Took my 2011 Ford F-150 in for a transmission fluid change. Got a call from Bill and advised me that my fluid looked fine and really did not need to be changed. He showed me a sample of the transmission fluid that was still looking like transmission fluid should look, nice and clean. I'm truly thankful and appreciative of the honesty from Q First, Bill and his staff. Pleased to know that there are still honest repair shops around and Q First is certainly one of them. I highly recommend this company for any of your automotive service needs. Thanks again to Bill and his crew. Great people to deal with.

I've had nothing short of an excellent experience every time I've brought my Tahoe to Bill and his team at Qfirst. I can't speak for the others, but Bill has always been honest and thorough in explaining the work to be performed, has over delivered every time and has always been available and accommodating. He repaired my A/C compressor without trying to sell me a new one and he gave me incredibly competitive pricing to change out a sensor, which required removing the engine manifold. They are closed on the weekends, but it reflects that on Google and the website... It's tough to find a trustworthy auto service around town, but these guys have earned my business and I highly recommend.

I've taken my Jeep and Tacoma to Q-First and they have always done a great job at a great price with excellent customer service. Needless to say, my expectations have always been exceeded by Bill and the guys. Just yesterday my alternator went out and I called Bill. He gave me a great price, and was going to hook me up with a trusted towing company as well. I ended up buying an alternator at Advanced and replaced it myself today. This evening I got a call from Bill. He just wanted to check and make sure everything with my vehicle was okay. These guys are trustworthy and good at what they do. Not to mention that they're God-fearing men who are involved in the community. Would I recommend them? 100% absolutely!

Here is the strange experience I had. I scheduled an a/c repair for my vehicle on a Friday(was best for him), we talked about everything that I needed done he recommended I get an extra part (which I did) he looked it up and said it would take 4 1/2 hrs to complete, it was all arranged. Here is where it gets weird, so when I showed up he informed me that it could take longer than a day to repair my vehicle and asked if I had transportation for the weekend available. Since he doesn't work on weekends and he failed to tell me this important detail when we scheduled it we had to reschedule to the following Wednesday. Then on Tuesday, the day before our appointment i received a call from Bill. He told me that he wasn't going to do my repair...why? He didn't have straight answer at all and just said he didn't want to do it! How's that for treating someone "quality first"? I have dealt with many mechanics before, but this is by far the most bizarre experience I have ever had by far.If you are planning on taking your vehicle to this place, make sure you ask up front if he will be able to finish and if he says they can't you should either look for a more reputable shop or have another vehicle you can drive in the meantime.Since this happened I have also talked to several other shops about repairing my a/c and no one says it will take more than a day, as a matter of fact the Ford only calls for 3 1/2-4 1/2 hrs max. The other shop also informed me that Q First has one of the worst reputations in the business for customer treatment and doing incomplete repairs.I would be very wary of this place and stay away, you are asking for trouble if you trust your car to them. Maybe if it is something very simple they can handle it, other than that watch out!Very unfortunate.

Lots of experience with this repair shop, avoid at all costs. They misdiagnosed my vehicle, almost misdiagnosed it a 2nd time, put me off for over 2 weeks and were incredibly rude and unwilling to admit their mistakes or issue me any sort of credit for the misdiagnosis. Afterwards I took my vehicle to a professional shop with professional mechanics that found the issue within 20 minutes, among other things. Details below.I work for a small used car lot and we would often send cars here for simple repairs since they were right down the street, though more often than not we had to send cars down several times as the issue was rarely fixed or diagnosed correctly the first time around. Thinking back on it, I should have seen it coming. My personal vehicle (2013 Honda CRV) had a stutter and the car would shake violently when I was slowly accelerating, so I took it to qfirst as the shop I originally wanted to take it to was booked for another week. We test drove it and they told me they think its the serpentine belt, so they replaced it for $270 and I called back after picking the car up and told them the car is still shaking. He test drove it again, and said it was some part that regulates my steering in the rear end (thank god I didnt take it here to repair it again or i would have been stuck with ANOTHER bill for a misdiagnosis cause that wasn't it!) He then says we will try and work you in next week, this continues for about 2 weeks of him pushing back the date to fix my car, probably a total of about 5 or 6 times (1 time I had to reschedule but he said he couldn't have done it that day anyways). Finally I call him and say look, I need to get this fixed, and he says "We don't have scheduled times, you just need to drop it off here and we will get to it when we can". I know someone who has had one of their cars there for over 3 weeks, so that wasn't an option and he should have told me the first time I called instead of wasting my time. So I ask him "I want to do the repair with you because I'm hoping to get some form of credit or discount for the earlier misdiagnosis, but I really need a ballpark for when I need to drop my car off". He then tells me that he didn't misdiagnose my car, and that it needed a new serpentine belt. This is BS, I took it to the shop for the shaking, he told me the serpentine belt was causing the shaking, it wasn't the issue, so how is that not a misdiagnosis? I didn't take the car there for maintenance and if it needed to be replaced for a separate issue he should have made me aware. I told him this, nicely and calmly as i had been the entire time, and he told me to go somewhere else, so I did!I took the vehicle to J&J Honda specialist. They were very professional and scheduled me a sit in appointment so I didn't need to use a lot car or get a rental, and had my issue diagnosed within 20 minutes. It was a torque converter shudder, and they did a transmission flush which fixed the issue entirely, though I may need to get the torque converter replaced eventually. They also asked me how long I had the vehicle, and who was the last person to work on it, as the axle seals and left axle boot was torn, and I would have had issues before now if it had been that way since I got the car in September. The only other place to work on this car was Qfirst, so that's interesting. Though I can't prove the damage was any fault of Qfirst in any way, and I honestly don't know if it was them at all that caused it, its interesting to say the least. Long story short, if its anything beyond an oil change or inspection, I would look elsewhere for quicker more reliable service.

BAD EXPERIENCE!!! I took my car there to have some front end work done. I even gave them a quote from another repair shop. The car needed the sway bar links repaired. Four days later, and after several frustrating calls, I got the car back to discover that two perfectly good upper strut mounts were replaced instead. Turns out those upper strut mounts were either defective or improperly installed. A second attempt was made to replace the defective parts, but those turned out to be bad as well. They did, however, fix the sway bar situation, but charged me for the parts. Now they think something was already wrong with the car and it should be taken to a third party for inspection. Now, the car has been dropped off four different times. This time I get the car back and who ever they took it to couldn't find any problems, even after their on mechanic verified that there was a problem. Ironically, I take the car back to the place who gave me the original quote for the sway bar link repair and they confirm that the upper strut mounts were either defective or improperly installed. I then, sent a letter to Q-First offering to pay half of the cost to have the parts replaced by the original shop, but I never heard anything. So, now, after four months, several borrowed cars, time lost from work and around $400.00, I've got to replace parts on my car that never needed to be replaced in the first place. Be very careful!

These guys do quality work. I had the rear tailgate replaced on my Escalade, and these guys finished the job in a timely manor, and I could not have asked for more professional job. I would definitely use Q first again.
