Stopped in to Cape Fear Customs in Wilmington NC to assist with aftermarket modifications to my new 2024 Wrangler Sahara. They were extremely helpful and took the time to assist me in finding the exact parts I wanted and made recommendations that I had not thought of. We ended up installing a 2.5" AVE suspension lift, 20" Fuel wheels, 35x12.5 Toyo's, front and rear Westin bumpers with square lights, a Superwinch up front, blackout badges, and electronic rock slide engineering sidesteps.They were wonderful to work with, delivered within the timelines as quoted, and provided several calls to keep me updated on the progress. Even one of the items that would not work for a 2024 model was sent back without charging me even though the product was ordered and attempted to be installed.They were very knowledgeable and professional. The service is great and at a fair price. I definitely recommend them if you have any questions or needs about upgrading.Big shoutout to Matt for all his help and recommendations to make my new Wrangler exactly what I was hoping it would be.

Matt and his team at CFC knocked it out of the park on the work they did on my 21 Wrangler. The experience from start to finish was top notch. Matt was incredibly knowledgeable, and helped to guide me through all the various options in getting the look I desired for my Jeep and it turned out PERFECT and all of the work was done in just one day. I can tell they take great pride in what they do and are totally committed to their customer s desired results. I will be going back soon for more mods to my Jeep. An overall great experience, highly recommend.

Russ and the entire team did an outstanding job with our truck. Installed the air lifts and where they put the fill tips was ingenious. Would highly recommend them for any modification to your truck.Needed tires for the truck. The showed me several options. Finally went with the Nitto tires vs Stock tires. Love the look of the truck better.

This place is a grown up playground. The detail and care they put in to your rig makes the difference. As invested as you are in your project, they match and help get creative to make it what you dreamed. Incredible staff, pricing and detail. Highly recommend. If you want a professional job done, this is the spot. Also be prepared to shop the eye candy they are building with custom crawlers and off grid trailers etc. nothing else like it. Go!!

The staff was completely understanding over my situation, and got everything I needed quoted, and completed.I love how they truly care about you, and your vehicles health more than dollar signs. I will most definitely be bringing my business back to here compared to any other place in Wilmington.

Great experience getting a suspension ordered and installed. Matt was able to answer my questions and set me on the right path with my suspension choice. Prices were reasonable and the work was done well on the time schedule they originally quoted. Truck is perfectly level and the ride has been transformed.

Went in for a question, which was do my crossbars need to be adjusted to fit a tent a few hours later I walked out with a new roof top tent. Same day installation. (Tent was in stock at the shop) the guys at CFC went above and beyond to answer all the random questions I had as well as showing me the ins and outs of a few things around the shop. I m happy with the new addition and can t wait for my next camping trip to try it. To Rob and the rest of the team thank you again!

Update September 2023: CFC has re-applied the undercoat and it looks great. CFC is accommodating and super easy to work with, and their customer service is excellent. Hoping the third times the charm and the undercoat lasts a good long while.Update May 2023: Undercoat is peeling again after 2 years. So far this undercoat has required attention every year or so. CFC has offered to fix the undercoat. Definitely still recommend working with CFC, just unsatisfied with the Line-X product so far.Update: found some peeling undercoat, brought the Jeep in the next day and they fixed it up, apologized for the inconvenience and sent me on me way. Still recommend Despite the mixed reviews I ve heard, I brought my Wrangler JKU to Cape Fear Customs to get an undercoat. I couldn t find anyone else in town to do an undercoat, or come close to the price at CFC. They did a rust conversion spray and the undercoat. They were easy to work with, accommodated my schedule and I am happy with the result. It s only been a couple weeks but so far so good. Would recommend working with Landon and getting an undercoat at CFC.

EDIT: Store manager called me up, I didn't even have to call them.. he wanted to make it right and they completely did! Offered to pick up my car for a new upder spray and everything! Customer service is outstanding here!! Still wish it could have been done right the first time because finding rides into town when I live 35 mins from the shop is fairly difficult.I dropped my truck off for the linex undercoat spray and cavity protection.. Let me start with the bad and then move to the good.THE BAD: clear as day large spots missed. On one side of the truck some spots were done that were not done on the other side. I'm not sure if the tech forgot some spots or got lazy but for 775$ I would have expected much better.THE GOOD: the front desk people are kind and friendly. Prices were reasonable but I would have paid the extra 100$ to get it done elsewhere and get it all done instead of spotty work.The in between: got it done a day early, not sure if it's because they only did part of the truck and not the entire thing.Pictures include some of the good! Some of the spots missed and the last two are of the same spot same part but different sides of the truck. Like I said they did one side but not the other.

These guys lifted my 2018 JL and we just had my wife s Jeep set up for flat towing. The crew here is awesome, thanks everyone at CFC , I m glad we have a place like this here in Wilmington.

Matt and Jake resolved an issue I had with my Line-X tonneau cover. They worked with Line-X and ordered/received the needed parts and handled the installation. Very pleased and will continue to support their business.

These guys are the real deal! They installed a 5.29 differential and 35 tires for me and what an amazing job!! Jonathan and the rest of the guys are so helpful and informative. Will most definitely use these guys again!10 out of 10 10 being most excellent!

Great experience with the folks at Cape Fear! They are the experts on all things Jeep. We flat tow our Jeep Wrangler with a Roadmaster towing system and AirForce 1 braking system. CFC troubleshot and rewired the entire electrical system in just a couple days. Thoroughly pleased with the results! We will definitely be taking our Jeep back for any future work.

I took my truck in to have some wheels and tires put on while I was out of the country.The truck needed some modifications to make the wheels/tires fit.Jonathan was there every step, keeping me informed on how progress was going. Needed suspension work done on my Sprinter van. The service was amazing and staff were all friendly. Matt was very responsive and helped find the perfect sway bar for my vehicle. Will bring my van here for all future upgrades. Highly recommend this business!

Great service. They will actually show you what s wrong with your vehicle and explain why it needs to be fixed. They use high quality parts and do great work. I don t like taking my truck anywhere else.

I brought a Land Cruiser that I imported from Japan in to get some work done on it. All staff and owner were incredibly helpful with working through finding parts needed for an import, understanding of the difficulties of working on something that was never released in America and helped me get my cruiser back up and running amazingly. Also had a color match for linex on the roof of the vehicle and it looks amazing and will definitely keep the vehicle nicer than before! I will always go back for any off road needs and any upgrades to future vehicles!

I bought a used Ram 3500 6.7 H.O. I called ahead about an Amp Research step that opens out when you open the door. It was hitting my truck bed leading edge where the lower corner is, if they could fix it. They said bring it by and we'll take a look. When I got there a guy named Aaron came out and looked. He compared both side and said it is mounted on a rail and just simply needs to be adjusted and slid to align it. He took some tools to the truck and did it for free. I expected to pay $150-200 for the adjustment.

This is my first time using these guys, but it will definitely be the beginning of a very long relationship. I had them install a set of Rock Slide Powered running board steps for my Jeep Gladiator. The entire experience was a 5 star experience. Jonathon and Russ were fantastic to deal with, and very knowledgeable about what I needed. The installation by the guys in the Back is spot on and my very short girlfriend loves the powered steps as she gets in and out of my Gladiator much easier. I will be bringing my vehicle as well as my other vehicles back in the near future to have them undercoated to resist the rust that comes with living in a Coastal Area. I highly recommend these guys.

Cape Fear Customs did an excellent job installing my 4" lift and 37" tires. The sales, parts, and service teams are very professional and knowledgeable and assist you through the entire process start to finish. The storefront is clean and organized and even has a very extensive selection of offroad accessories for your off-roading needs. If you're thinking about about getting some work done to your rig, Cape Fear Customs in Wilmington, NC is the place to get it done!

I had a rather large fix on my jeep I was told about cape fear customs being a great shop to bring your jeep. The guys at cape fear took great care of me and my jeep and got her back on the road asap. Thank you Matt for all your help and going the extra mile for me!
