They would do good work, and act honest, but they will charge you money on every little thing they can. They can be a bit more expensive than some other shops in town. OK fine, more money for better quality, I am fine with that, and I would give them a 4 star based on the quality of work they do; except for the last time, when they promised me a recheck of the work they had done. The recheck would have been done for free, but when I brought it back 3 weeks later for the recheck, they charged me for it. When I confronted them, they just brushed it off. I paid because it wasn t a large amount of money, but they now lost a customer (which in the long run would bring in more money to them than the little bit they charged this last time, out of greed.)

Pats provided prompt, friendly, and honest serviceThey were a Godsend for my teenager who had neglected her tires for far too long and didn t realize the perils she was in. Her guardian angel s wings were exhausted and Pats took over from there! They provided 4 new tires, balance, and alignment for a reasonable price, same day (in an emergency situation). Thank you for helping keep my family safe!

Best place in Wilmington for car repair. I dealt w/ David. He is professional and kind. I just love dealing with Pat's Auto. This is my second repair there and both times have been a great experience!

Pat's has an amazing crew! One of their review papers asks "How would you describe us to your friends?" - to answer with all honesty, I would describe all of the staff at Pat's as family. They treat you like family through and through. I have come multiple times for multiple issues with my 2 vehicles and I have left exceedingly satisfied every time. They are never to busy for you and they give you complete honesty. As a female out in the world, sometimes being ill knowledgable about cars can be frustrating, not knowing if you are getting taken advantage of. But, in my experience, Pat's has never been anything but helpful, kind, and trustworthy. I recommend this business to all of my local friends and even visiting friends and family for their car necessities. THANK YOU PAT'S!

Paid 2500 dollars for all new everything on brakes, calipers locked up first day then worpped my roders had to pay for all new roders and calipers 1600 more dollars I didn't have. I wouldn't let these people work on my car or truck

Spent $2500 in repairs on my breaks. Caliper's locked up rotors worpped the first day Would not recommend going to this place. And then they don't wanna make it right with me

They were excellent! Mom of 5 on my own, new to the area and had trouble with my brakes. I was nervous but they made me feel comfortable and they helped me as a walk in with same day turn around! Wish i can give a negative star! I was told it would cost $350 to change car battery on BMW X5, which i thought was pretty high. I got a call later in the day w the guy telling me it was gonna be over $425. I refuse the service. The guy told me it's pretty hard to get to the battery but bought a battery from autozone for $125(high end)... quick YouTube search and I change it myself in 15 mins. Highly don't recommend going there, especially if you have a higher end vehicle... they will try to take advantage of you. Also my daughter wanted to get her AC unit fix. She took it to Pat's for the convenience of the day. I told her not to go but she gave them a chance, Paid over $600 and AC still doesn't work. Lane!!!!

These are big time crooks. I'm surprised they are still in business and not in jail.They would definitely take advantage of you if you are a woman and they think you don't know any better. One time I went there for an inspection (they were advertising it cheaper than other shops at that time). My husband had just checked the car right before I went there, so I knew everything should've been fine.They told me one of the bulbs wasn't working and said in a very rude and arrogant manner that I had to pay them to replace it and they wouldn't give me my car back until I did. I was taken aback, I was in a waiting room and asked them to show me which bulb was out of order, they took me to the car and of course everything was working,and they suddenly said "Oh, we're sorry, we made a mistake..".Women beware! That's how they operate. They have you wait in the waiting room or make you leave and wouldn't let you see your car to show you the problem and would make up a problem to scam and overcharge you. It has happened to other people too, and men too.

Had a great experience at Pat's Tires when I needed to get my brake pads replaced. I had procrastinated on getting this done and all 4 pads and rotors had to be done, but Pat's got me in quickly and at a reasonable price. Customer service was great too! And I enjoyed watching the three shop kitties while waiting for my ride to pick me up.Service: Auto brake repair

Our son took his Subaru in to get an inspection. After leaving it for an hour they called and said he didn t have a license plate light and wouldn t pass inspection. It would be $600 to install it. My son told them he had a light it must be burnt out and he would replace it. Then they said his drive belt was cracked and they would not pass the car and that would be $125. He said he would do that as well and asked them to not do anything he would pick up the car. They are scammers! DO NOT USE THEM! THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUNG PEOPLE! 50 years of service has resulted in POOR SERVICE!

Been taking our cars to another place which has a name that is opposite of white. Service went downhill and needed a few things done to my 2016 Mustang. Pats is just around the corner so took it in this past Monday. Lot was full. Was met by very courteous and friendly staff. I needed a/c checked, blower motor making noise, windshield fluid not functioning, oil change and state inspection. Figured the car would be gone a few days. Was called the next day and all done. Vent was stuck, Freon needed topped off, and the windshield fluid lines just needed blown out. Another place woulda tried to sell me on motors and whatever. Not here at Pats. I brought my truck in for a check engine light I been going here for some time now and to no surprise I am very happy with them I talked to Dave and in detail he told me to bring my truck to ford because my converter which was bad and would of cost me 2500 was under warranty with Ford they took the time and energy to save me so much money and this was not the first time they saved me money.Thankyou!! You guys rock!!

Done with Pat's: 90 minute wait for an $100+ oil change. Great for fixing difficult problems, but don't go for routine maintenance.

Shout out to Jon for being awesome and efficient. We had to come in unexpectedly and they made it easy to get through the process. The manager was super helpful and friendly. The front desk person (who was new) couldn't have been more kind. I will definitely use their services again. They are fairly priced and are honest.

Had car inspected. Oil Change,new windshield wipers, checked brake pads and told me they were fine. Many shops would just change them. Pat's is my GO to shop. They are extremely honest. I've been going to Pat's for years and I won't take my car anywhere else! They do a great job with regular maintenance and troubleshooting when I have an unexpected issue. They are always kind and helpful. Big shout out to Pat's Auto Service Center. Came down from Virginia with my 2 daughters and grandson to kite festival and had very low pressure in 1 of my tires. Took my car there. They took advantage of me. I came in and asked for an oil change. They did not tell me what type of oil they would use or how much anything would cost. They charged me $80 just for the oil change! Ridiculous. I asked why it was so expensive, and they said because they used synthetic oil (which, like I said, was not discussed with me), it was more expensive. The reviews made this seem like a reputable place, but I am sad to say that they cheated me. Avoid this place.Service: Oil change

Had my air conditioner service there and they did a great job. On my way home my car has issues, They picked the car up fixed the issues and didn't even charge me.Class act all the way.

I rarely write reviews however, this business deserves 5-stars. I travel the country with a vehicle in tow that has a slow leak in a tire. Two tire shops in two different states were unable to detect the leak, they were more interested in selling a set of tires. I arrive at Pat's without an appointment, $24 and 30-minutes later I'm driving away with the nail in my hand they removed from my tire. Great service, thank you!

Went here to get a tire plugged. These guys are awesome. Fast friendly service. I would recommend not going until nine. Even though the business hours say they open at 8 the technicians do not come in until 9.

Best auto and tire service in town. David Mays is a service manager and he is always honest, friendly, and accurate with his estimates. He keeps you informed about the progress of your repair and gets your car back to you ASAP. Highly recommend this business.
