I have not had any problems at this store with the people who work there. I would say that you just have to plan on getting better quality parts than the advanced brand equivalent for certain applications. Installed refurbished parts that come with lifetime warranties , but completely fail with in a week or so, are useless. This puts you in the same predicament and will lead to some serious frustration. It has happened a few times throughout the years purchasing faulty parts. A few have been defective right out of the box.

I would suggest to drive the extra miles to Chadbourn Advance Auto Parts. My personal experience here wasn t pleasant. The man that supposedly helped me guided me to a part that did not fit my vehicle. In addition, the quality of customer service wasn t present. The only hint of hospitality was the front desk lady. She was the only one who greeted me with kindness. I had to return my item, but I did NOT return to Whiteville. The Chadbourn location specifically Christopher made sure my Auto needs were met.

Woman was rude and insisted I couldn't use speed perks on my purchase because it was on sale. Clearly says you can and never had this issue but wouldn't even try. Not going back to this one. Only bad advance I've ever been to.

Mr. Ernest was absolutely, amazingly, nice. I enjoyed the kindness, his perfection of how he installed my battery. He made me laugh while waiting. His conversation was seasoned with wisdom. I like his customer service. Salesmen like Mr. Ernest, make every visit afterwards worth coming back.

Don't call especially the one in lumberton NC don't matter when I call I always get put on hold, but as far as service goes u don't get anything special u might get lucky and get somebody tht knows a little something abt cars, but usually they just know how to type in the computer to tell u if they got your part in stock or not you just better make sure you know exactly what because they won't be anyhelp what so ever the employees just get paid to do a search of their inventory pretty much.

Everyone was very helpful. When I had a major emergency and needed transmission fluid unexpectedly, I stopped there and had no cash or debit card on me at all. One of the employees there actually bought the transmission fluid for me and put it in my car so that I would get home safely!!!!

There was only two people working in the store and when I finally got someone to help me, I asked for a set of star sockets and they told me I could not take them out of the set to see if it fit and if I did once I left I could not bring it back and less it was defective not if it didn't fit. I had the piece of equipment with me that I needed to check it on but they still will not let me take the socket out of the pack until I bought the pack of sockets.

Doesn't deserve 1 star!!! Terrible customer service. Stood in line for 10 minutes. No one helping customers at all. One employee got in his truck and left and the female employee walked past people waiting to go outside and smoke and talk on her cell phone, ended up leaving and going to Autozone.

I needed a product to clean my headlights and asked a clerk he dropped what he was doing walking to the shelf. I got the last one and it was on sale $2 off.

Very knowledgeable staff. Almost always has a coupon code on their website. Buy online and pick up in store for savings. Also have a rewards program.

A chaotic hang-out for late teen-aged boys. Check tractor supply before buying any tools from this or any other "specialty tool" seller, sometimes you can get way more quality for a fraction of the price.
