 10 more dollars than he originally quoted me. The owner has no empathy aswell because after driving for 30 mins one of the tires blew and it left my family and I on the side of the road. The tire was apparently shaved on the sides and an unfit tire to sell. When I asked them to exchange the tire for a more suitable tire he refused and I spent 20 mins arguing with the owner and an 18 year kid who said he was a mechanic and knows that that tire is fine. Even though the sides were shaved off and my rims had shards of metal ripped off my rim from the installation. When they finally said yes to replace my tire the owner pulled out a tire that was obviously in worse condition because it had uneven wear. I asked him for a tire that was safer and not overly warn he said that was his only tire. I said he was lying and after arguing with him he pulls out a way nicer used tire that was on a stack of 4 or 5 more of the same tire size. He then said it is 10 dollars more and said he wouldn't put the tire on unless I paid him first. Mind my wallet was in my car that was already jacked way up. He finally put the tire on and when I tried paying with my card he got mad because he wanted cash all of the sudden. They are con artest and have no respect for their costumers.

Very unprofessional. I have a 2016 mustang that i needed to replace the wheel and tire. They replaced the tire and told me that my tpms senser cant be switched to the new wheel. Charged me $15 extra than originally quoted to balance the tire. Wasted my time and money going here. After i left i went to johns tire on market street and got my tpms sensor swapped in a few minutes. Terrible!

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !!! .. they BENT my rim with the tire machine .. they BROKE my tire sensor .. they re very unprofessional and unorganized. Also they SELL YOU KNOTTED UP TIRES FROM 2013 !! CHECK YOUR TIRES BEFORE PURCHASING THEM !!! No wonder they have a AS IS policy

These guys are great! I had a flat passing through town.. They had me fixed and back on the road with a used tire in great condition for 50 bucks within 10 minutes.

Had four new tires put on my truck and traded 8 total tires 4 new but smaller size and they only wanted to knock off 40 dollars off my price... I really had to apply pressure for compromise

I love this place. Great prices and they're hardly ever too busy. I drive here from Leland every time.
