Loads of experience. Very reasonable rates. They are booked 2 months out but when we arrived on our appointment date they started right away. Talk to the owner (Dennis) or Ms. Priscilla for just a minute and you feel like family. Sal, the tech that worked on our motorhome, was knowledgeable and efficient.They rebuilt our Schwintec slide system and replaced both slide toppers in just two days. We will be using them for any needed repairs in the future.

Lifesavers! I wish every business could be as welcoming, kind and efficient as Cape Fear RV. We were passing through out of the state on a holiday weekend and were in desperate need of generator diagnostics & repair. We were not able to use our generator at all and it was terribly hot. Even though they were very busy, they took the time to not only troubleshoot, but fix our problem in a matter of an hour. Special thanks to Sal, Dennis & the sweet lovely lady managing the office (I wish I got her name, but she knows who she is )We really need a roof coating and wish we could stay longer to have them do it. Definitely recommend!Services: Air conditioning, Oil change

Excellent service and RV knowledge..Dennis (the owner) assisted me with a medical issue ( he's a paramedic) stayed with me and my wife till I became stable...several hours at my side in my RV.I'm a 20 year customer...You can't go wrong with this business.Thanks DennisYou may have just saved my life with my heart condition.

I could not ask for a better place than Cape Fear Custom RV or a more experienced person than Dennis when it comes to having a person work on your RV the knowledge that he has acquired over the many years of working on RVs anywhere from a little tag along to a multimillion-dollar pusher. He is amazing person I would recommend him and his business above any other that I know of in our area. He has done work for me quite a few occasions and I have never regretted taking my fifth wheel to him and I have seen times that I was in a hurry and had to leave town and he would drive to my home about 60 miles away from his business just to help me with my RV to get it up and operating like it should you could not ask for a better business owner or worker!

The comment about shoddy work by the previous reviewer is BS. I take this personal and I do not even own the place.I have been using them for 3 years now consistently for issues related to my Class B and Class A RV's. They have always taken more than great care of me and got me on the road whenever I needed it. If you can even get in with them to get your work done consider yourself blessed as they are really busy there. They work on any and all makes and I can tell you that they are the best in this area and better than most other service centers I have ever had to go to nation wide. Dennis Harp the owner is a straight up and honest guy. You cannot go wrong here.

Extremely happy with their professionalism and expertise. They fixed several things that could have been very expensive, except they got to the true cause of the problem and saved me a bundle. While traveling from MD to Fl our RV lost part of the roof. There was extreme wind and we were in unfamiliar territory. We googled an RV repair shop and found Cape Fear. They dealt with our problem immediately (rain was coming) and they quickly, efficiently and professionally did a temporary repair that allowed us to continue on our way. We were very grateful. Even though we live in MD we are considering going back to Cape Fear for he permanent fix. I wish we had a comparable RV repair facility close to our home.

Being a newby to the RV scene, I was elated to find Cape Fear Custom RV. I get in and out and have been very satisfied with the service, repairs and invaluable education they have patiently offered. Its a small business with extensive knowledge. Purchased a awning for my RV and they installed it for me and I'm super excited and enjoying it. I have a few other things that needs to be addressed on my RV and they will definitely be the ones doing it. Their staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone needing good quality RV work.

We were new to RVing about two years ago. We bought our first class B van and had a few fixes/additions we needed. A friend recommended Dennis at Cape Fear Custom RV. On our first visit, he answered most all of our questions about our van and was able to add what we wanted and fix the few problems. We ve been happily RVing since and use Dennis every few months for fixes and changes. I don t know what we would do without him!! He knows the answer and fix to literally every RV question or problem we have. I only hesitate to recommend him because I don t want everyone to know how great this business is in fear he will get too busy!!

Dennis & crew outfitted our 2013 Honda C-RV with a Blue Ox towing package, plus a sundry of other issues. This included a major leak that popped up while we were there while it was raining. I was a professional mechanic for 20+ years and can t praise these folks enough.Bringing my rig by next week for additional work.

These folks are awesome! I called them after working down through the Google list of RV repair facitilies in the Wilmington, NC, area - all of whom were too busy to help me. Even though Cape Fear had several units in their shop and a line outside, they understood that I was passing through and solved my two problems within an hour for a reasonable price and had me back on my way. How cool is that?

Excellent work on my 2008 Winnebago Voyager. Went in to get work done on my basement heat pump and Dennis Harp and his technicians took care of my issue right away. Also, very reasonably priced. I will be back if I need RV repairs.

We had trouble with our furnace while visiting in Wilmington. These people got us right in and cleaned the furnace. It worked but then quit again. So we took it back and it worked in their shop. But stopped working at our campsite, at which time the owner came to where we were staying (which wasn't very far from his shop) and checked it out and got it going this was the day before Thanksgiving. We only got charged for the initial service call. Service above and beyond the call of duty.

You decide what to rate this place. We're ready to start our dream trip but need a hydra-lift installed to carry bikes. Guy says he's really busy up to 4th of July but then can take me in right after. We wait almost 3 weeks in good faith to work with these people. The Friday before we thought we'd be taking it down for the install and hitting the road on our adventure the wife calls and said no, he said it would be another month and not even start until August.They hadn't ordered the lift or in any other way honored the commitment we had made to them. We waited three weeks while someone else could have been doing the work and now another month of the summer is wasted. The flippant way they just dismissed our THREE WEEKS of waiting and paying local campground fees and everything else that happened all as we thought right after the 4th we'd get a hydra-lift. The lady on the phone just didn't get it and the husband couldn't be bothered to address the issue himself.The worst part is this is the second time i've had trouble with the hydra-lift dealer network. CampingWorld in Jax, FL is just as sorry when dealing with hydra-lift customers as Caper Fear Custom RV is. Bottom line, deal with a serious shop that's willing to give you serious work dates. These people cost us a fortune in time and money and didn't care at all.

Where do i begin. They were so nice and very helpful. They showed my dad how to put the canopy on our camper and gave us some tips. We will totally go back there again!!

Made an appointment. Went to appointment waited 45 minutes for someone to come to work. Employee that finally showed up to work, he could not help me with an estimate he said owner was out and had not heard from him in 3 days. Took all my information and never heard back from anyone in 4 weeks. Ended up taking camper to Howards RV!!

Incredible workmanship. These guys know motorhomes. Your rig doesn't leave the shop until its repaired correctly. I wont take my motorcoach to anyone else. Highly recommend.

Was traveling thru the wilmington area and my 7 pin connector stopped working. Within 10 minutes Dennis figured out the problem and an hour later fixed the issue. Great place

This is the only place for real repair. They do great work, have excellent diagnostic skills, and are reasonable in their pricing. You can't go wrong.
