This is by far the best place to have work done on your car!!! They are always flexible, drop your car off for the night, they will get working on your car next day. Great service, best price in town and always go the extra mile to help.

Scott has been my dad s go-to mechanic for the better part of 20 years so when I moved back to the area I knew he d be the best man to look after my own car. It s great being able to come in and trust if he says something needs replaced or worked on, he isn t just saying it because I m a woman who doesn t really get cars. Him and his son are wonderful men, and they take the time to show me what they re doing and why. I always recommend them to friends too.Services: Transmission, Oil change

I m long overdue for this review. I had my son take his car to Goodin s a few months back as it needed a bit of work. Scott prioritized what was most critical, even calling out the car needed new tires before moving forward with certain repairs. Not only was the work done timely, but the peace of mind knowing I wasn t paying for unnecessary repairs and that the work done would be quality work, priceless! Speaking of price, very reasonable considering the expertise & quality received.Services: Transmission, Brake service & repair

I just went to get my windshield wipers realigned. I got to watch and learn something new. No extra work for an extra cost which I have been use to. Will recommend to others and take my car here for the indefinite future. Also the shop dog is amazing and would give him five stars on his own. I took my van there, twice! The first time I took it in for something and Scott called me to tell me that I needed something else done and not what I thought. I appreciated his honesty and was able to get that issue fixed at home. When I had a problem arise later that week, I went right back to him to address the new issue. He did a great job and very quickly. I hope I don't need anything else, but if I do, he will be my first call!

Scott is an amazing mechanic. He has always diagnosed problems with our cars on the first try. We ve never had a bad repair job. His rates are reasonable and he is very honest.

Scott was wonderful. He overhauled my a/c system , including replacing the compressor and other components well within the time estimated to do the job and exactly at the estimated price. He showed me everything he was doing as the work progressed and answered all my questions. Additionally, he arranged his schedule so he could complete the work while I waited since I didn't have access to a ride. Scott made sure I was comfortable while I waited and even provided a sweet friendly dog to play with. I will definitely be returning with any future car issues and recommend him unreservedly. I didn't get my brakes done here, but I wish I did. Midas charged me $510.00 for 1 AXLE! Scott quoted me 200 less for the same job, but was too busy and I had to wait a week... I should've waited out of principle, but I would've lost more money, not having a car for work... Next time I'm not waiting until it's urgent, just gonna call Scott and schedule a time.

Scott did a great job with some suspension work on my Subaru Impreza. I am very happy to have found an honest small shop mechanic, it is rare in this day and age to find a shop like this that takes pride in their work. I highly recommend you connect with them if you need auto repairs.

New to the area not knowing any mechanical shops I tried Goodins. Went in for routine service Scott called me with a list of repairs I was going to need and prioritized it. Some items were need to do it now others could wait till the next oil change. Very communicative, service done on time and correctly prices were very fair.

Goodin s is the best! You don t see a place with 5 stars all that often but these guys deserve it! They were honest, they kept us informed with what they found and what they were going to do and they didn t try to add additional repairs. They fully deserve the 5 stars and we ll definitely be back!

I have been a customer here since I first moved to Raleigh/Wake County in 2001. Scott is EXTREMELY good at what he does. He Never sells you something you don't need! His prices are very fair and he only charges for actual time spent on work. Most repair shops charge by the job and then YOU pay more. My only complaint is that he is pretty far from where I live But I wouldn't trust Anyone Else ... I'd give a 10 STAR if I could...

I have never had good experiences with mechanics. When I found Scott's shop, I finally found someone I can trust. Scott is very honest and patient with me. He answers any questions I have about my truck and makes sure I understand what he s saying without just using mechanical terms that I don t recognize. He has even went as far as to call another shop for me when they were having issues with my alignment since I didn't understand what they were telling me was wrong.He is just very thorough and caring. I trust him with any repairs I need done and I know if I have any question about my truck I can call him and get an honest, clarifying answer.

Took a potential SUV purchase for a check before buying. Scott put it on the lift, looked it over, and then walked me through everything he was looking for. I left knowing more about the vehicle I ended up buying and had peace of mind with my investment. Definitely worth the thirty minutes of my day and affordable labor cost to stop in.

We've been bringing our vehicles to Goodin's Auto for years. The owner, Scott, always has fair pricing, and he is always transparent in all of his work. He doesn't try to upsell or talk you into anything that isn't needed. I recommend Goodin's to everyone I know.
