I recommend the tech working on this Vehicles to start Communicating with the service techs. Has an issue with my truck yesterday in my opinion. My truck needed a new battery and the techs working on my truck could have talk with the service Advisor and see if I wanted to change while it was still in the shop. Instead they waited until I was about to checkout to tell me I needed a new battery and had to take my truck back to the shop area again. Other than that issue my experience was good.

I had a wonderful experience buying at Universal Chevrolet! Jayden was outstanding with his customer service. Everyone was friendly & helpful. This was unlike any other car buying experience. Not only will this be my go to spot for future purchases, I will also refer anyone looking to purchase.I did have to return for a service shortly after my purchase but luckily the warranty covered it. The team made my experience enjoyable & quickly corrected all concerns I had. I appreciate how quickly they got me in & provided me with a loaner.Making the drive from Cary is totally worth it to deal with a family owned & operated business.

I have been taking my car to Universal for service for a couple of years now and they are always great but this time they went way over and above! Last Friday as I was leaving work in Wendell, I noticed my tire pressure going down. I live in Rocky Mount so I was hesitant to drive home on it. I was driving past Universal so I stopped in to see if maybe someone was still there and they could look at it. This was around 5:15 pm. Apparently I had a screw almost in the side of my tire which meant it couldn t be repaired and I definitely couldn t drive home on it and I have no spare. The entire service team was working to find a way to get me home safely! They managed to find a loaner tire and put it on and balance it so that I could get home and be able to drive safely until I came back on Monday. They stayed until 6:30 on a Friday night just to make sure that I was taken care of!! They are the best and I will never take my car anywhere else! That s what I call service!

Jayden was great! We buy all our vehicles from Universal and everyone there is always very helpful and friendly. Travis has helped us as well in the past and he s equally passionate about his job. Let s not forget Joan! She s a beast with that paperwork and as much as I dread it, she makes it easy. Love them all!

Loved the time to relax and have a cup of coffee. The best part was the price of the the visit. $0.00 was great. Thank you for taking time to reset the sensors and assure me that there was nothing wrong with the air filter. I won't mention the price but will tell everyone about how attentive and professional the staff is in handling all our needs and the questions we have.

Thankful for a great place like Universal for taking care of my car. Usually I just see them for oil changes or new tires, but this time it was a bigger project! I didn't want to buy a new transmission for my Suburban, but Hannah in the Service Department made it a smooth process! She kept in contact with me through out the process, is very kind and friendly, and was able to get a new transmission ordered quickly. Its nice having a dealership close to home to buy from and for outstanding service when needed!

The business manager I worked with name Justin really seemed to care about my situation and having me with a payment I was comfortable for. I felt like he was doing everything he could to get me the best finance rate and protection plan for the preowned car I was buying. I would definitely recommend this location. I felt like part of the family the entire time I was there.

I bought my blazer from them almost 3 years ago and have taken my car there for oil changes ever since. I drive a lot of miles and when I heard a noise in car, I was so appreciative that they quickly worked to get my car in shop to diagnosis. As a woman I appreciate them having a since of urgency so I felt safe on road.

I currently own 6 Chevrolet's. Today I purchased a 2024 Chevy 2500 HD from Bryan at Universal Chevrolet. He and all of the employees at the dealership were professional, kind, and understanding. I had a really negative experience at another Chevy dealership in Cary and I decided to give Universal a chance at a friend's recommendation, I was not disappointed. Universal is my new Chevy dealer!! I'll be back!!!

My experience with Universal Chevrolet has been very disappointing. It started in October when I felt I was having some issues with my transmission. I called and made an appt for service to check. My Oct appt was then cancelled and reschedule for November because they were short staffed and backed up. My November appt was then cancelled and I was told they wouldn't be able to get to it until at least January so call back. In January I called to make an appt for the transmission, service and to have a new steering wheel installed for a recall. I was told I needed to make the appt at least one week out to allow time for the part to arrive so I did. The following week when I went to drop off my car I received a call a little later in the day saying the part had not been ordered but they would rush for overnight shipping and I could leave my vehicle of pick it up and bring it back. I chose to leave it overnight. I called the following day and asked to be updated because I had to get my car that afternoon. I was told the part hadn't arrived but they hoped to have it by lunch. At 1:30 I received a text saying the part had arrived and they were beginning installation. Almost two hours later I received another call saying they made a mistake and my part had not arrived so my steering wheel wasn't done and I could continue leaving the car or come pick it up. I told them I needed my car so I would pick it up. They did offer to come get my car once the part arrived. When I went to pick up my car I was told they apologized and told me they'd let me know when the part was in and said they'd provided a discount on my bill to compensate for my inconvenience. It was a $10 discount on a $200 plus bill. It's been over a week and I still haven't been notified the part is in even though it was supposedly rushed with overnight shipping. Sadly I was told prior to using this dealership the service wasn't the best, but I thought I'd give it a try again because I didn't have issues in the past, unfortunately what I had been told was reflected in my experience.

Guy who checked me in was super helpful and friendly. Oil change took over an 1.5 hours despite have an appointment setup in advance. When I finally got my car back, the tire pressure sensors were not recalibrated / reset so now I have a constant dash warning about my tires. Now I have to come back on a Saturday and probably spend most of my Saturday morning waiting for that to be reset.

Did not feel pushed into doing a deal, Jaden took his time and answered all questions. He was very professional and explained throughly all options on the truck. I enjoyed the small dealership experience and atmosphere it brought.

I just bought a new Tahoe from Universal Chevrolet after contacting about 10 different dealerships. Tyler called me shortly after entering my information online and was great to work with. They gave me a very fair amount for my trade in and deal on this Tahoe. It was good enough that we drove 2 hours to this dealership to purchase from these guys. We were in and out in a decent amount of time and didn t have to spend all day going back and fourth on price and dealing with paperwork like most dealerships. I will be back when it s time for another vehicle. Thank you Tyler and your whole team at Universal. You all were a joy to work with.

Stopped in today to inquire about buying our lease vehicle and thought we would have to make an appointment for a later date. They handled everything right then and got our car in for inspection right away. I can t say enough good things about this dealership. We always bring our vehicles here for service. Everyone is on top of their game and they are all very friendly. Customer service is outstanding!

I had an excellent experience from start to finish. I started working with Justin Keevert on a pre-order 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2 back in December 2022. I couldn't be happier with our interactions. He was always on top of things and responded to my questions quickly (we communicated mostly via text messages). He also reached out to me with information regarding my order even when I hadn't inquired. He was very professional, friendly and informative.Prior to my closing, I worked with Joan Richart. She too was amazing. Rather than sitting at the dealership for hours on end, we were able to get all of the paperwork prepared prior to closing, which made for a quick, simple process.Finally, I worked with Jordan Batiste, who was also professional, informative and friendly. He walked me through several features with my new vehicle and answered all of my questions.The entire process was excellent except for the delays in production. That being said, I totally understand that some things are out of their control and it didn't take away from my experience with Universal Chevrolet.UPDATE 12/19/2023:Although I had a great experience when purchasing my vehicle from Universal Chevrolet, I had a horrible experience with the Service Department.My truck was less than 3 months old (under 1500 miles) and I woke up to a dead battery. I tried charging it, but it wouldn't hold a charge, so I scheduled a Service appointment. I understand things happen. At this point, I just wanted to get it in and have the issue fixed. I was able to get it started and ended up driving it in at night with no power steering or brakes. The dashboard was lit up with several warning lights. I called the next morning to ensure they had my keys (which they did) and was told somebody would contact me later that day. Nobody contacted me, so I texted Justin (the person who sold me my vehicle) and he was able to provide me with some information. The service manager, Chris, showed no sense of haste and missed every commitment he made to me. He only provided information when I reached out first. I'm totally convinced that they let it sit for 3 business days, replaced the battery, reset the codes and sent me on my way (FYI: they had my truck for a total of 6 days). I don't think any troubleshooting was done as the Check Engine light lit up on my way home from the dealership. At that point, I wasn't about to bring it back to that shop. I drove it the next day and the check engine light went off. I then used my OBD II scanner and found 3 error codes. I tried resetting the codes, but only 2 were cleared. My truck still has the code P25A2. I will schedule an appointment with a different Chevy Service Department to diagnose as I will not be returning to the Universal Chevrolet Service Dept. Absolutely a horrible experience.

Debbie is amazing. This is our 5th car we have bought from her. Even though we moved an hour and 20 minutes away and have a chevy dealer must closer we still went back to Debbie. She is so responsive and always takes great care of us. Everyone in the dealership is amazing. We really do feel like family when we are there. I would highly recommend Debbie oh yes and Bob to anyone!!

Technician forgot to reset the tire monitor after patching a pin hole in the tire. Now I'll have to make another one hour round-trip to get it reset. Human error happens but not a good result.

Completed the work on the vehicle per the scheduled visit and made recommendations to hold off on one of the initial items since it was not required. Which is quite welcome compared to dealer services which try to push things that you don t need. Universal s honestly in their service is highly appreciated!
