My older mini cooper has racked up some miles and needed quite a bit of work. The team at Performance Auto Specialists patiently explained the diagnostics and made recommendations on where to start. They preformed the work in a timely manner, on budget and kept me informed during the process. I highly recommend this team!

Highly recommend PAS. They always take great care of me and my 2015 Tahoe. Great staff, who are so friendly, and go out of their way to help. They even have sweet treats for customers as a thank you!

I cannot recommend PAS highly enough. Their professionalism, expertise, efficiency, transparency, and outstanding customer service set them apart as a leader in the auto repair industry. If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy car repair service, look no further than PAS. I am from Savannah GA and was visiting family when I experienced car trouble and they took care of me and made sure that it was safe to travel back home.

I have always liked older unique looking cars that require a little TLC to keep them on the road for a few more years. I don't have large monthly car payments, high insurance costs or crazy car excise taxes. I do, however, have more car repair expenses. Performance Auto has always made me feel like "they have my back". They perform services that they feel are necessary without ever "finding" extra work to do. For reasonable rates, great friendly staff and on-time service, do yourself a favor and choose Performance Auto Specialist...

Great shop with knowledgeable staff! I started bringing my Gfs VW in at the beginning of this year. They fixed the issue with no problem, completed the vehicles recommended maintenance and made a plan for future problems that may arise. They are up front about the cost and quick with their service. Chris is easy to talk to and doesn't make ya feel dumb for not knowing things. PAS is AMAZING! They fix things correctly the first time! Their staff is honest, courteous & professional! We always have the BEST experience with them! My mom drives 4 hours round trip to bring her vehicle to them! We highly recommend Performance Auto Specialists! They are the BEST in the business! I can honestly say that this is the best shop I have ever been to. Volkswagen electric issues are usually a headache and very costly, but this shop had everything I needed in stock and at an affordable price. Even though they were incredibly busy, it only took two days to fix every issue. Chris and the whole team were helpful, communicative, and truly very nice. As a woman it can be intimidating dealing with auto shops, but not here. They have upfront pricing and don t push for extra services. I will always recommend them to other Volkswagen owners.

Performance Auto Specialists are the best!! I recently purchased a used VW Eos and about a week after I brought it home from the dealership, the engine started misfiring. I brought it to PAS and they were extremely helpful, welcoming, and patient. Chris and Matt were both excellent at explaining each diagnosis and making sure I felt taken care of. The mechanics spent countless hours looking into every aspect of the issues with my engine with meticulous care - they even used a boroscope to look inside my engine, and discovered an uncommon issue inside one of the cylinders. The engine ultimately needed to be replaced, and they took care of everything from start to finish. They suggested we reach back out to the dealership since this was a recent purchase, and the dealership ended up paying for all of the repairs. Performance Auto Specialists always made sure I was taken care of, from working with the dealership to explain the issues and source a new engine, and keeping me and my dad updated each step of the way. They are very honest mechanics and I never felt that they tried to "upsell" me like other mechanics have in the past (they pointed out a few things I will eventually need to replace, but ensured me that those upgrades can happen later down the road). They have a small front office and each time I went in, I was greeted by name. It feels like they genuinely care about you and your car - you're not just another customer in their system. Highly recommend Chris and PAS team for their work! I had a mystery issue with my 2014 BMW 5 series that other mechanics in town wanted to charge hundreds of dollars just to diagnose the issue. I felt like other mechanics just want to charge you a lot because of the brand of the car. Chris was so thorough and patient, he and his team really took the time needed to look into the problem, offer fair solutions, even went as far as talking to other mechanics to troubleshoot. They did solve the problem and pricing for work was extremely fair and competitive. Also as a woman, I never felt like they treated me different. Most women have likely been talked down to by mechanics at some point (I have many times in my life) which is disappointing but expected. Chris talked to me the exact same way he did my husband, which meant a lot to me. We will be taking all of our cars to PAS! Cannot recommend them enough!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I came in with an engine code. They ran a generic test and told me to come back tomorrow. When I came back the code was gone and they didn't charge me or try to fix a problem that wasn't there. That level of Integrity is hard to find in an automotive repair shop. I will come back or recommend any future services to this companyEDIT:::::I came in with a rear suspension problem. The front desk took their time to make notes about my issue as well as using extreme caution when lifting my car due to underglow underneath.They gave me a fair estimate and did not try to charge me for anything extra that was not needed. They offered a rental car coupon as well as a reasonable time to get my car the next day. I have been driving for the past day and have noticed any problems so far. My car came back clean as well as with a 2 year 24k mile warranty. Thank you guys for your service.

For almost 10 years this place has kept my cars running like new! I usually do my own work in heavily modifying my cars from BMW M3/5 to Mercedes C/E63s but a professional touch is needed sometimes and these guys go above and beyond for you like family. Great work! Great prices! Great people!

Im so happy I did my research and decided to come to PAS to get work done on my car. I brought in my car with 230k miles and after I got it back it ran better than it has in a long time, & now my A/C is back to working too which is necessary in this NC heat. They will make sure you are informed the whole way through and even checked up on everything after the repairs were done. Their quality work is backed with a 2 year/24k mile warranty so you don t have to worry about things going wrong down the road. Overall the service was informational, fast, fair priced, and well done. I will be coming back for sure. Thank you!!

PAS is my go to Mechanic. They are transparent and keep you updated on your vehicle through out the day. The team over at Performance always takes care of my car anytime I need to bring it in. We all know that anytime your car needs to be taken into a shop it s a huge headache, not here. They do their absolute best to get your vehicle back to you in a swift manner while still maintaining quality work. There aren t a lot of shops that deal with European automotive well, Performance does. Do yourself a favor and check them out!
