My fiance came home from getting her tire repaired. She was telling me how the manager James was great. He was dealing with several customers that were less than happy because the service tech's had gotten behind. He was very professional and accommodating. She had to wait more than the hour as promised so James didn't change her for patching her tire.

Kudos to James and the crew! My tire had a nail which they removed and patched at no charge. But while I was waiting, I watched many customers come and go which James managed seamlessly and with a smile. (Even the unhappy one on the phone.) His customer service skills should be rewarded. I will be back when I need new tires.

Would have been a very positive review had I not been made to wait two and a half hours for a twenty minute service. Went over there at 11am to get my front tires replaced (spent over $300), and was kindly told to come back at 2:30. I arrived promptly and sat in there waiting room for two hours while my car sat in the parking lot untouched. It wasn t until I mentioned that I been sitting there for two hours and that I can come back another day (needed to be somewhere at five) that they brought my car in to be serviced. I understand being busy, but be up front with your customers. Someone could have given me a heads up of how long it was going to take and I could have rescheduled or gone home and come back. Instead I was left waiting and was late to my appointment.

By far the best customer service I have received from any tire service company. They are genuinely wanting to help you and provide you with the safest options. The fact that they will do tire repairs at no charge regardless of where you got the tires from is also simply amazing. Highly recommend them for your tire purchasing or service needs.

I bought 4 new tires from this establishment about 4 months ago. After a flat tire last week and ordering a new one from a local shop the we noticed that we ordered the wrong size due to discount tire putting one tire on the front of my car that did not match the rest.When working with them to get this fixed the customer service was extremely poor and and they wanted us to come out of pocket to fix the mistake they had made to begin with.Today after taking my car to get the correct tires put on they would not let me keep the brand new tire I just paid for last week. The manager was very rude and argued with my husband. If you like POOR customer service this is the place to go! Would give them zero stars if it would let me!

This Discount Tire location exceeds my expectations all the time. Because of construction, my tires are taking a beating. Discount Tires is always accommodating, friendly, and efficient. Most importantly, they are trustworthy, NOT shady. Good management is rare these days!

After speaking with someone on the phone I was told ordering online would provide a faster experience. Ordered tires a week ago and scheduled appointment for this morning at 8:30. Scheduled whole work week around this appointment with a trip planned next week. Got a call at 8:00am saying they hadn t even ordered my tires and they were in New Jersey, earliest reschedule was next week.

i had some highly specialized (and very expensive) work done here and it was done quickly and handled professionally. the employee helping me complemented me on my rather expensive taste in tires and assured me it was of the highest quality materials and craftsmanship.

I do not recommend purchasing the lifetime rotation and balance, Discount tire does not stand behind their promise.. especially if your appointment is 1 hr before closing. I purchased the plan for my teenage sons truck. We took the truck in to have a rotation and balance done and the sales associate that singed us in offered us the package, due to the cost of rotation and balance vs the plan cost it was a no brainer to go with the plan. From the day we purchased the plan my son has successfully had the rotation and balance completed twice to include the day the plan was purchased. I ve scheduled appointments because that s the best option for faster service and it s always some type of excuse, he was informed by these tire professionals that balancing his tires would not help. My son has the larger tires and wheels, so it takes to much effort for these guys to complete the work in enough time for them to get off work. Today broke the straw mind you a 5:00 appointment and he got there at 4 with hopes of getting work completed early, well today was another excuse and now rotating or balancing would not be safe (words of the manager) but insisted tried to sale him a $2000+ set of tires. I ve made 3 full set tire purchases and rims including the road hazard and the famous rotation and balance and that ends today, I ll spend my money next door.

Discount Tire was great from start to finish, easy online ordering and appointment set up. James at the Market st location was incredibly nice and efficient. It was a very busy day and I noticed James had the best customer service no matter what was going on. 10/10!

Well they did change my tires so that s good. But the wait time when having an appointment scheduled is ridiculous just for putting tires on a car. A disclaimer should be made when booking an appointment that it s gonna take an hour and 15 minutes

The drive-thru air checking station is all smoke and mirrors. If you have 30 minutes to kill and feel like getting strange looks from the employees and being totally ignored then I highly suggest trying it out!On a side note, the customer service was awesome when I dropped $2,500 on tires here last summer.Suggestion Box Submission: Please install a self service air station.

I cannot say enough good things about DT. Every one I've been to in several towns. Knowledgeable, efficient, and excellent customer service. I always feel like the guys take care of me the same way they would their own mom.

At my 9th hour in their lobby, the place started to feel almost like home. I had the pleasure of waiting 4 hours to find out the tire was unrepairable and that I needed to come back when the replacement was in. Came back right at opening and waited another 5 hours for it to be put on.A long time ago I came here, and they said they could repair run flats tires, which I used to have on my car. Found out later that was not the case and that my tire was on the verge of exploding.I guess I m the stupid one for coming back to the same place.

Awesome experience here, very knowledgeable, great prices and in stock tires, and excellent customer service! Jason and Mallorie were excellent with customer service and answering my many questions. I was in and out 1hr flat with an appointment I made online two days prior. I chose michellin tires, and man what a difference! Very satisfied with the service here. Will be back, and I highly recommend!

Revised update 2/28/22 on new purchase, different vehicle: From 5 star to 4 starWait times have gotten horrible since last time i was here! Got here at 1pm on a Monday for4 brand new tires on my daughters car.Still waiting at 3:30pm, probably wont be out of here till 4 or 4 30 pm they said. I was told they would be done no later than 2:30 at first.My advice, plan on spending a minimum of 4 to 5 hours here. Have someone drop you off so you can still do what you need to do. Still good prices and clean facility.Original review: Simple and easy purchase, affordable, friendly, clean feeling/safe environment. Plus their pricing is aggressive. Priced out other local tire shops in Wilmington, got really nice all terrain truck 20" tires for $800 and some change out the door, mounted and balanced with warranty . Other places were $1200 to $1600.They gained a new loyal customer today. Looking forward to purchasing more tires for my other vehicles.

James and his entire team of award winning technicians are truly impeccable and deserve to be commended for their ability to take care of their customers. Meanwhile, I found the product, the price, and the place to be matchless. I consider James and his team to be true friends. You'd expect discounted services would come along with a Discount Tire name; yet my experience from Jersey to the Carolinas was unexpectedly the opposite!A very professional operation across the board: From cleanliness and comfortability in their waiting area; to a very immaculately clean yet very organized garage being serviced by matching knowledgeable employees.Oh, did I forget to mention the the safety of their social distancing participation and the cleanliness of the men's room?Sorry ladies but I can't speak for your area so you'll have to go in when you visit, especially their; Market St. Discounts Tire location in Wilmington NC before 5:pm.Great joy and thank you for my RunFlat Tires!!I'm J 7 and I approve this message.

Waited two hours for a job they said would take 25 minutes. Looks like they are having a perpetual standing around and talking contest. They get your money and then tell you that you are going to be there for half your day.

Stopped In to get nail removed from Tire that was previously purchased from This Location, was told It would be a 4 hour wait by Older Gentlemen with Bald head, 4 Hours for a nail /Plug A 5 to 10 Min Quick Fix , Can Not do anymore business here, I Come to Goodyear and they gave me a 10 minute window for a priority quick fix .. And my Tires where not purchased with them..True Disappointment

I can't say enough about how great Discount Tire is as a company and this location in particular. Tyler was very helpful and friendly. When I pulled up he greeted me by name and assessed the situation quickly. I was in and out in less than 40 mins from start to finish. I have gotten wheels and tires from DT for years on and off and always come back. The staff at the locations I have visited were always knowledgeable and professional and got the job done quickly and at a great price. I have never felt I was "oversold" on things I didn't need. Their financing, protection plans, and online scheduling are both awesome and convenient. I'm definitely a life long customer!

Be very careful getting your tire patched here. They will tell you the hole is too big and can t be patched (the hole was extremely small on the inside of the tire and was easily patched by the next place I took It to). And also will keep your tire without telling you.

For a place whose sole job is to mount tires, they do an horrendous job and rush through all projects. I brought my car in and they broke one lug nut and chipped 2 of my 2000$ wheels on site. A week later at my house I'm working on my car to fix the problems they left me and found out 3 more lug nuts were cross threaded (2 on each front) now I'm out another 150$ in parts to fix it myself. If you want your vehicle properly taken care of Discount Tire is not for you.

I stopped in to have the sensors replaced on my tires. I was told that it would be a 2 1/2 to 3-hour wait. Due to my busy schedule, I decided to wait the three hours as a walk-in instead of coming back. After four hours i left to grab something to eat, and after six hours, I finally received a text stating that my car was ready.

I usually like to support local businesses, but when I heard about the nationwide coverage on their roadhazard warranty, I was very intrigued. They will even reimburse you if you have to buy a tire at a different store because there isn't a discount tire in the town you're in need of repair. I called an hour before close just to check the cost and availability. They told me they could get the new tires installed that same day. I arrived about 45 minutes before close, and they were very busy. I was skeptical of the job being completed before close when I saw how many vehicles were ahead of me. I walked in, and everyone was very attentive and kind. The prices were reasonable, and they had all 4 tires completed before close. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend anyone looking for new tires to try them out.

Will organized tire shop that keep their appointed times well structured. They get the customer in and out within the hour, if possible. They include free balancing and tire rotation with the purchase of tires for the life of the tires.

I ve gone by here twice for free air checks. Both times the associate was very polite and professional. Tread is wearing down fast on my Hankook s and the MOD informed me of how the tread life warranty replacement works for Hankook. Don t qualify yet but will soon. Will be taking my other car there for tires in a few weeks!
