I recently had my state vehicle inspection completed by Jason Hill(Facility Manager)and Lincoln Williams(Mechanic), and I wanted to express my extreme satisfaction with their customer service. Both Jason and Lincoln were professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Jason explained the inspection process thoroughly and answered all my questions patiently. Their positive attitude made the entire experience enjoyable. Thanks to Jason and Lincoln, I will definitely be returning to AAA for future inspections and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Complete garbage dump. Avoid them my friends.Picture- Insisted they test drive my vehicle to check if my transmission was slipping. They said I needed a new camshaft. 2 days later, I took the warranty they would not honor to Bob King GMC, and they promptly diagnosed a torque converter failure. They repair was done quickly with no surprises.

Went there occasionally for oil change & tire rotation using promotional mailers. Somehow with taxes & fees , the promotional price ends up being the same as the regular price. Funny how that works. And they always seem to forget to do the free tire rotation. I can t imagine trusting them with serious car repairs. I won t be going back.

If I could give a zero stars I would. I felt taken advantage of and totally scammed. Made an appt with them at 9:45 am to have the brake lights serviced and a new relay switch on the blinkers. There was a problem with the taillight which they said would probably have to be replaced but then they told me they couldn't even run a diagnostic on the vehicle until after 1:30 because they were backed up (when I arrived all the techs, managers and counter people were in the lobby, no cars in the garage). They then told me I would need to bring back to have the work done the next day if I couldn't wait on it. I told them I needed the car to be done by COB the following day as I was leaving town they said "no problem". I arrived at 7:45am (they had to unlock the doors as I was the first customer of the day), they brought me home (the guy who brought me home was awesome, he drives the vintage Cadillac and when I told him what the car needed, he thought it would would be a quick fix) and I waited for a phone call to hear what was needed on the car. When they hadn't called, I called them at noon and they said they were "still diagnosing the problem". They tried to tell us they worked for over 3 hours to diagnose the issue and didn't charge us for those hours. Miraculously at 1pm, they had found the issue and it needed a flasher relay switch which they replaced and for which they charged me $161 for a $50 part, but taillight could not be replaced because they would have to order the part and couldn't get today, we checked, there was the correct part at 4 auto parts places in Wilmington. The working taillight needed bulbs but they did not have those, what auto repair place does not have replacement bulbs for taillights, so they would replace when we did the taillight replacement. With all the run around, we called them later when I returned home and said we would not be bringing the car back due to the poor service and communication.WILL NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!Service: Electrical repair

A BIG "THANK YOU" to Crystal and the technician (I don't know his name) who serviced my car after a flat tire at Whole Foods in Wilmington, NC!!!I was in town for my sister's doctor appointment and they made an unexpected stressful situation so easy and communicated every step of the way. I had a billing problem I couldn't resolve online, so I went to a local Wilmington, NC AAA location on Oleander Drive, and the insurance sales guy went to his computer and solved the problem without hesitation! Im loving AAA!

Efficient, thorough, friendly service. Fees on par with others, but you get a discount as a AAA member which helps.

Very simple review.I broke down, was towed in and had the repirs completed in a day. Oh yes, I need to add to that I also met some awesome people that work at this car care center. Jason Hill, who is the facility manager, and answered all my questions and kept informed while the repair was underway. His customer service skills are excellant, not only with me but I watched and listened as he worked with other members. He is truly an asset to AAA. I'd like to also give kudus Mechanic David Hyde. He was very thorough in his explaintion of my trucks problem and how it was going to be repaired. Both men treated me with a respect and friendliness that is hard to find lately. Both men should be commended for this. All the other empolyees seem to be just as friendly and it's a nice clean place if you need to wait to have work done on your car.

I had to get my front brake pads, rotors, and calipers replaced and since I'm a young female college student who knows minimal about cars, I thought AAA would be my best bet to not get taken advantage of. Not only did I experience poor customer service at this location but I was also overcharged by $450. I was shocked to say the least. Do your research on prices before getting any work done because I've found that other shops have better prices.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Imagine your car has a blow out at 4am in the morning on your way to work and you find out that your very new car that you paid lots of money for has a air compressor but didn't come with a spare. No joke many new cars don't have a spare. AAA to the rescue. I was quickly towed by a AAA tower and shout out to Victoria Satterwhite the service writer who explained everything and kept me well informed all day long concerning my car. Very professional, pictures, texts and lots of communications about the status of your car. I can't say enough how Victoria put me at ease during a horrible day.

I had my Jeep towed here overnight by Wayne's Towing through AAA, and they were quick to call me in the morning, which I really appreciated. They fixed her up right and a few hours later I had my life back in order. Thank you!

Terrible service by swindlers. They charged $295 for a single tumors with no warranty. $300 practically for a tire for small regular Honda sedan. Then the my wanted to replace the radiator which is working perfectly fine. They also changed the oil despite the fact it was changed just a few weeks before. Outrageous liars. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE THEY ARE TRADING ON AAA TRUSTED NANE TO SWINDLE AND LIE TO TRUSTING CUSTOMERS

Jason was extremely helpful. The splash guard under my car came loose and lost a couple screws. He fixed it for me before work when I came by without an appointment.

Can I just say that Jay and Jason are so amazing and got my car taken care of same-day service! Jay is very professional and advised me on upcoming maintenance I should do. Jason worked a long time to test the diagnostics and to try to find the problem I was having getting the Jeep to start. I just inherited this car and want to make sure it is safe and sound to take on short trips. Thanks so much for all your help. I will be a loyal customer from here on out!!Kristin Martin

I needed a new battery. Rather than wait for it to let me down again and have to call roadside assistance again, I decided to take it to my local AAA repair center. I found them to be not very communicative. I was told to wait in the waiting room. there was no indication how my battery tested or what they were going to do about it or how long it would take ! I had to go and find these things out myself by asking questions. It ended on a positive note with a new battery being installed, but it could have been a much better experience.Service: Auto battery maintenance

After having tires put on my 15 passenger van at another place and having the inertia button needing reset. Wayne s towing took to 2 mechanics here and they jumped right on it and got me running again. Definitely recommend them.

I went in for a $30 state inspection and asked for my tires to be rotated which would cost $20. Instead they charged me to rebalance my tires which were already balanced fine. So they ended up charging me $90 instead of 50.I still have to have my tires rotated and I ll go just about anywhere else but not AAA anymore. This isn t the first bad experience I ve had with them but I didn t think they could actually screw up the state inspection and tire rotation but they managed to. And they lost two of my valve stem covers.

Daughters car was towed here after check engine light came on and was running bad. I received a call telling me that the car needs a engine replacement $7900 good deal they said lol. Ok I asked what happened, did it jump timing ? We don t know we would have to tear the engine apart to see. So how do you know it needs a motor. Had AAA Premium 200 miles towing. Only towed from the University Mabe 2 miles total. AAA would not honor any more towing since the car was towed to a service mechanic. That could work on the car. So be aware read fine print in your policy Had the car towed back to Winston Had a Toyota mechanic look at the car, broke valve spring. Ended up only costing $1900 for parts and labor didn t need engine. Thanks for trying to take advantage of the situation. But not here. I recommend having someone you can trust look at your car before letting these guys rip you off. Would give zero stars But you can t.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Pretty terrible experience that is costing me more money in the long run. Went to AAA to try and get a simple state inspection. They removed my skid plate and only replaced it using 2 screws. I discovered this when it dropped and was dragging on the road on my way home from their shop. Called and asked about why they removed the skid plate for a simple inspection and was told "thats part of their routine". Brought the skid plate back for them to re-install, but they seemed to lose the screws entirely, so "best they could do" was zip-tie it in place. I would NOT recommend them to anyone for any service. No reason to undo a skid plate for a state inspection, and they made no effort to replace the skid plate or fix it.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Went for oil change and tire rotation, 2 hrs later was told the car was almost ready. They were resetting the oil light that my car doesn't have, when I got home I looked at the tires, they had not been rotated. Too many lies for me to go back there. This place used to be good, not so much any more.

I made an appointment for a car inspection and oil change for my Subaru Forester that had 49,000 miles. Five hours and $1,000 later, I learned I needed new brake pads, rotors, coolant, and Freon in my AC system. I was grateful for the rides provided to and from my home, however, the cost for the services completed was much more that I expected, even with my AAA discount.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

They were short handed and took all day to get service performed that would have usually been a few hours. They didn t inform me until I called after three hours that they couldn t even start on my service for at least another hour. Customer promise of estimate was not honored on cabin filter because they said it was more complicated to instal than the thought.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

First day open after Hurricane Florence. I made a 0730 appointment, and was informed that many staff members were unable to report to work by opening time. Still after disclosing I made the appointment early to be to work on time at 9, the staff did their best to install tires and perform a 4-wheel alignment. I clocked in at 9 am. Mike and George were professional in their demeanor and provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend this location.

Absolutely awful experience. Put my life in danger and cost me extra money down the road due to shotty work. Incredibly poor work, by far the worst experience ive ever had taking my car anywhere.

Thoroughly looked over my vehicle and took the time to explain the repairs to me. They provided me with options in regards to repairs and also got me into the AAA warranty program so now my vehicle has awesome coverage in the event that something happens to it. Definitely going back! Make sure you ask them about their AAA Warranty Program when you go in.

I took my car in for several reasons: oil change, inspection, rotors, and AC stopped working. They were very helpful and very friendly. I was able to get my car in right away. I took it later afternoon hours and it was ready the next morning. They worked out an estimate that I agreed to and were actually able to save a few hundred once they started working. We discussed changing all brakes and rotors, which I agreed to, and once they cleaned off my back brakes they saw replacing them was unnecessary, so they did not. I felt they had my best interest at heart and were not just trying to make money. I will definitely continue to take my car here for all work needed.

World class AAA car car service by Michael Dyson and the wonderful staff who do a super job of maintaining our older car - a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser. They do a comprehensive check of the vehicle every time we take it in and give an honest assessment of what is needed and when and look for the most cost effective alternatives in fixing any problems they identify. They stand behind their work and ensure we get the 10% AAA member discount in all work they do. Because of their dedicated work our older car runs like a charm and has no problem passing the NC vehicle inspection. Michael and the staff at Oleander are total professionals and give you consistent service "with a smile" each and every time. Highly recommend AAA Oleander for anyone's car care needs. They always go the extra mile for you.
