I can NOT even begin to tell you in words what the mechanic Mark did to repair my Infinity. There are no more honest and skilled mechanics left, the last two mechanics left my car with brake line hanging, one bolt missing from tire assembly, one stripped and left sideways, only on holding it together. My car was dangerous!!!!! Thank you SO SO MUCH. Mark!!!!Stay away from these two So Called MECHANICS ...Glenn Haynes & Ebert Dean Robbins.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Never tried this place but they were close by and I wanted to avoid a tow if possible. After calling to see if they could help, I drove to their location. The guy I spoke with in the office was rude, condescending and quoted me a ridiculous price, so I left. My mechanic fixed my car for $200 less than what they offered.

Unfortunately, Mark tried to tell me my motor was gone and I needed to bring him 8K to fix it then he practically slammed the door in my face! That was 2 years ago and my motor still going!! He s a scammer. Too bad for Bill.

We had my car towed to 2 Techs because it was bogging down when I stepped on the gas. I am new to the area and saw they had excellent reviews on Yelp, so that's why I chose them. After 2+ days I still had not heard from them and they said it was because their techs hadn't seen this issue before. Seemed reasonable, so I waited. They called and told us it was a sensor, they could get the part in a couple of days and it would be $250 installed. They also said they noticed a couple of other things that needed fixed, my AC blew on high all the time, (which I knew about) and there was something wrong with my muffler. My muffler sounded fine, but they said they would get pricing for us and call us back. Two days later we hadn't heard from them, so we called again and they told us it wasn't a sensor after all, that I needed a new axle and they already fixed it and it was around $400. They also fixed the AC blower and that was $250. We told them we didn't authorize any expense above the $250 they quoted us and they were supposed to call us back with a price on the AC. They said they "assumed" we would want it fixed. We told them they were wrong and we don't want to pay $250 for something we didn't agree to and they should go take out the $20 part we knew it would take to fix it. They said they would but they were going to charge us a $150 fee for assessing the problem. We told them that wasn't the deal and they knew it. They talked in circles and tried to justify it but we told them we weren't paying for it.They said they would have to call us back, but also told us the muffler was broken in half and it would cost around $400 to repair. We told them we didn't want that done and we would come get the car, they said "but we already sent it out". We told them again, we only said OK to $250 of repairs and now you are trying to charge us well over $1,000 for repairs on a car with 140k+ miles on it and is probably only worth $4k. They again said they "assumed" we would want it done. After arguing with them for a day, they finally agreed not to charge us for the AC but there was nothing they could do about the muffler charges since those were a 3rd party. (That they sent it to without my permission). We had no choice but to pay the $767 they railroaded us into so we could get our car back. The kicker here is, we got it home and crawled under the car to see what we assumed would be a new muffler and it was the old muffler that had absolutely no work done to it.My advice is beware of these people. I was tricked into using them by the reviews on Yelp, but after doing more digging, I have found LOTS of reviews like mine on other sites. I am filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau and also filing a claim in small claims court. Think twice before using these people - you may get lucky and get good service, or you may end up like me and get cheated.

This garage does good work and the folks are friendly. However, their communication is incredibly poor. They do not answer their phone nor do they return phone calls. You are basically at their mercy when trying to inquire about the status of your vehicle, which can be rather annoying if it's your only mode of transportation. How does one plan? I took my car in on Tuesday to have my turn signals fixed, tried to find out the status (of course by leaving a message) and my call was only returned towards the end of the NEXT day allowing as to how it was 'fixed'. I hitched a ride to get it and more fool me, I failed to make sure the blinkers worked while in their parking lot. Found out the next morning they did not, so not sure what I paid for. Repeated calls that same day were not returned, nor were they returned the following day. (I obviously will have to make an in-person call, but hate to have to leave my car AGAIN for an unknown period of time). This experience has somewhat soured me on them because we have used this garage repeatedly with various vehicles, and each time the communication has been lacking. They are just simply bad at letting one know the status ... and/or calling to advise what the problem is before they fix it.These folks were recommended to us and we've since recommended them to others. However, their inept responsiveness equates to poor customer service. Until this is fixed, if it ever is, we'll be looking for someone new.

Excellent service.... Great prices... Honest and reliable mechanics that won't give you the run around or overcharge you!! You know exactly what they do to your vehicle without any hidden surprises... They will actually discuss any issues/problems they may come across with no pressure or alterior motives..... This also means... Ladies you won't get screwed over by these guys!! They are here to help you, not to take advantage of the fact of being a woman and not knowing the mechanics of your vehicle!Thank you 2 Techs Garage!!! My car and I are thankful to have such outstanding & honest mechanics in our life!!!

Awesome Job & awesome place. These guys are grade A. Bill and his mechanic went above and beyond to fix my Chevy Silverado. Very easy to work with, very friendly and knowledgeable and always working to get the job done correctly as good shops do. I have brought cars I've owned in the past to these guys and would in the future again as well. I would recommend them to anyone needing great and honest work done at fair pricing.

A friend recommended Two Techs to me as I was new to the area and had already had a bad experience with another automotive repair business in town. I have several vehicles all which have way too many miles on them :-) however the guys at Two Techs always keep them running like new. They are extremely knowledgeable and courteous. They have always most definitely been fair on their prices and I have never not even one time been charged more than what was quoted. I would highly recommend them to anyone with any type of vehicle needing minor to major repairs.

I wish there was an option for NO STARS. I found this place by reading the reviews, what a mistake!! I brought my car in with what I thought was a transmission issue. I dropped my car off and later that day I got a call saying that there was nothing wrong with my transmission but there have been issues with the type of transmission that I had in my car so they recommended a transmission flush to see if that took care of any issues. I thought these guys knew transmissions, so I took their advice and paid $235 for a flush. After getting my car back it got a lot worse so within a week I brought it back and they said it feels like its misfiring and said they could replace my spark plugs for a couple of hundred, I chose to pass on that for now. Later that week I got them changed for about $90, the guys that changed my plugs said they still looked good. A few days later my car was barley derivable but I was able to get it to the Nissan Dealership. The dealership called me the next day saying that my transmission was shot. They said the plug was also leaking on the transmission and asked if I had work done on it. The transmission was almost $4000. So I called 2 Techs and told them what was going on. I felt that I was duped into paying $235 for a flush on a bad transmission after they told me the transmission was fine. They told me that they could not refund me but could possibly credit my account for any future occurrences. They said they would call me back after lunch, but no returned call.So quick overview, took my car with a bad transmission to a 2 Techs, a transmission shop, where they told me my transmission was fine but duped me into paying $235 for a flush, a week later after my transmission died I asked for a refund..nope. I would never recommend this place and I will continue to tell my story to as many people as possible. STAY AWAY

These guys have really helped me out! Reasonable prices and helpful. They're always willing to give me a ride to work or even loan me a car while mine is in the shop. Will explain the specific problem and why something needs fixing. When I've picked my car up and it wasn't quite right, they took it right back and re-worked on it at no charge. Great warranty policy.

We have been using 2 Techs Garage for years to take care of our fleet of commercial vehicles. They are super friendly! Always get us in and out quickly and very honest about what does and doesn't need to be done on the cars. We love them and will keep going as long as they are around!

Mark and Bill are the essence of professional, kind, honest, and simply the best. I really cannot recommend them enough. You will not regret taking your vehicle to them. My father a cynical but faithful man ONLY used them until he passed away in 2013. Thanks so much for peace of mind.

A total waste of time and money. I took my car to them because the AC stopped working. They had the car for about 7 hours. I called them about an hour before they closed and was told they were just finishing up with the problem. The claimed they identified that my thermostat was the problem and they replaced it for a total of $171. They also gave my car a good once over and told me of other problems I have. I drove away about 4:45 in the afternoon (they close at 5). My AC never got cold on the way home. Being as it was Friday afternoon and they weren't opened on the weekend, I called and left a message for them. I never got a call back on Monday. I called them Monday afternoon and got no answer. I called them on Tuesday and got no answer. Basically, they threw a part at my car, never tested to see if it actually fixed the problem, told me it was fixed, took my money, and blew me off. Do yourself a favor and avoid these guys.(UPDATE): I took my car to a real mechanic. He found my A.C. compressor had blown a seal. The fact that 2 Techs couldn't identify a major failure and instead replaced a part that in all probability was fine speaks to their technical ability and/or ethics. Or both.

I had used Two Techs faithfully for 4 years without any issue. I went here for everything and I even referred several people from my circle here. Despite the fact that none of the people I referred were happy, I stood by this shop.Until they charged me $1000 to replace the a/c on one car that failed afterwards because the actual problem was just a clogged up hose. But before I found this out, they charged me to replace rotars on a second car when the actual problem was stripped lug nuts. They sent myself and my child out onto the road with a tire that was ready to fall off of the car. Bill the owners answer? A well...ohhhh...I hate to hear that...It would have cost nothing to pretend to be sorry but they couldn t be decent enough to even do that.We haven't been back since. I do not recommend.

I am a retired engineer, and was referred to 2 Techs by my next door neighbor, who is also a retired engineer (always a good thing). Over the years I have used many mechanics in a variety of places.I have to rate 2 Techs at the head of the list. In the two years that I have been using them, I have always gotten good advice and service at a reasonable price. I have three cars each over a decade old and things tend to wear out. They have always been able to diagnose my problems and fix them for the estimated cost. They are very easy to deal with; recently I have successfully used their new computer software to schedule the annual inspection for one of my cars. They get my highest rating!

I started taking my vehicles to 2 Techs in 2008. They have serviced a Toyota, Volkswagen,Nissan, and Subaru and all have been done so in a way that a customer should expect -- prompt, courteous, professional, and at a fair and reasonable price. When any repairs are needed a thorough and understandable explanation of the work is provided before any work is performed -- my girlfriend always appreciates that and has also recommended 2 Techs to her friends. When I briefly left Wilmington I wished I could have taken 2 Techs with me! When I returned to Wilmington one of the first things I did was visit 2 Techs to set up a appointment for my Suby and Nissan. Bill and Marc, besides being super nice, have years of experience with all makes of vehicles and their techs have always done a thorough job. I recommend 2 Techs very, very, highly.

Took my Jeep here a few weeks ago and told them what the problem was after diagnosing by internet search. They fixed my vehicle by replacing the radiator cap. The next time I drove on the beach it again overheated to the point that the radiator top blew completely off. After having it fixed correctly at one of the large chain garages I was told that it was exactly what I thought it was when I took it to 2 techs - the fan clutch. Still have them 2 stars based on customer service being above average. I will not use this garage again and would definitely advise others to steer clear.

Not a happy customer. 2000 S10 was driving just fine but Check Engine light was on and needed to pass inspection. Took the vehicle here, they told my wife it needed work which came to over $500 and we had it done. Truck runs the same and after less tha 2 weeks the Check Engine light is on again. I feel ripped off at present. We plan on bringing the vehicle back and then let's see how many "stars" this place will receive. The AC had a leak and we needed to periodically refill Freon. Now, it does not work at all. Truck has about 100,000 on it and it has not been abused. Will be updating if situation improves.

My Son goes to UNCW and we had to find a reputable mechanic in Wilmington. He took his car to these guys and they were able to get his car straightened out at a very reasonable price. They have great customer service and are very knowledgeable.

I went in to get a car inspection done, and I had a difficult time. The inspection just would not send to the DMV and because of this I incurred a late fee. Apparently my door was replaced on my vehicle so I had 2 different VIN numbers which caused a bunch of confusion. After we finally figured it out, Mark was so helpful at getting it fixed and even gave me the money back for the late fee. It was really an honest mistake but, to me, that shows that customer service is a priority here. I'd recommend this place to everyone.

Took my vehicle to Two Tech on a Thursday for making engine noise. They started engine and said that they thought it was cracked flywheel. I asked what it would take to diagnose and they said around $120.00 - seemed fair. They also said they were backed up and that they might be able to tell me something the next day, Friday. So, fast forward to Wednesday of the following week. Haven't heard anything so I called. They hadn't even looked at it and this was my only mode of transportation. On Thursday they called me and said that they would have to remove transmission to determine if flywheel was the issue. They mentioned that it would be $300.00 or more to determine issue. I brought to their attention that they had told me that diagnosis was $120.00, which they talked in circles about. So I told them I had no choice, I had to determine cost of fixing and that if repairs were over a certain amount then I would not fix since the vehicle was approaching 20 years old. They called back and said that it wasn't the transmission it was the engine and that a used one would be 3 to 4 grand. I opted to not spend that kind of money and would look info purchasing another vehicle. They informed me that they could sell vehicle for scrap and usually that would cover the bill for diagnosis. With that said I went there on Friday to remove all my personal stuff. Although they said they didn't need the title I gave it to them anyway. Later on I found out I needed the title to remove it from my record with DMV, so on the following Monday I went by the garage to see if they still had the title; which they did. Also, they said that I probably wouldn't be happy I came by. Reason was, I owed money for the work they had done so far. They showed me a check, I believe was from Pic & Pull for $170.00, they charged me a total of $344.79 less the $170.00 leaving a balance of $174.79. I can't believe that my vehicle is the only one that they have sold for salvage and I would have expected that they would have called the salvage yard before hand to give me a fair estimate. And, I brought up what they said about the $120.00 for diagnosis and selling the vehicle for salvage. And the reply was I agreed to this which legally I suppose I did. So , I guess I can't really argue this point but it still didn't set well with me. Anyway, I probably shouldn't have said "that they wouldn't have to worry about me bringing anything else to them" and then they said "they didn't want my business anyway", "they were doing just fine." I will add that this entire conversation was cordial and there was no shouting, so they get points for that. I paid the balance and left. Upon arriving home I discovered the invoice was for "removing and replace" the transmission - the transmission was never re-installed. So, assuming that they would or could reduce the total amount I called back several times over the next 30 minutes or so - no answer. I can only assume that my name showed up and they chose not to answer but this is only an assumption. I left a message which was on 04/22/19. Here it is the 26th and they have not returned my call. In closing, they came across as arrogant and unwilling to discuss a compromise, etc. Being a new customer, I would think they would have been more accommodating. There are a few reviews that are negative but most are positive. I'm would believe all-in-all they do good work most of the time and assume that most customers are happy with their work; however I only give shops one chance and if the experience is less than stellar, I will not go back and certainly won't recommend to anyone else. Remember, although the customer is not always right, the customer is always right and good customer relations should be at the forefront.

Recently had a CV joint boot start leaking. 2 Techs was able to get me in the very next day and the car was ready by noon. That's the sort of service I really appreciate. When I brought the car in they were very friendly too.

Had one or their techs diagnose my car and during the time my vehicle was being stored in the shop one of the mechanics stole the subwoofer from my trunk.**UPDATE**Upon notifying my "recommended" mechanic of the issue with his shop he continued to try to tell me that my vehicle in fact never had a subwoofer.. pretty funny when his lifelong friend whom sold me the car was immediately able to provide me with all info regarding the speaker in the trunk. I highly suggest staying away from this business.
