This is really a 10 star review!! My transmission went out on me. I asked around & everybody I spoke to about it told me to call greenfield transmission. So I called spoke to Margie immediately she got right on it. She found me a transmission. She ordered it for me. I paid for the transmission upfront. She told me a date to have my car there. I got the car there on that date. 2 days later I got my car & it works great. She also had a battery & starter put in my car at no extra charge. I am one happy customer!!

Jeep Wrangler transmission did not seem right. Dropped in and checked transmission oil level, added 2 quarts and jeep runs great! Best transmission shop ever!

2011 Ford Fiesta sedan with 100k+ miles was not shifting properly. Took it to Greenfield and they determined clutch motor was the cause. While they ordered the part, they allowed me to keep the car. Part arrived in a little over a week, which is amazing in this current supply issue environment. I had asked that they could fix it in a week since they were not open on weekends. They finished the job on time and under the estimate! Great job and good people. Recommend them highly for any transmission repair.Service: Transmission

Kenny is very reasonable and I'm so grateful for his knowledge of foreign cars. My computer went out in my BMW. He charged me less than half of what other shops in Wilmington would. Good, honest, down to earth people @Greenfield Transmission. Thank you

My 83 Chevy Van's transmission went out. Was quoted $2000 at a national transmission company in town. Took it to Kenny for a second opinion. got it done for $800 less and am not disappointed at all. The price was more than fair, the job was done in a reasonable amount of time. Kenny was upfront with me about everything that would be done and might need to be done when they got into it, communication was great. Was a little worried at first because it's not the prettiest place on the outside but Kenny and his staff took care of me and I'll definitely be back if I have any other problems. The van is back up and running better than it was before and I couldn't be happier.

I took my car in there to have the air conditioner done and it cost a $1,010 to get it fixed. It only problem is they didn't fix the fan switch. I just don't understand how they could look over that. For that amount of money. In this day and age money is scarce to our family because of this pandemic. I hope that I can take my vehicle back into their shop and they will fix my fan switch and the fog lights have don't work anymore.GODSPEED

The transmission in my 97 van with 276,000 plus miles went out recently. My wife's family has used Greenfield Transmission for many years, and was also referred by my local (trusted) mechanic. So I took it to them, and they went out of their way to get my van back ASAP, even staying after the shop closed on a Friday to accommodate my getting a ride to pick it up. Kenny did a fantastic job, and provided a sound warranty. So when our Town Car developed a shudder during acceleration, I asked Kenny about it. He told me a couple of things it could be and suggested bringing it by so he could drive it to narrow down the possibilities. Now he could have really stuck it to me at this point and said it was something major, but instead he was honest and told me exactly what it was. $15 fixed my problem, and the car was good as new. My experience has been nothing but positive, and I trust Kenny and his crew all of my future transmission issues.

The only place in Wilmington I trust to handle any transmission issue! Everything from swaps, to repairing internal problems, they can handle. The staff aren't just YouTube parts swappers, or "techs." They're highly skilled mechanics.

Very nice and helpful. Got a part replaced in my truck quickly and it s ran great with no problems. I will definitely be back if I have transmission problems in the future

Went here for the first time and was impressed with how my car issue was handled. I was shown where the problem was and had it explained to me about what needed to be done. So glad I was recommended to go here from a family member.

Took my car in to have 4th gear replaced. The first time I got it back it drove great for about 2 miles, then it lost 4th gear. Took it back two more times, for a total of 2 months in the shop. They never could get 4th gear fixed. Finally took it to another local transmission shop and they fixed 4th gear in one day and it's been running great since. The people at Greenfield Transmission are nice, but they certainly did not have a clue on how to fix 4th gear.

Took my truck there for repair they wanted to charge me twice as much to repair as anyone else would charge and then had my truck towed costing me 500 dollars for nothing it s a junkyard that are trying to rip people offDONT TAKE YOUR CAR OR TRUCK THERE!
