Avoid this place! When i walked in it was like i was bothering them. Very rude and would not even answer a question. Never again!

Been here twice and both times were a joke. First i brought my backpack blower to be serviced. 2 mos later i stop back in to check on it and the guy tells me they dont make a certain part any longer and theres nothing they can do. Well thanks for the phone call pal. Get it home and was able to find the part online and fixed it myself. The second time i walk in and they same guy looks at me and literally say "what?" I contain my rage and tell him the part i need. He orders it and says hell let me know when it arrives. That was 2 mos ago. Trust me avoid this place at all costs

Very knowledgeable staff. I walked in with a motor with a simple issue. They stopped and fixed it immediately while I waited. I left a second motor there. They replaced bearings and a capacitor in less than 2 hours. Outstanding service at a very fair price.

Took in a compressor that would run but wouldn t shut off. He called said it runs and shuts off good so I drove the the 30 minute drive to pick it up only to stand there for 20 minutes and it never shut off. Two hours of driving and $15 wasted!!! Hauled it home, guess I ll have to replace the switch myself.

I took a portable generator to Wilkes Electric, as I asked the one at the desk about looking for someone to take a look and see if they could repair it, he turned and asked someone in the back if he could look at a portable generator, and the man in the back said no with a laught. I didn't think much of it at the time, but things got worse. The man followed me outside, and took a smarty mouth approach. How long has it been since it was cranked, look at that gas tank, got to have a new one of them, then he said if I could back across the road there was a big hole I could throw it in. I didn't need his poor attitude, all I needed to know was there a professional in the store that could work on the product, and what kind of cost would there be. There are professional people and there are those at Wilkes Electric. I will not stop in that store ever again and I will tell everyone I know how I was treated. Rev. Billy Felts
