My car had a dead battery, and they were able to replace it in three days! They really helped me out of a tight jam there!Even better, it cost $170 LESS than their estimate!

AutoWerks repaired my radiator overflow tank. I had my BMW towed there because they are known for their work on foreign vehicles and the closest BMW dealership is an hour away. Russell kept me frequently informed with pricing & updates. I appreciated their professionalism and timeliness to get my vehicle back to me as quickly as possible. Will definitely take my vehicle there for future maintenance. Thank you guys!Services: General repairs, Oil change

Been coming here for over 2 years with 3 vehicles. Always have received good service. They even referred me to another repair shop for a muffler repair rather than trying to fix themselves. Have never tried to upsell me into something unnecessary such as a high end tire for one of my cars used primarily around town. Always informs me of areas that will need attention be n in future visits. Just had an alignment and new tires put on my 2013 CR-Z. Guys did a great job and it rides like a dream. Only complaint would be it took a really long time, but I'll gladly wait for quality work any day of the week. Really knowledgeable staff willing to share their knowledge made for a great experience. Alignment, tires, and a free class on alignment/suspension was well worth the price.

AutoWerks was the only shop on the area to answer their phones and get my car scheduled for service when my transmission went out. When the found out my car was covered under an extended warranty they informed me and help me get my vehicle to a dealer supported by the manufacturer. Definitely recommend their service.

I am new to the Pinehurst area and needed service (and tires) on my BMW. I was referred to AutoWerks by a golfing buddy and I am very happy he did. They were reasonably priced, explained why my prior tires were wearing incorrectly and they performed the regularly scheduled maintenance. We discussed upcoming service and I feel very comfortable that they will do what is needed and at a fair price. I can't ask for anything more......Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

I bought tires through The Tire Rack and had them delivered directly to AutoWerks. After they arrived at the shop, they said they could work my BMW 128i in the next day without an appointment. Wow! Thank you! I did have to leave it for several hours, but I was okay with that. Excellent work, highly recommended for import work, especially European makes.

Showed up with a car needing a state inspection. They had locked the door. Dude walks up and sits down at the desk, pointing to a sign that says call a number. I called the number and got a recording. He comes out and said I would have to leave the car. Didn't offer to make appointment. I would not recommend going here. I took it up 15/501 to Tim's Auto Repair and they had me done in 15 minutes without an appointment!

We had the tires rotated and the oil changed on out mini cooper.The price tag was $450.00 we barely got out of the parking lot when it became apparent the wheels were about to fall off because the lugs had never been tightened. I had a repair slip that clearly stated the car had been test driven and all work had been expertly compleated. BUYER BEWAREServices: Tires, Tire rotations

Over the years we have had a BMW and now a Mercedes GL450. Autowerks has always been there for us. I usually schedule my service with Russell and I am always comfortable about that because i trust what he is telling me. If Russell says it needs to done, we do it. You never get the idea at AutoWerks that they are suggesting things just to drive up the bill. And to go with that, the prices are reasonable. Another plus for me is that they now service Cadillacs, so if you have a Caddy, you're home. Please give them a try.Services: General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair

Friendly atmosphere and you feel welcome in the place. I was curious to try them because they were the only one recommended by tire rack to install the tires I got from tire rack - which was done competently and have no problems with it yet, so far.... hopefully not though. They also suggested the front brake pads to be replaced since it was all worn out and they charged me $200 for labor and parts for the semi metallic brake pads. They would also have a 30 point courtesy inspection which kinda gives you a peace of mind that everything s good and in working condition. For the job that they did, i d say it s pretty basic so I can t really tell whether they can diagnose a problem with a car but hopefully I won t be having those difficult to fix problems to my car and just let them do all the wear and tear jobs for my car.

Stopped going here after discovering they attempted to repair my daughters door with tape and charging me a small fortune every time. I asked VW after taking it to Autowerks three times for the same problem, if they were sure, their reply was there is no way they tore apart the door and fixed what they claimed without seeing this, and that would ve resulted in them fixing it.

My husband has always been extremely pleased with the service he's gotten on our Lexus at AutoWerks. They have been able to fix problems that the Lexus dealer in Charlotte could never seem to figure out. If you plan to drive your auto many years, as we do, then your owe it to yourself to give it to notch maintenance and advice. Autowerks provides that at reasonable prices with no surprises on what they will be billing you for.

To all my friends in the Sandhills, please never bring your car to Autowerks. I had the worst possible experience with them over this last week. They are either incompetent in their work, disingenuous in their efforts, or ignorant to the fact that customers actually matter. I have brought vehicles to Autowerks for nearly 10 years- Land Rover, Volvo, Audi basically because there was no one else nearby. Recently, I brought my Land Rover to them to simply have the battery replaced - I also asked them to complete their "full A- Service and inspection". After only using the vehicle for a day and a half, our au pair, a very conscientious driver called and said something was wrong and she stopped the car in the middle of Southern Pines. When I arrived, I opened the hood to find the battery cover improperly seated and fuse box cover improperly seated. I could see right away that they had problems putting the battery in, because in doing so they completely separated the air intake from its three lower mounts to a point where it even separated the connection to engine air intake. One could see where they pressed down on it while trying to put the battery in and in doing so they inadvertently loosened the hose to the radiator, this coupled with the completely disconnected air intake that they never re-installed, that sits above the radiator hose caused the hose to completely disconnect allowing all of the coolant to leak out and air to enter the system. I arrived after the vehicle was parked for some two hours and re-attached the hose, re-installed the air intake, connected it back to engine air duct, and refilled some of the coolant with water. I then had the vehicle towed back to the shop and explained what happened. They responded that they don t make mistakes and basically called me a liar and despite their 2 YEAR OR 24,000 MILE WARRANTY ON PARTS AND LABOR DUE TO FAULTY WORKMANSHIP OR FAILED COMPONENT they informed me that once it drives away from the dealership they are not responsible for anything. In effect, zero warranty, zero customer care and zero respect. Now note I am a mechanical engineer, I am pretty handy with vehicles. I didn t change the battery because I had a hectic work schedule. I did ask them to get the vehicle back to the au pair as soon as possible - I guess that means screw reviewing the work just push it out the door. I have brought this vehicle in for every single service possible. I found it humorous that the owner not only he tried to get me to not only pay for the entire repair but then said we should do the timing chain as well - nice try at an up sell. He refused to have any real discussion about the proximate cause and instead simply smirked. I regret that Autowerks has decided to stop standing by their work, caring for customers, or even providing any semblance of professionalism. They obviously do not care about their reputation or quality of work and I will no longer stand by them. I can just imagine how many of their other customers they have and continue to fleece with their claims expertise and "one of the best warranties in the industry". Do yourself and your neighbors a favor and find a auto mechanic you can trust.

After doing good business with them for 5 years, something has changed. Currently I would give them a zero if I could.UPDATE Chuck made a personnel change and fixed the problem. It is back to the friendly professional company I used to deal with!

AutoWerks provides excellent service for both of our cars, made easier by having good communication as well as a detailed understanding of the BMW and Miata cars. The Autowerks team is truly outstanding. Why? Everything done is first explained well and to our satisfaction before the work is done. The excellent diagnostic skills Chuck and the technicians have, and the personal touch we receive, keeps us coming back for all service needs. We enjoy seeing Chuck and Lorraine (& Joe Latino when he s there!) and know the reason our 3 Lexus vehicles (2001, 2004, 2004) are driving so well is directly related to Autowerks caring and competent service. Nearly 20 years of automotive service of our family s many cars tells the story. We have had nothing but stellar experiences with Autowerks. Thank you, Chuck, Lorraine, Joe, Brian and the rest of the team!!

Bought a used volvo in Apex in December. Was told that the low battery notice would reset. It never did and last week I got a notice that my safety systems were not working. Called Autowerks and they got me in that day, diagnosed the problem - wrong battery type allowed by the Dealership ( I will find out more before I re-rate the dealership). Apparently a common problem with European cars serviced by untrained mechanics. Autowerks will be my go to mechanic..

This was my first time using Autowerks and i was very pleased with their communication and explanation of the problem with my car's AC. My repair was handled quickly and they even drove me back to work after i dropped off my car. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a good mechanic. :)

NOT SATISFIED-DON'T RECOMMEND!! Several months ago I took my vehicle in for Engine light, vibration and A/C repair with aftermarket warranty. They overcharged me and also said my warranty wouldn't cover repairs and I had to pay cash. I Spoke with warranty company and they said they would pay, but Autwerks could NOT prove failure because they disposed of failing part.VEHICLE still has vibration but I would NEVER take it back....DISHONEST REPAIR SHOP

Been going for over two years, always had excellent work. Professional and personable staff, clearly knowledgeable about the work they preform - and definitely show they care about their customers. I'm just visiting family for the week, noticed a drip under my car, and called these folks. They told me they'd look at the car the next morning, and when I started out to see them, my tire monitor light came on. They diagnosed the drip as "this can easily wait, just keep an eye on it, a 2 on a scale of 10", pulled a 2-inch nail from my tire, repaired the tire and charged me absolutely nothing! They could easily have spooked me into a very expensive repair, especially knowing that they'd not be likely to see me again. I'm totally impressed and wish I could bring my car to them for all its servicing. My friends back home in New Jersey are never going to believe this one...

I simply wouldn't bring my BMW Z4 anywhere else in the greater Fort Bragg area. John and his family know how to provide second to none customer service and most importantly are experts in repairing European cars.

I took my car to get fixed while I was out of school for the holidays. When I got my car back the amp was blown. The amp in my car was working before I took it there to get fixed. They could not give me a definate day that my car would be finished. I had to drive a different car to school for a month due to the lack of information provided to me. I will not be bringing my car back here to get fixed.
