Everybody at Hendrick Dodge was very helpful and competent. Nick Sawyer was especially nice, understanding and so easy to talk to. I also want to say that Nick gets Ten 10s for listening to what I was looking for on our phone call and then having the perfect car picked out for me when I arrived. I had previously visited every car lot in Wilmington but had not found the perfect car for me. My new Dodge Charger is Perfect for me and I am falling more in love with it every day. Thank you to Nick Sawyer At Hendrick Jeep Dodge.

Bought a 19 Ram 1500 from Hendricks Pre-owned lot on Market Street. Anna was very professional and awesome to work with as she really took the time to make sure I found what I needed in a vehicle. Jim and Mike sat down with me in the office and really made the car buying experience as seamless and comfortable as possible. While other dealers I ve been to have acted pushy, the team at Hendricks were fantastic and were overall a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend to friends and family on their next vehicle purchase.

The staff at Hendrick was great especially Jamie Greene. She was trying to find me what I wanted within my price range without being pushy or showing me cars outside my price range. I would definitely go back for any future cars and recommend them to others.

AJ @ Hendrick preowned in Wilmington NC provided the level of transparency I didn t get the last time I got a vehicle from the Hendrick Chrysler dealership. He was well informed/educated about the vehicles in his inventory as well the selling process overall. AJ also made sure I was well taken care of after the sale was completed. Only complaint I have is that the process took about 7hrs to complete. Surely there s a more efficient way to conduct business!

Staff was friendly, but....I live an hour and a half away. I saw a truck I was interested in and made arrangements to leave work early one day to come see it. Messaged the salesman and told him when I would be coming as he requested and he said good to go. Literally as I was pulling into the parking lot I get a text that they double booked the truck for test drive and someone was coming from 3 hours away so I would have to wait for them to see it first.... even though I was also traveling a distance and taking time from work, and got there first. So we stood around waiting another 15 minutes for the other people to get there then another 30 to 45 minutes while they test drove and decided to buy. So a wasted trip.Meanwhile I asked for a quote on a trade in. Now, my truck had a discrepancy on the carfax - although contextually it is obviously an error I have been fighting with carfax since I bought the truck. (No accident, no police report but supposedly severe body damage to everything - which was never fixed, despite the truck being visibly flawless.) So they declined purchase because corporate beurocracy... whatever, I get it, no big deal. But I asked them to send me a copy of the carfax to my email and they said they would, no problem. Then didn't.Seem like nice people but I'm not terribly impressed with their customer service.

No issues with any part of the car buying process. TJ Riley was a class act, as was the entire management and finance team. Collectively, they always started at Yes and worked to get us the vehicle we wanted thereafter. Would 100% recommend for anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

I have contemplated leaving a review after my husband and I went to this location with hopes of buying a used vehicle. The first vehicle we looked at was a 2017 grand caravan with 135k miles for $10k. Looked decent, minus some rust areas in the hood. Since the vehicle we purchase will be my primary vehicle, I was the test driver. The salesman, John, took me inside the dealership to get all of my info and a copy of my license (which I ve never had happen before, but whatever). During that time, I was shown the CARFAX. It had 2 minor accidents. Not bad enough for the airbags to deploy. I learned it came from Ohio and had only been driven 10k miles since 2021. That kind of struck me as odd, but it was whatever. While I was inside, my husband, a mechanic, and our son looked over everything thoroughly and found that one of the seatbelts was significantly damaged. It had chunks of material out in several places. We let John know. He didn t seem too worried about it, but instead was quite pushy with taking it for a test drive. I was trying to tell my husband about the carfax and get his input on it, but John seemed to be in a hurry to just test drive. It was a couple hours away from closing time, so that could be why he was just ready to test drive it. John and I had to drive to the building so he could get screws for a plate. During that time, my husband and I decided the 2017 was a no go. Instead, we d check out the 2018 caravan with 78k miles for $15k instead. As soon as I let off the brake of the 2018, there was a significant amount of squeaking. Almost sounded like the struts were bad, but at the same time, it didn t. It was strange because it did it even when the surface was flat. We get onto the interstate and head back. The front end did feel strange, but kind of hard to determine the cause. I ve dealt with my fair share of bad struts and it wasn t like that.We get back and John goes inside. I tell my husband it squeaks in a weird way and does it the whole time. The wind drowns out the noise, but it s still there. We did the normal push down a few times with the hood up to see if it was the struts. It didn t squeak until the 5th or 6th push and it was faint. The manager comes out during that last one and asks if we re trying to figure out the squeak. Yep. We were. He said someone was there 3 hours earlier and he had to go see what the paperwork said the squeak was from but the price was lowered to compensate for the squeak. He doesn t come out to tell us, but John does and he said it was possibly a bearing or bushing, but he was still pretty darn clueless. Both said it would be a hard no for it to be fixed before (or after) purchase because the price was lowered for it. Red flags galore with this place. I let John know I stood FIRM on my choice of loan and that I was not interested in their financing, ONLY my preference. He STILL wanted to run our credit to see the rates we d get. On top of that, he BRIBED us saying that IF we used THEIR financing they WOULD fix the vehicle prior to selling it to us, but if we went with OUR financing choice, it absolutely wouldn t be. When he realized I don t give in under pressure, he said that after I talk to my financing option about it and the vehicle was still there, he would bargain with the manager to fix the vehicle.Look, I may be a female &may look way younger than I am, but I m not easily pressured and I can see red flags quickly. I am married to a mechanic, most of the men in my family are mechanics, I am a mechanic myself, you can t possibly dupe me into believing that a small fix like a bearing/strut/etc would knock off a significant amount of money. It would have to be something significantly wrong for it to be knocked off. If I am spending $15k, plus whatever the amt is, used or not, I m not driving off of a lot with a vehicle that needs work done. I darn sure don t need a car salesman to tell me that it would be an upgrade from my 2013 Durango with 276k miles that has been great to me the last 7 years. Not if the car I m buying needs work before I buy it.

I had to purchase a new car because of a deer totaled mine. I went in and saw the car I wanted, but had not gotten the money yet. They said that it might be gone by the time I got back, but God had another plan. The sales person Jerry was great and I was approved. My payment is good, and my Equinox is wonderfu. Happy, happy. Yay!

Was greeted very nicely when I arrived and they will go through anything to make sure that you get the car that you want. I was very satisfied with the service and if I had the money I would buy another car through them.

My on-site visit at this Hendrick location was excellent from start to finish, during the process of purchasing a car for my granddaughter. Our sales agent, Jackson, was very cordial and honest. He listened, and did not try to oversell or distract us to higher priced vehicles.Jackson took us directly to the car, which suited us best for condition, mileage, and pricing. He is definitely not like the usual "used car salesmen", which I have encountered during my 60 years of buying cars!I also want to mention our positive experience with Melissa in the Finance office. She was friendly, competent, and answered all our questions. Excellent all-around service here!

We went to Hendrick preowned to look at Jeeps. We were greeted by Jackson Bardsley who showed us several Jeeps. He was very polite and very knowledgeable about the cars. He explained how everything works and took us for a test drive. Once we decided which Jeep we wanted he started the process. Our entire experience with him was absolutely fantastic. He was very professional and thoughtful. I m sure anyone who meets him will appreciate his work and support.

Would not recommend going here. We were looking to purchase a pre-owned truck, and our sales agent, Jackson, was very dishonest with us. He had looked up the truck that we were interested in, and told us that it was located in Georgia and that it would be a $500 transfer/reinspection fee added onto the total cost of the truck. We found out later that day, that the truck was actually located at the Jacksonville, NC dealership - which is only 45 mins away! To make matters worse, the truck sold the next morning! Will never go back here again!

So we purchased a jeep from this place and all seemed good. Until after we signed all the papers then they spring on us there s only one key fob. So now if I get locked out I will have to call somebody to come out and unlock the car for me each and every time! And what if I lose it then we will have to go thru all the trouble and getting someone out to cut a new key and pay a very expensive fee. I can t just call my husband to bring the extra key. So when we travel or anything even everyday driving he s worried about me needing an extra key. And now the dang thing rattling in the back. I had high hopes for this place now I will not be recommending it no body!!UPDATE!!So after we contacted them per their request we went down there for them to completely waste our time! They solved absolutely nothing. I took Mike A. for a ride so he could hear the rattling. So he gets in and starts talking about my review I left and how bad it hurt them. So once he heard the rattling he gets the service department to look at it so it s the tailgate door. There s 2 bolts loose and they took a wrench and tightened them and charged us $189. So my husband called Mike A. to see what could be done about the ridiculous amount of money and Mike gets rude and says WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT! So now we are out of $189 for the tailgate and $230 we had to pay to get another key made. Which I know they lessened the amount they gave to the previous owner for the missing key. So all in all a very bad experience. Is this the way you treat a senior citizen/ disabled veteran? How disgusting!

This was my very first time buying a car, but Steven made everything so easy! He worked with me to find cars that I liked, and were within my budget (something not very easy). Steven was so friendly, and was really honest and personable, which was really refreshing. I never felt like he was trying to pull any tricks with me. Everyone at the dealership was so kind, especially our financier Melissa. 100% recommend!!!

I had an outstanding experience here. Samantha was a huge help and made everything run smoothly. We live 2 hours away, and they went out of their way to get papers signed and made everything work. I never felt pressured or a burden with all my questions, concerns, and needs. Outstanding job and excellent communication even after the sale. Thank you again Hendrick of Wilmington and Samantha.

My husband and I have bought over 20 cars over the years between the main store and the used car lot on Market St.. Mike, Mason and the rest of the crew have went above and beyond to make sure we were happen. I brought Mason breakfast one morning for staying late the day before while we were choosing my next vehicle. They are like family.
