A few weeks ago I was passing through Cherokee NC on my 1971 Electra Glide, as luck had it I broke down just around the corner from David s shop. He offered me everything short of the shirt off his back to help me get back on the road. Top notch group of guys for all mechanical needs, I ll be stopping by to say hello next time I m riding by.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was in the area camping for a few days and I wore my brakes out coming down the mountain. I called Andre on New Year s Day and he told me to bring my car in the very next morning and within a few hours my car was repaired and I was back on the road! I highly recommend calling these guys if you are in the area and need work done! Andre and his staff, including his son, are so polite, friendly and went out of their way to help me out! His son also does cultural tours of the area! If you have time, stop in and ask for a tour! Great people!

My truck decided to dump all of its coolant on top of a mountain 600 miles away from home with me, the wife, mother in law, and our dog on board. David and his entire crew at this shop helped us diagnose the issue and figure out a solution to get us back on the road quickly, and explained everything in detail multiple times to make sure I handled the situation safely and correctly. Even offered to come pick my truck up an hour away, to bring it back to his shop for a fix even if it was overtime for him, since it couldn't be done the same day as we showed up shortly before close and the needed part was unavailable. Extremely kind and knowledgeable people up there. Thanks again David, and your mechanic who's name I forgot to get from him too!

Hell yes! Totally trustworthy and reliable! Broke down out of state and they were honest, very fair in price and very knowledgeable! Very impressed! Staff and owners were cool! Vote for Andre!

Was in Cherokee on vacation Had a problem with my steering on my car He got me in quick and did a little Custom weld an got me back on the road Hey, could have took advantage of my situatiom .He was Honest an And very reasonable and fair on PriceAnd would like to say thank you

People here are very friendly and kind .Very helpful to people who need work done . If i ever in that town and need work done i will definitely go to them. David was very nice and even offered to take me back to where i was staying and even offered to come pick me up when my van got done great service . If I could give less than a one star rating, I would. The owner said that they were going to replace all 4 brakes. They only replace the front and lyed about the others. They destroyed a caliper bolt in the process. They charged $500 for a $150 job at most. They also took all day to complete a one hour job. Avoid this horrible shop at all costs.

We got a flat at almost 5pm the day before the 4th of July. Put the donut tire on and luckily were directed to Andre s shop that was just right down the road. Nowhere else was open and we were over an hour from where we were staying. That s a long ride on a donut. Pulled in and were serviced immediately and back on the road in under 20 minutes. Barely a blip in our day and allowed us to keep the rest of our plans. Everyone was very friendly and absolutely made our day.Service: Tires

they have an alignment rack but don t know how to use it. didn t even set my steering wheel straight and told me that since my car was on air suspension that the steering shaft had to be disconnected to straighten the wheel which makes 0 sense. said they put it to factory specs but the toe wasn t even matching and they didn t adjust anything. told me to come back to get it fixed and they made me wait till 5:30 and still didn t fix it

Made a trip down to Cherokee this past week. After grabbing lunch with my family at a local restaurant, my car wouldn t start. I called Napa hoping they could help and boy they did by leading me to Hard Tymes Garage. The owner David sent one of his mechanics down and jumped my car off with a battery booster. After bringing my car in for a troubleshoot, Come to find out my battery had a dead cell. Luckily for me they had the exact battery I needed in stock. David and his staff were amazing and had me in and out in under 30 mins. While I was there, David and his staff treated me like family. Thank you guys once again.Service: Auto battery maintenance

I have taken my vehicle to Hard Tymes twice and it has been one of the best experiences since moving to NC 7 years ago. The folks at Hard Tymes are friendly and knowledgeable. They also don t charge an arm and leg for services. HIGHLY recommend!

My Daughter is in college at western Carolina her car broke down I checked around for garage only one Open 10:00am/6pm on Saturday. They fixed it at a reasonable price and did extras for no more money. If possible when I have car trouble at home 3hrs away I will be using these guys. Great job hard times. Our car broke down when we were 500 miles away from home and this shop took us in immediately when others wouldn t. They quickly diagnosed the problem, and helped us with all of our options. Everyone at the shop from the owner to the employees were kind hearted, caring, and treated us like family! They did everything we could to make sure we made it home safely. Got a quote from him to put idler arm housing on my truck . And when I returned to pick up my truck bill was 50 dollars less he told it didn't take as long as he thought. That is were nice

Our vehicle started running hot. Two gentleman got it patched enough to make it to Cherokee. We took it to Hard Tymes Garage. They repaired it in a couple of days. Very friendly.
