I took a vehicle by and had Neil look at it. He was booked out a few weeks solid which I understood. A week or so later they had something open up and he was able to get me in earlier. The paint and body work turned out great! Looks like a brand new car again. They even saw my headlights bulbs were about out so they swapped them out as well. They deliver top notch service and took great care of my car. I would highly recommend, if I ever need a body shop again I know who I'll call!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Considering the endless 5 star reviews that have been given already, there is no point in writing another one. However, because the service was so great, and because I was told by Mr. Smith to leave a review, here s another one. Without a doubt worth the time and money. They are quick, efficient, friendly. They will take you in fast and ask few questions. A breath of fresh air from scammy auto shops and uptight professional shops. 10/10 would recommend.Service: Body & Trim

Neil and his group are extremely professional and trustworthy. I have used this shop in the past and every time I ve been very pleased with the final results. The quality of their work is nothing less than exceptional and meticulous. I recently brought my vehicle by the shop on short notice and Neil was more than accommodating to work me in to his busy schedule and he even completed the job well ahead of the original completion date. I couldn t be more pleased with Neil s quality workmanship, honesty and overall exceptional service.

A mechanic friend referred me to Neil after I had a less than favorable experience with the shop my insurance company sent me to. I'm so glad he did. Everything about their service was on point. Neil and his crew answered all my questions and explained everything clearly and honestly, dealt with every nuance of the insurance claim and assuaged my paranoia about getting screwed by my insurance company, and did high quality work efficiently and with transparency. They even made the effort to return my car cleaner, on the inside and out, than I had probably ever seen it. Highly recommended.

I was so pleasantly surprised when I went to pick up my car! Neil went way above and beyond what I expected. He did extra work for me with no extra charge because he is a perfectionist in every way. My car looks beautiful! I highly recommend him. He s truly the best!

I am so pleased with the paint work done by Neil Smith paint and body shop!! It was done very quickly and all of the staff were extremely helpful and professional. When I picked up my 4runner, it was cleaned inside and out and looked so amazing!!! I am incredibly impressed with the work that Neil and his team did on my car. They are entirely professional and explain their process and recommendations in detail every step of the way. I went in for a free estimate on damage to a rental car. Neil was extremely helpful and professional.He provided me with an honest review of the car and printed off the estimate. He even fixed my door so it would open and close fully. Highly recommend.

Great courteous and professional service! The car hood bend was corrected and latches securely again. The grille and bumper got touched up too which was above and beyond. I can t say enough about this body shop or Neal and his staff. My Land Rover was hit from the back corner side and needed body and paint repair. Neal s body shop did a fabulous job and restored it back to its beautiful condition! I could not have been happier. They were friendly, timely, and professional. Ironically, while my vehicle was being repaired someone bumped into my other vehicle which happens to be a Porche Boxster. I did not think twice about where it will be repaired. It is already being scheduled at Neal s Body Shop! Normally I would have been very upset by this being the second time in a row! But, there were zero worries that it will be returned to me; perfect, the way it was before someone bumped into it. I won t take my vehicles anywhere but Neal s! Services: Painting, Body & Trim

WOW !!! I had a front bumper repair and had an estimate of 4 days to repair, it was done in less than 2 days !VERY knowledgeable and professional company and family business ! Neil did an EXCELLENT job on a Tacoma that I bought from the dealer. Before I bought it, there was a bad scratch and dent in the tailgate. When the truck came back from Neil, I could not even tell where the dent was and it looked like a brand new truck again. Paint quality was top notch, everything matched perfectly and no orange peal. If I need any more work in the future, I will be coming back here. Thank you Neil for the great job!!! I wish every business was this good with a great experience like I had with Neil.

Neil and his guys do a great job. They've helped me several times. I hope I don't need to visit again...but when I need excellent body work at a fair price I'll go back for sure. Great work, great customer service. Stays busy but thats good. It's worth the wait if it takes a few days for him to get to you. I recommend them for sure.

They fixed a bumper that was a little out of place after a minor collision right on the spot and did not charge me! It was a very pleasant experience waiting the short time for them to finish as the estimator sitting with us was very pleasant. The boss himself fixed our car while we waited. WOW! By far, the best service I have ever had in Wilmington. Wrecked my truck on tuesday, got it back 10 days later better than it was when I bought it 8 years ago. Not only did they fix the body work, they also detailed it and fixed a rattle (that drove me insane) in a door not affected by the crash. Talk about "ABOVE AND BEYOND," these guys know their stuff and do a damn good job! You would be absolutely crazy to go anywhere else! The price is reasonable, the quality of work is excellent, the owner is AWESOME and the timeline far exceeded my expectations. I am thrilled to death with their work. Thank you again, Neil Smith, for making that so easy and stress-free!!!!

My wife and I would like to thank Neil, he personally took care of our 2017 platinum Highlander after an accident, was VERY meticulous in what he dicussed with us on what would need to be repaired and the entire process of the repair and time frame. He followed up with us as he stated he would the first day. He did a Awesome job on the repair and put the vehicle which was almost brand new, back to factory showroom condition! There was a slight rattle that was extremely hard to pinpoint, to the highlander took it back to Neil 3 weeks after the repair, even though Neil also said those are extremely hard to find when I arrived, Neil spent over an hour with me and the vehicle, ( again 3 weeks after the repair was completed ) and found the slight rattle noise and fixed it! We are so impressed with Neil and his body shop, I recommend him for any of your body shop needs! I know most places would have said, we won t be able to find it and have you be on your way, not here! Neil even said if you find something else in the future come back and I ll fix it! Thank you Neil and your team, y all are the only body shop we will use if the need arises. Y all are awesome and we are 100% satisfied and customers for life, ( hopefully not needed, lol ).Chris and Jennifer Andrews

Did a fantastic job fixing up damage from a minor fender bender. Finished on time from the estimate they gave. Worked seamlessly with insurance company and rental agency to help arrange my ride and coordinate my drop off. Car was fully detailed on pickup as an added bonus. They were booked out for a while so took some time to get my appointment, but well worth the wait. Will go back and refer to others every time.

I have called Neil for advice as well as for work to be done on several vehicles of mine over the years. I have always found Neil and his team to be fair and honest with me, which is sometimes hard to come by in the automotive industry. In all fairness, Neil seems like a very nice guy and I felt good about the choice when I left my car here. There is no doubt about that and he has a 5 star rating which was why I chose this shop.But this shop RUINED the paint on my car- and just a week after I bought it. Annihilated it. Destroyed it. It looks like a 5 year old did the job.I brought it in to have some recent cat scratches (stray cat jumping on my new car) buffed away, which Neil told me would be the right step in lieu of paying to repaint my hood.When I picked up my car, got it home and looked at it in the sun to admire their work I was horrified to see that there where now undulating holographic "burn marks" (per two subsequent body shops) and deep swirls in my paint. If you have ever seen a really bad buff job, you know exactly what Im talking about. The job was done improperly, plain and simple. This damage comes from improper buffing; applying too much pressure or a excessive rotary speed during the buffing process. It now looks AWFUL and my clear coat is TOAST. Done.Now I have cat scratches AND buffing damage.Neil admitted that he let one of his guys do the job and "shouldn't have done that." He DID offer for me to bring my car back in which I absolutely declined to do. There is no way that I am taking my car back to the shop that ruined my paint to do more damage. In the end I just threw away $125 for the buff job and Ill HAVE to repaint my hood to the tune of $800.Going here actually cost me money because there is not enough clear coat left for a proper, professional quality buff.Never once was I offered my money back which I call bad business as they are 100% liable for the damage they have done to my car.Sadly, I cannot recommend this shop and truly regret coming here.
