Stayed a few nights in Holly Cove with friends that live there, and really enjoyed the visit. Holly Cove is super quiet and quaint, not a lot of noise or people being overly loud. I went for a run/walk both mornings I was there and the community in general is very well laid out and well kept. Even if I didn t have friends there I would recommend it as a place to stay.

Campground its self is nice lived here a few months. But on the Bad side All the staff and workers tend to gossip and are rude to guests. They think they know it all and they do not. They tend to act like they are bigger and better than you and everyone else and try and bully you into doing things that are not needed or even make since. But great tv spots and views just if you stay here be mindful you might come into hatful and ride remarks and definitely looks from everyone that think they are better than you including coming from the manager her self. Should be fine for seasonal stay but would not recommend coming here year round.

A must place to live when you are doing the RV life! We loved every minute of our one year of living there! It is so beautiful and peaceful. Marie and everyone that works there have been nothing but nice and helpful. We just bought a house so that is the only reason we have left. I will always remember our time there with great fondness. I would recommend Holly Cove to anyone looking for extended stay up here in beautiful Whittier NC!

We just moved in and it is a great family friendly park to stay at. People are friendly and they have dog park for our big lab. I ve lived down here in the mountains my whole life and I really have enjoyed Holly cove looking for a much longer stay. The staff and workers are friendly and we haven t had any problems at all so far they helped us level our camper and all kinds of stuff highly recommend staying here

We stayed at Holly cove for 3 and a half months while home searching. By far the cleanest campground in the area and most reasonable. The Property manager Marie was awesome and was always on top of any issues that came up! Highly recommend this RV resort!!Dog-friendliness: Super dog friendly!!

I had the pleasure of staying in this remote RV park for three months during the first part of my husband's deployment. Boasting a dog park, a pool, and public restrooms the amenities themselves outshine all of the surrounding parks. The RV lots are spacious and terraced up the mountain, leading to walking trails that wind to the very top. If you live an active lifestyle this is the park for you! The selfless staff work tirelessly to maintain the cleanliness of the park and meet the never ending needs of their tenants. This charming, long term stay RV park is often silent due to the courteous neighbors and the surrounding moss and trees that absorb most sounds. Coexisting with wildlife in their natural habitat, it is important to keep in mind that there are curious black bears in the area and conduct yourself accordingly. Situated approximately 20 mins near historic, Portlandian-esque Sylva you will have access to a Walmart, Dollar Tree, Lowe's, several fast food options, sushi, pho, and a Mexican mercadito with phenomenal street tacos. With only ten minutes between you and Dillsboro there are plenty of opportunities to raft or fish on the gorgeous Tuckaseegee river, in addition to two enormous and quirky flea markets. That being said, summer and fall are the best times of year to enjoy everything this area has to offer and truly experience the breathtaking views. I feel incredibly blessed to have had such a once in a lifetime experience in the hidden gem that is Holly Cove RV resort. :)

Peaceful, clean and quiet. My boyfriend and I lived here for almost 2 years and we loved every moment. Close enough to Sylva and Cherokee for convenience but off the beaten path enough that there isn't road traffic or other city noise. Marie, the campground manager, is helpful, and friendly while also giving you space. As long as you keep your site clean, and aren't making a ton of noise disturbing the peace of your neighbors you're left alone. This isn't a casual nightly place, it is a longterm monthly stay, so load up your RV or tiny home and go stay in the mountains for your favorite season.

Holly Cove has been my home for over a year and I have nothing but good things to say. The owners and managers of the park are very nice and there to help with any problems you may have. Every one that lives here is very nice and friendly. In the summer when everyone is here there is lots of gatherings and events and there is a great sense of community. This park is all monthly rentals so there s no coming and going every night and you get to know everyone. Everyone has a good amount of space in their lots, it s very wooded throughout, and you don t feel like you re on top of each other like most RV parks. Best RV park in western North Carolina no doubt about it

Holly Cove is an awesome RV park located in beautiful Western North Carolina just minutes from Sylva and Cherokee. We were able to spend 5 months here and it was great. The park is beautiful, the spots are well kept and management is excellent! We definitely recommend this park!

We had a wonderful fall experience here for 2 months, tucked up in the mountains. It was always quiet and peaceful among friendly neighborhood rv-ers. If we needed any assistance, Marie was readily available. The campground is very clean and orderly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a long term place to stay. We will possibly be returning. The location can t be beat!

My wife and I have stayed at Holly Cove for several years during the Summer Months. The campground is in a beautiful area, is quiet, and the sites are in a mountain setting. Most importantly the sites are not jammed up. The owners are always helpful and work hard to keep the grounds well maintained. The other residents are proud of their sites and most everyone plants flowers and keep their sites looking very attractive. I have read a negative review for Holly Cove and find it to be far from my experiences here. Come see the campground and you will immediately be impressed and will probably be asking about reserving a site.

We stayed here for several months, on a work assignment. The owners are two of the most helpful and hardest working, hands on people we have worked with... Cliff is a licensed RV repair technician and Renie and he have given an older campground a newer look and updated the whole park. A lot of the residents are long term seasonal and have regular activities planned and they have all been so friendly and made sure we felt included. This park is great if you are looking for a place to park and stay for long term.

Monthly or seasonal only. Very peaceful, basic campground with plenty of trees that is convenient to Cherokee, Sylva, Dillsboro etc. Wonderful owners who were nice enough to help fix our hot water tank. Pet friendly with sites staggered on a hill so they feel spacious. Exactly what we wanted while spending the month exploring the area. Can't wait to return!

my family and friends (same group of people) and I used to camp there every year. The one owners that ran it Clay and Esther Barker they both passed away. It's a great place to go. I went up there in 2011 as I was coming home from Florida to visit. It brought tears to my eyes

I just signed a lease in April and didn't get my trailer out here until June. My wife and I have taken the RV/camper route into tiny houses. Holly Cove is close to WCU, where she is going to school. It also offers a swimming pool and community center with monthly events. Since I work online, it's nice to have internet access available at the lot in addition to the community WiFi setup for the park.We have been here for a couple weeks now and are still getting moved into our tiny house (renovated camper). Everyone has been very nice and one person even gave us an extra set of steps for the front entry. Our neighbors are friendly and the community is very welcoming. Due to our schedules, my wife and I have not had an opportunity to attend the Friday night bonfires, Memorial Day cookout, Forth of July picnic, or golf cart parade. However, we are looking forward to spending more time here in the weeks and months ahead.

Not so nice a place, owner thinks he knows everything, bad help getting set up. Wifi intermittent, can't make calls with phone. Cannot get good help setting up. Every time it rains the camper sinks an 1". Can't get help to level. Does not matter cause every time it rains it sinks some more. Going to start looking for a place in GA. I'm sure when it comes time to pull out there won't be any help. Just want to get my money back and get out of here!!!!!!!!!!.

Only a mountain goat should be there. Too narrow roads, too steep and not a place I would ever camp at. They misled me about campground. Will never try to go there again.
