Lloyd is fantastic professional at what he does, honest, and easy to work with. He did a fantastic job. I was rear ended and the other three shops I took it to wanted to just replace the bumper and move on. He identified structural damage prior to the bumper coming off, that needed to be addressed during repair, and he was able to color match a very complex paint job on a 10 year old car while keeping the OEM bumper. Even in the bright sunlight you can't tell it's been repainted. Additionally the fit and gaps are like it came from the factory, despite it being a repair vs a replacement of the bumper. As compared to a fleet vehicle we just got back from a "major repair shop" from a minor parking lot side swipe. The gaps on this repair are very wide between panels and the alignment is off, oh and cost 3x as much.Lloyd was also was able to do expert level paint-less repair dents from pine cones and general wear and tear to make the car look awesome. I've recommended him to anyone looking for repairs from accidents or dent repair. It's a bit of a drive to him but completely worth it for the quality and expertise. Also rates are VERY reasonable not price gouged like most collision or body repair places looking for an insurance check.I've been meaning to leave this review for multiple years now and after the previously mentioned experience with the fleet vehicle I had to write it. The one benefit of multiple years passing is I can attest the repair and paint job are still top notch!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Lloyd has worked on 2 of my cars on different occasions, and his work is impeccable, and his attention to detail is meticulous. He is truly a master at his craft. I have a 2002 Lexus that is a 'cream puff.' It has a dark garnet pearl paint which is a challenge to work with. I have taken this car to Lloyd twice - once a couple of years ago when someone backed into my bumper in a parking lot, and a few weeks ago when someone slammed a grocery cart into the driver's side door. On both visits Lloyd was able to fix the damage without any 'replacement' of parts. In other words, if I took this car to the Lexus dealer, they would have wanted to replace the bumper, and possibly part of the door panel. Of course, Lloyd just worked his magic and painstakingly removed the dents. You would never know there was any damage to the car at all. And, while he was at it, he touched up/removed all of the other scratches, chips, dinks, and pine tar stains on the car. He is just that particular and proud of his work.His pricing is almost ridiculously low - I'm sure his prices are less than half the cost of anyone else in the business. I have sent friends of mine to him and they have been amazed at his work and value for the money.If your looking for a Master painter, an honest businessman, and a very reasonable price, look no further, Lloyd is your guy!

First of all I want to apologize to Lloyd for the delay in posting this review. I wrote it a few days after I had my car repairwork done, but apparently it did not post properly and I am just finding that out.I chose Colors on Parade because of the many positive reviews Lloyd had received on Angie's List and I was not disappointed! He was quick to schedule my appointment and extremely easy to work with from start to finish.Lloyd's workmanship was everything his other clients had said it would be! He did an amazing job on my car's scratches and also fixed a back bumper issue. These repairs were completed in a timely fashion at Lloyd's very nice workshop near his home in Wendell, NC.Lloyd clearly loves his profession and takes great pride in his work. The price he quoted me was very reasonable and there were no surprises when I picked up my car. Lloyd is a very honest, intelligent, friendly and likable person. By the time I drove away from his bodyshop, I felt like I had made a new friend. I will not take any future car bodywork to anyone but Lloyd! I have already recommended him to two friends. My advice to anyone who needs car bodywork or classic car restoration in the Wake County area is to call Lloyd at Colors on Parade. You will not be disappointed!

Lloyd did a great job on my Audi bumper! I got hit by two different people within a week and he made it look brand new without replacing any parts. He is honest and a real professional. He gave me great service and quick turnaround as well. He even repaired a few paint chips on my hood at no extra charge without my even asking him to look at other parts of the car. I ll definitely bring any car that needs body work to Lloyd!

I ve been a customer of Lloyd s for many years. Repairs are always above and beyond what s expected. He s great to do business with and he always takes care of his customers. Most recently repaired collision damage on our Ridgeline and hail damage on our Highlander. The repairs are always amazing and you always get your vehicle back better than expected. I recommend Lloyd to everybody who needs repairs. Honest, genuine, trustworthy, and you always get more for you money. Plus, he s just such a great person to do business with. Relax, Lloyd got this! Lloyd was fantastic to talk to when I needed work done on my vehicle. It was a very small (but deep) scratch that did not damage the paint, but the clear coat needed serious attention. He talked me through at least three options while keeping cost (and quality of work done) in mind. Lloyd also accommodated my busy work schedule which meant a lot to me and really appreciated how quickly he responded to all of my questions throughout the repair. He is also very knowledgeable about vehicles, and kindly spent extra time just walking me through some of the past vehicles he had worked on (or built) and they were all definitely very nice! Thank you so much for your help, Lloyd!

Lloyd is amazing and has truly mastered the art of paint and dent removal. He has worked virtual miracles for me on several vehicles over the past 10 years that I've known him and he is the ONLY person I let touch my cars. His attention to detail is second to none and he takes incredible pride in his work. I refer anyone and everyone I can to him and I know he will do the job right every time. It's always a pleasure doing business with Lloyd and he is just a really nice guy to boot.

The car is beautiful again. Scratches that were on the hood have been fixed and the hood, fenders and bumper are the same color again. Lloyd is an artist not just a body shop. He takes pride and joy in his work and making sure that you are happy with the end results. The entire project was a week long but everything Lloyd does is as close to perfection as possible which takes a little more time. A body shop offered to redo the hood and feather the color into the fenders and not touch the bumper, but Lloyd insisted on doing the BEST job and that included repainting the fenders and bumper so it matched the hood. I love my car and am extremely please with the work that was done on it. I would definitely go back to Lloyd!

I am so happy that I made the choice to take my car to Lloyd to have repaired. His attention to detail and professionalism throughout the process superseded my expectations. Not only was the finished product amazing but the cost was extremely reasonable for the amount of work it took to restore. I would highly recommend and would come back to him for any future issues!

Lloyd, first I want to apologize for the time I took to write this review. In a world where "if it sounds to good to be true, it normally is"...Lloyd is an exception to that rule! Over a month ago, I noticed a dent and deep scratches on the front passenger side panel of my 2016 Canyon...no clue how it got there. I took it to various auto body shops in the area and was quoted $800-$900 and most places said it would at least a week to have it done. I do not know if the stars aligned when I saw Lloyd but he was able to pencil me in the following Monday after my initial visit. He had the truck 2 days and the results were as good as any body shop. He even filled in some of the other superficial scratches that came on the truck when I bought it. Over a month has passed...still looks the same as the day Lloyd fixed the damage. The man knows his trade and clearly wants the best for his customers. Lloyd, I will be back if I need your services again. Thank you! Here is to sticking it to Angie's list :)

Colors On Parade was recommended to me by a colleague, and the service was all that was advertised and more. The short drive to Wendell was well worth it. Lloyd did a beautiful job on our damaged Honda. The work was done in a very timely manner and for about 30% less than body shops in Raleigh bid. In addition, Lloyd repaired some old minor damage for free. The car now looks great.

I have taken 4 cars to Lloyd over the last few years. He is extremely talented, professional, and has excellent attention to detail. He does great work. I am very particular and his repairs are perfect. I highly recommend his work.

Lloyd Lind is the epitome of a perfectionist when it comes to automotive body and paint repair. He has restored the cosmetics and functionality on three of our present and former vehicles during the past decade (two plastic bumpers that were rammed by trailer hitches and one driver's door that came to me slightly damaged on a vehicle that I bought sight unseen at an auction in Florida). Lloyd's mastery of plastic bumper repair is especially unique. Other body shops would insist upon replacement, but Lloyd can work his magic to repair these plastic bumpers to like-new condition for considerably less money. Whenever I have a cosmetic issue that is beyond my touch-up paint skills, I go to Lloyd.

I have known Lloyd for over 20 years, and he continues to offer craftsmanship and value. It is refreshing to find a business that does things the right way at a fair price. Lloyd has always repaired my vehicles with expertise and pride. His shop is clean, and he runs a first class business. I hope that we do not HAVE TO use Lloyd's services in the near future, but if I need an integrity- plus body craftman, Lloyd will be our man.

I have a 2008 Trailblazer SS and I'm a car guy. I take pride in the appearance of my truck and one day suddenly noticed a parking lot dent in one of the rear doors. It was a dimple that caught the eye on the shiny black surface of the door. I took it to Lloyd because he had beautifully restored the entire front of my Trailblazer after a deer strike a few years ago. Not only did Lloyd do a masterful job in bringing back the damage from the deer strike to as-new condition, but he spent many hours negotiating with State Farm to get the funds to correct the unseen damage to wiring and other hidden parts. So back to my door dent. When I picked up the truck, the dimple was entirely removed without a drop of paint used on the surface. It was immaculate! Very impressive, because it was located in a very difficult location with regards to access behind the door skin.Finally, next week, I have scheduled my wife's car for attention at Colors on Parade. Her Avalon has some damage on the rear bumper cover from a parking lot incident. I have every confidence that Lloyd will work his magic on the Avalon, too. Lloyd is a master at his craft. He will not disappoint.

Lloyd is a master! He fixed a very bad oopsie in the quarter panel and door of my white pearl Honda Pilot. You would never know there was damage. He also used paintless dent removal on the other side that did not have paint damage but a very long dent. He was very up front about what he thought he could do and how it might turn out. That repair isn t factory perfect (he did not promise that - again, super transparent about everything) but, is SO much better and no one but me will probably know it is there. Lloyd also took care of some other minor scrapes on the front and rear bumper because he is just that much of a perfectionist. I hope not to need him again but, have a car body guy now if I do. He absolutely deserves the perfect ratings and it was great to support someone doing what they love to do!Service: Body & Trim

I've had to acquire Lloyd's services on a couple of different occasions and I have to say I've never been more satisfied by his skill level and overall GREAT professional attitude and customer service. The first project I had for Lloyd was repairing the front bumper of my black 2010 Camaro. This was due to some trailer damage that occurred during delivery to the dealer. GREAT repair and color match. My latest situation I can only blame on myself, but that's not the issue. I had a dented rear quarter panel and gas door on a graystone metallic Trailblazer that I needed Lloyd to work his magic on. I was amazed at the color-match and how he told me he was so happy with the orange peel match from door to panel that he wasn't even going to machine buff the panel. I also had him take care of those pesky bumper rash scratches and chips from where the previous owner had leaned into the hatch area. After fixing them, the bumper looks brand new to me. It's been a couple of weeks and I'm still impressed by how well this turned out. Thanks Lloyd!

Lloyd did an amazing job!! The dealership misled me saying that they needed to replace my entire "headlight kit" - they quoted almost $2,000 to fix it. Lloyd had me stop by the same day - and less than 30 minutes later, I was on my way with my light completely fixed and it cost only $30!!!!! I cannot say enough how thankful I am. Lloyd is one of the few honest car repair men. Highly recommend!!!!

Lloyd did a fantastic job on my car which was rear ended. After replacing the rear bumper, he noticed it didn't match the front bumper so he painted it at no cost just so it would look good. What a guy!!! If you are looking for honesty and good work, he is your man.

Lloyd has done a couple things for me, I had a fender ding that required repainting the entire quarter panel a few years ago and it came out beautifully. Despite being a somewhat complex metallic it matches perfectly, even trying to be critical and find a flaw or any slight shade difference, found nothing, no evidence that there was ever work done. More recently I had a minor clear coat scratch that he helped take care of. Due to the thickness of the factory clear coat Lloyd was very upfront about expectations and options and recommended the lowest cost repair. The end result was very good, and only under certain lighting conditions is the touch up clear coat noticeable, and only if you know where to look and what to look for.

Mr.Lloyd did an awesome job with my car and went out of his way to fix a few paint chips. I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking to get body work done to their automobile. I came to this business because it had all 5 star reviews and the reviews do not lie, you will receive great customer service and you car/truck will look better than ever! The car was completed when he said it would be which was important as I use the car for work. Clean shop and the repair was perfect.

To anyone doubting the reviews, don t. Lloyd is an absolute class act. I m not from the area and didn t know who to go to so I had found this shop through online reviews and decided to trust all the 5 star reviews and I m glad I did. I had a little paint chip that 99.9% of people would consider a non issue and there s really nothing you can do about it, just one of those facts of life. Lloyd still went out of his way to touch it up to the point that I was happy with it and explained every step along the way. Truly a pleasure to deal with and I would wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone in the area.Service: Painting

Just picked up my car and it looks fantastic. Lloyd and his staff have done body work on three of my cars over the last few years. Always great work, done promptly, at a great price.Can't recommend them highly enough. Worth the drive from downtown Raleigh to go to Colors on Parade.

In 2002, our new Civic got dinged. A friend referred us to Colors on Parade. Lloyd was friendly, explained what he could do and why he would do it, and did the work at a very reasonable cost and in a very timely manner.A couple of weeks ago, more than 17 years after our experience with the Civic, I dinged our GTI. Lloyd's shop is in a new location, but everything else was the same: his attitude, the detail of his explanation, the absurdly reasonable cost, and the prompt turnaround. He even looks the same.Before the work was even done, I was talking him and Colors on Parade up to my coworkers. Now that the GTI is back, I will talk him up all the more: beautiful work at about half the price I expected to pay, with a few extras he threw in. If you need body work, particularly on plastic parts, run -- don't walk -- to Colors on Parade.

Consistent, truly outstanding experience with Colors on Parade. I wish all businesses were run exactly like CoP. Based on my experience, Lloyd (owner) is a truly genuine guy with many years of experience with all aspects of auto bodywork and is a perfectionist that consistently over-delivers. I have brought him several personal vehicles over the past 12 years with a variety of paint & body issues, the most recent involving a damaged fiberglas panel (see attached Before & After photos). Like prior, he quoted a very fair price and delivered as promised, actually earlier than expected, and looking absolutely perfect. I have all the confidence in the world in the work performed by Colors on Parade and strongly recommend them.

Absolutely the best shop I have found in Raleigh for dents ding and scratches in any car.Incredibly personal service, honest assessment of the situation and a keen eye on what will and won t work with the type of service the owner provides.I have brought my Lexus to him three times over the last 8 years and each time he goes above and beyond exceeding my expectations.This last time we brought the car, someone rammed their rood into the driver side door under the rear view mirror. The dent propagation went completely though the plastic trim denting the metal underneath.. other quotes called for a door pull and body putty to repair, Lloyd worked it for a few days slowly to get the dent out of both the plastic trim and the door panel... no repaint, no replacement trim most of all no bondo!All at a very fair price for the work done and far less then the quotes for a repainted door trim.He went one step further and gave my car a fantastic once over to clean up a bunch of sap stains and rock dings on the hood. The car amazing.

My neighbor's dog scratched up my driver side door pretty bad. I called a few repair shops and everyone quoted me a ridiculous price. Just when I was about to lose hope I called Colors On Parade. Lloyd was very knowledgeable and experienced. He asked if I could come by so he could take a look at the damages. I was in and out in less than 20 mins. The scratches were no longer visible. If you want honest work & honest prices, Lloyd's the man
