We had a flat from a pot hole- stopped at Black's on Castle Hayne, had a new tire & on our way in a short time. It was a hard to find tire and they were very busy, but made time to get us on our way. Everyone kept us informed, they were polite, friendly and efficient. A great business!

Always great service at this Black s Tire location on Castle Hayne Road in Wilmington, NC. They always make you feel like family and take care of you even though they are always busy! I have been going here for years and will continue to use them for all my tire and state inspection needs. Dustin and Jimmy and the rest of the staff are great people and truly represent what it means to do good business in a world where customer service has been forgotten by so many companies. Keep up the good work guys, I ll be back!

Always love the service here! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and they went above and beyond to help me out. I had a great experience and will definitely be returning here for my future car needs within their scope of practice. Thank you all so much! Easy to schedule! Had two rear tires installed on BMW. Good price for a local shop that had the tires in stock. Not a real popular size. There was a mix up on the brand I wanted. The tech installed the lesser brand accidentally. They were very apologetic and asked what I preferred. I asked to change to what I requested. That was done. When Brian totaled the bill, he deducted for the mix up and I was fairly compensated. I left pleased and will return in a month or two for the front tires.

Danny was absolutely wonderful! From start to finish, he made the process incredibly easy for me. I was in a stressful situation: I was in Wilmington on business and got a flat tire. I had lots of important meetings to attend, and Danny got me right in and squared away. He was honest, upfront, and efficient! Besides being incredibly professional, he was friendly and warm. I would absolutely go back there again if I was in the area. I would recommend the company and him to anyone. Thank you so much, Danny!

I am SO incredibly grateful I was referred to this auto shop! Wherever you currently get your car work done, stop and go to Blacks Tire and Auto in Castle Hayne. The associates were friendly, knowledgeable and took the extra time to help me understand everything that was going on with my vehicle. They even took me in the garage for a tire rotation demonstration which my son loved! The prices were very affordable which I was NOT expecting given current inflation rates. Dustin was a joy to talk to and work with. He gave us a very fair quote and honored it to the final invoice. We will be returning for all our car servicing needs. Thank you Dustin and Blacks Tire and Auto!

Always super polite and gets you in and out as fast as they can. I had both of my front tires replaced. My only concern was that by the time I got home in Leland my tire pressure light came on. Checked all 4 tires and 3 out of 4 were at 30psi but my front drivers side tire which is one of the new ones replaced was down to 20psi. Not sure where the air leak is but I will be keeping a close eye on it.

Black's Tire Service has always kept our many company cars and buses serviced and in great condition. They are easy to work with and exceed expectations! We appreciate all of their help with our company vehicles as well as our friends' and family's vehicles!

Coming from Michigan to relax for a week in Wilmington and had some front end issues on way down. Blacks Auto was great from the time I walked in and took care of our needs within a couple hours so we could enjoy our vacation. The entire staff was very friendly!

Blacks is my absolute Go To for anything having to do with tires. I have purchased three sets of tires from them overtime. Today I noticed I had low pressure in a tire, I just drove into blacks, handed them the keys, watched a little basketball, and then I was back on the road, not the first time I ve had to do this. I love that they bring whatever it was causing the puncture and show it to you. This time it was a little more than 1 inch of roofing nail.The big thing today was that I found out that they do oil changes and other automotive maintenance as well. So I ll be taking my car back there tomorrow to get the oil changed. Family owned business. Go there once, and it will be your go to place for you as well

I m new to the area and was looking for tires for my car and made a phone call and Brian answered and was very helpful over the phone and even in person. I had two ties put on my car and an alignment and I will say this I m coming back in a couple weeks for two more tires and other maintenance done for my car and will continue to come here for future maintenance on my vehicle. So I highly recommend this place.

I have used Black s Tire for many, many years.Most recently, there was a miscommunication concern but it was very quickly resolved.I would have a hard time going to any other tire service business. The Castle Hayne staff is amazing!

Recommend the staff at Black's Tire, Castle Hayne location are familiar with the process that their Company has that allows customers to book appointments on line. I booked my appointment on line and provided my Vehicle Information along with Credit Card info that would allow me to drop my vehicle off and have four new tires and alignment completed. I received a call while at work that I had no appointment because this location dues not honor or even have online appointments? Really, why is is listed on your website; after being disturbed at work and I explained to the front desk Clerk the process I completed online, she still claimed that I must be mistaken, after 15 minutes someone finally took charge of the situation and apologized, because I had indeed booked online. Please train your employees, on the process that your Company has in place for Customers to drop off vehicles. Thanks.

Ive been a Blacks customer for many years. I have used several locations and gotten identical service. Recently, Ive used the diesel shop for my personal truck. This is not the first one I have taken there. The lack of communication is ridiculous. 5 trips and zero phone calls for an O2 sensor and crank case sensor. I had already pulled the codes. I kept having to check because I wasn t informed of anything. Most recently, my truck goes in a rollback with the serpentine belt off. It was there around 2pm. As of 5:00 Friday, I had to go by and see what the status was. I was told it was a water pump issue. Ok. Also had a crank case service due. I asked if the quote was ready. The response was he just brought it to me . However, he had to dig through the work orders to find it. So it wasn t just brought over . I was told a quote would be ready on Saturday. Saturday comes and goes. No call with a quote. Monday comes. Nothing. Tuesday comes. I had to go ask for an update. I let the staff know I was not happy with the lack of communication. I explained that was not the service I expected from Blacks. The response was compelling unprofessional. I was asked which stores I had dealt with. Oleander, Castle Hayne, Market, Carolina Beach as well Whiteville, NC. He said commercial was different and no one is going to call me and tell me they didn t get to my truck. I told him I didnt need that but tell me whats wrong with my truck and give me the quote upfront. Dont make me chase you. So when I asked for the quote, that was supposed to be done Saturday, he immediately started putting it together. Now, what did he do all day Monday? So I get a quote of $500 and some change. So my truck gets completed Tuesday afternoon. I went by Wednesday morning to pay. My bill is now over $700. I asked for an explanation. There was none. I am completely disgusted with how this shop is now being handled. I stopped using the dealer at all and took everything to Blacks. Based on my most recent experiences, I am tempted to go back to the dealer. This is not normal for blacks and is not a great representation of the other stores or even the non commercial side of this store. However, the repairs were done correctly so the mechanic obviously knows his part. This is the first negative experience with Blacks.

I recently needed 4 tires replaced on short notice. I visited the Castle Hayne location to replace tires. Even though there were only 2 in stock, Dustin was able to reach out and secure 2 more tires that were needed from another location so that I would not need to come back the following day to have them replaced. Dustin went the extra mile to make this experience a pleasant and professional experience. I will be returning for future needs.

My experience with Brian at Black s Tire was amazing. We went back and forth on a couple of rim styles, but he held right in there with me until I was completely satisfied. He listened to exactly what I wanted and he delivered. Brian was really awesome to work with.
