Kelvin (at the Wilmington site) is quite helpful. I concur that the $45 fee for a missed test is exorbitant. It would've been nice to be forewarned that the unit will drain-down your vehicle's battery if the vehicle stays idle for too long (roughly two days).

This process was surprisingly less stressful than I thought it would be. Never had a problem with customer service and every appointment was fast and Kelvin was a great guy so it made the experience even easier!

I had a blow box with this company in the late 2019 to the early 2020. I completed the time that I had to have it in my vehicle and made sure all fines and monitech was paid in full. I was applying for a mortgage for my first house and there was a Nick on my credit report from monitech for $2,126. Credit collection place tell me that I owe monitech this money for not returning equipment and past due fees which I closed out years ago and now it's still on my credit report. I called monitech and the collection agency multiple times asking them to take care of this. Everybody's that I talked to were rude and disrespectful!!! Also they we're not really willing to try to help me resolve this issue. These people are crooks . I got denied the loan because of this. I will be sueing them!!

If you want to be charge for multiple missed arrival blows that cost 45 each visit even after blowing and having it on video or have a false alcohol test that will cost you over $2,000 or make you replace you battery because the device will kill you battery. Then this is the company to be extorted by to drive your own car. Don t forget if you can t get a appointment within the 3 day point for a reset you are forced to pay over the phone or force you two drive hours away to not be help. Will be starting a lawsuit for all the headache this POS company has cause for the lost wages and time from having this in my car. When it doesn t even stop people from driving.

This is the worst company ever. if anyone ever gets a DWI do not ever go to monitech.I had a faulty interlock thet went off for no reason at all laying on my passenger seat, said I was abusing the machine, got a notice in the mail 2 weeks later and cause me to lose my license for one year.. Got them back. I had to have the interlock again. The only reason I chose monitech again I had an appointment last Friday. It locked me out of my car permanently trying to get to my interlocked appointment. I was on the phone for four hours with them on hold. I called 16 times on my phone and four times on a friend's phone it has me on permanent lockout I can't even get to my appointment,It has been 3 days and no one has called me back and they're supposed to call you backor drive my car

My experiences have been nothing but positive. I have always been treated with respect and a non-judgmental approach. I am so impressed with the professionalism and exactness (no-nonsense and to-the-point) shown each time. I only do these reviews when I truly feel someone deserves recognition. I hope that Kelvin and Marcus are recognized for their exemplary work ethics.

I have tried to be patient with Monitech multiple times but the customer service is just awful. Over the past 2.5-3 weeks I have spoken to a handful of different reps and I have had only 1 person answer my question, in a way that makes sense. But to my surprise, I call back to verify an appointment time to find out That s not how we do. And there s no one higher up to talk to apparently.Do yourself a favor and please do not choose this company. Go with Smart Start or something else.And I would say that I d be open to editing this review if we can get this resolved but it seems like Monitech has already deleted my first review. Very professional.
