From start to finish, doing business with TNT automotive was a pleasure. Scheduling can easily be done online -- they have a nice, modern website and are quick to reply. You also receive text updates about your service. I appreciated the honest dialogue about my vehicle and the thoroughness with which questions were answered. Nothing was pushed on me, and the prices were fair. All employees were kind and professional. I will happily bring my vehicle back in the future and am happy to have this option in Ashe County!

TNT is where I will always go for all my mechanic needs. I have had about everything done through them on different vehicles over the years. Rear end, suspension work, transmission work, seals, rear end replaced, water pump, belts, maintenance of all kinds with bo issues from them. The Warranty is real and comes with the service and they honor it. I have had a radiator and a transmission fail through no fault of their own after replacing them at TNT and it was completely covered with no hassle. I have had over 7,000 in parts and labor covered by Tobin because they honor the Warranty and want it to be done right. The communication is the best I have ever experienced. Working a full time job its hard to communicate with a mechanic and they have the technology to send you reports, pictures, answer any questions. I have had many mechanical needs met without ever being face to face with anyone. I've had my truck towed there after hours and picked it up after hours and paid. Jason at the Front desk is awesome and very diligent with his job. Every question I have had, any issue I've brought to them, they have been able to answer and solve all of them in a timely and professional manner. 5/5 stars in all categories.

I recommend TNT for all your automotive repair needs. The whole staff is very attentive and professional. I have been extremely satisfied with all of my visits.They backup their guarantees and I have never had a problem. Jason is an excellent and knowledgeable service rider. Very satisfied on every repair.

A big thank you to Tobin, Jason, and the crew at TNT!! Great service! Super friendly and professional with fair prices. I have a 2000 Honda CRV that I love very much and the crew at TNT took great care of her! I needed an oil change before traveling back to Florida after visiting family here and TNT was highly recommended by mechanical locals. The TNT crew also installed rain guards for a minimal charge that I had purchased at O Reilly s. They provide a comfortable waiting area with complimentary water or soda for customers. I recently had a bad experience with another local car care dealer in W. Jefferson that left me feeling stranded and ripped off. Since I often travel from Miami to visit family here (with my older model car) I m so happy to have found a car care place that I trust when away from home.

This is a top notch business! I ve dealt with Tobin and TNT numerous times and I ve never had a complaint. Jason at the front desk is great! This place is an excellent example of you get what you pay for. These guys are AWESOME! My car drives like brand new again, and it's 12 years old. They did my timing belt, AC, oil, and other stuff super fast. They'll be the ONLY folks working on my car from here on out! Highly recommend! This may be the only honest automotive repair shop in the State of NC. He was true to his word on the warranty repair to my 1997 Chevy suburban. He went the extra mile to replace oil pan gasket. Solved the oil leak and worked with me on the bill. This is my new home shop here in Ashe County NC. Tobin the owner covered the warranty cost and labour. Very happy with the services TNT provided to me on several of my vehicles. I use TNT to perform jobs on my vehicles that I can't tackle myself, or that I don't have time for. I've been very satisfied with the level of service. In one of my trucks I even had them replacement the entire transmission.With mechanics you can get a shoddy job done cheap, or you can go to a shop like TNT and get a great job done at a market price. Brought my lifted F150 here for an alignment and had a great experience. The technician who completed my alignment walked me through the results, and was very knowledgeable. I went in because I thought my transmission was about to go. Ended up being an ignition coil. They advised me to replace my timing belt due to mileage. Good thing I had them replace it. The belt was all but gone! Saved me a new engine. Jason at the front is phenomenal along with the mechanics. He explained what the work entailed, very thoroughly. This is not the only job they have done for me. Very happy with workmanship and service. No issues. I highly recommend!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I ve used TNT automotive a number of times now and not only do they do a fantastic job, the owner, Tobin is always upgrading and changing aspects to make life easier for the customer. One new addition is a payment plan for a more costly repair to ensure you don t break the bank! Jason, at the front taking calls and handling customer services does a fantastic job as well as being honest and friendly. I ve been here so many times that I ve met everyone in the shop as well. JD, Bobby and Aaron as far as I know and they all do killer work, making sure your vehicle is ready to hit the road again! Our van broke down and we were an hour away from where we were staying and our 3 dogs. TNT was very helpful. They found the problem and fixed it within a few hours and without overcharging. Honest, dependable and highly recommended. Thanks again guys!!!

We were getting ready to head back to Charlotte when our vehicle refused to stay running at idle. I used YouTube to self diagnose and went to a local auto parts store to buy a $50 replacement part and while I was there they recommended TNT to install the part for me. We drove right over and Tobin first advised that I allow him to test the system to verify that my YouTube diagnosis was correct. Tobin then literally climbed into the engine compartment and found a vacuum line that had come loose which he reattached with a clamp at no charge.That is not normal. I expected to pay through the nose because we are not local. That kind of service makes you believe that there are still good honest people out there.The other two mechanics were equally friendly and helpful. Tobin and his workers and hands down the best in the area and just about the only people im comfortable with working on my Subaru. They have done countless repairs on my wrx from engine swaps, turbo swaps, suspension upgrades and much more. If you have a modified vehicle I highly recommend taking it to tnt for any service it may need. Super great group of guys who do some quality work.

These men bent over backward to help me with my vehicle. The thermostat housing needed to be replaced and my warranty didn t cover it. It was going to be over $400 out of pocket that I could not pay. They worked with the car dealer at Rash auto who sold the car to me and helped me cover the cost. I cannot recommend this shop enough to people are are tried of getting robbed by their usual auto shop. 5 stars
